This is an excellent set of 4 feeding bottles … made to the expected high quality specifications of Philips Avent. Each bottle has a wide breast shaped silicone teat in an innovative petal design medium sized feeding holes which is designed to replicate a mother's nipple. With this set you get the following:2 x 4oz/125ml bottles2 x 9oz/260ml bottles4 x natural teatsCleaning brushDummyOur nephew and his wife have a 3 month old daughter and an eighteenth month old son, the older of the two still has a bottle at bedtimes and when he's upset. The 9oz bottle is perfect for him and rarely needs refilling before he falls asleep,my nephew has been using this bottle for the last few days and says that she is thrilled with it.The smaller size is perfect for their daughter and the speed of the flow seems to satisfy, soothe and calm her quickly and she has been falling asleep in next to no time.In the morning my nephew simply unscrews the lid, removes the teat and places all three pieces into her dishwasher. It washes well and still looks as good as new. The cleaning brush comes in handy if they happen to be away from home and unable to use a dishwasher.Unfortunately the dummy hasn't been used as neither of the children use dummies, however it does look like a well made item.Price wise these bottles are on the expensive side, however they are extremely well made and in this case you get what you pay for.

All four of my children have had Philips Avent bottles and I would never use another brand.Having said that, please before you buy more than one box just remember that all babies are different and yours may not get on with these. Some will hate the feel of these compared to other brands, some will love them, some won't care where they get their milk from.We did have some Tommee Tippee bottles for our eldest but he didn't feed that well with them and the printed measurements washed off far too quickly. We replaced the Tommee Tippee set with Avent bottles and they were far better. When you're scrubbing any bottle with a bottle brush, or using a dishwasher, you're bound to wash off the printed measurements over time but we've found that the printing lasts really well on the Avent bottles. If you're unsure what the difference in the different bottles is I would recommend chatting to your friends with children and doing your own research. The biggest difference we've found between branded bottles and cheap basic bottles is the shape and quality of the teats. Cheaper bottles mainly use horrible latex and they're an awful shape. Branded ones like these by Avent are more nipple shaped and they last much longer.

These are perfect for giving babies boiled (and cooled) drinking water. Regardless of whether you're breast feeding or giving formula, in warm weather adding in drinking water can be vitally important to keeping babies hydrated. This starter set includes a range of items that worked well for my nephew. This is a really good, practical set, combining generally very useable elements: two large bottles, two smaller ones, and a range of different flow rate teats, together with a bottle brush and a dummy. The system includes anti-colic valves, which seem to be effective: my nephew is a larger and very hungry baby who is prone to gulping air as he drinks/feeds.As a family,we don't use dummies - for reasons associated with speech and dental development - and even though the one included with this set is an orthodontic version, the concerns over speech development remain, making the dummy redundant. Otherwise, every element has seen good use. My SIL has an electronic great pump from this range, and the bottles are, as promised, perfectly compatible.

If you have a baby, you know finding the right bottle is a must to help with the fussy little things. This is a nice little kit, it comes with two smaller bottles and 2 larger bottles, then 2 mouth inserts. Along with this is also a dummy and a cleaning brush. The mouth inserts act as natural style so sort of the nest best like to like thing for the baby to direct treat feeding. Anyway my baby seems to be loving and drinking from them perfectly. Also to see that they are BPA free is a nice touch. I have also started to use the little brush to clean all my baby washable items before sterilising as the soft yet rigid bristles seem to tackle everything its great. All round great item would highly recommend to any parents.Go Phillips Avent !

I don't understand the jargon or the technology, however daughter scored them high, no hic-ups or bad wind (she gulps her food so has reflux issues). 2 small and 2 large, the small will be ok for very small babies but 4oz is not enough for my little monster.Dummie was nice extra but my little angel is fussy with her dummies so was not impressed, and the cleaning brush was nice touch.Where its says starter set I would recommend more than just 4 bottles, and the over all price is rather high for 4 bottles. These look nice bottles and my daughter drank from them with no issues, however price made me score down as you will need more than just 2 of each type which would make building up your stockof bottles very expensive.

We got this for my sister that's had a baby, she absolutely loves them she said the teats are so soft her baby has taken to them very well. She said the teats are shaded a lot like a real breast and that's good because she is breastfeeding as well. She uses the bottles to give her breasts a rest and she says she also freezes some milk. She has not used the dummy yet but says everything in this starter kit is good quality and well made, cleaning the bottles and teats is easy with the brush in this kit the small end is just right for cleaning the teats. She is glad you get 2 different size bottles for when her baby needs a bigger feed. She would recommend this kit to anyone with a new born.

This is a nice set of 4 bottles, which come in two sizes 4 floz/125 ml and 9 floz/260 ml. Also included are 4 natural teats, which are meant to feel similar to a nipple. The bottles have a gender neutral plain design, so are ideal as a gift set for a new mum to a girl or boy. The set includes one dummy/pacifier and a bottle brush/teat brush. The set is quite expensive at it's current list price of £39.99 at time of review and isn't the best value for money. The flow of the teats in this is a little fast, so you may need to purchase slower flow teats, as the ones included seem to be a medium flow, which aren't the most suitable for the younger babies.

This is a great bottle set from the trusted Philip's Avent brand and good value money at just over £30.I both breast and bottle feed and this is perfect for me.For your money you get: 2 x 125ml bottles for your newborn, 2 x 260ml bottles, a curved cleaning brush which cleans so well and gets alls over the bottle, and an orthodontic dummy. All of which are of an excellent quality. What I really love about these bottles are that the teets mimick the shape of the nipple so baby will not find it a massive change going between the breast and bottle. This would make a really good and actually thoughtful gift for a new family. They are also bpa free.

My friend helped me review this and she is very impressed! The quality is great. It's comfortable to hold and the teat flow is just right. There are two different size bottles with different flows, so the bigger ones are great for when the baby's appetite and age increase. Starting age about 1 month up till around 6 months. It's super easy to clean with the firm and functionally shaped bottle brush and it can be sterilised (she has a Philips microwave steriliser in which it fits). The bottles are well shaped and easy to hold and there was no leaking at any point.Maybe an extra dummy or two would be good, but otherwise we are impressed.

Having this comprehensive set to turn to can be useful for expressed milk as well as formula. A perfect combination. Two four-ounce bottles and teats, two nine-ounce bigger bottles for older hungrier babes, a soother and cover cap for hygiene, a bottle cleaning brush that will get into all the corners and four spare teats are all included. From birth and well into the first year after six months all you will need is in this bumper box, carefully and thoughtfully designed by Philips Avent, a brand we all know and can trust. Anti-colic, the valve simulates the natural way babies feed from the breast.

These bottles go perfectly with the advent ultra comfort breast pump I have.Babies can be fussy with the nipples on bottles but these seem great so far, apparently these are good for combination feeding so I’m hoping when I express it isn’t going to cause too much confusion within the little one.Size 1 is the perfect flow but I’ve seen on other reviews people stick with size one for a bit longer as size two is more fast flowing , I’ll be keeping this in mind when it comes time to go to the bigger bottle. All in all A great set and fab for a gift to get started!

You get a good range of bottle sizes with this set; 4 bottles in the set.I'm finding the bottle sizes of the smaller bottles just right for my new-born. As other reviewers have stated they are very comfortable to hold and the teat sizes are great with no issues with the baby being able to feed. The set comes with a cleaning brush and they are very easy to clean. I think these are great for buying yourself or as others have stated a great gift to help a new mother on her way.

We’ve used Philips Avent bottles for most of our children, and really rate them as being well-made and long-lasting. These bottles are more of the same; they are well-made, the teats seem long-lasting, and it's really handy that there is a bottle brush included, as even if you have one or two already, these always seem to go missing. It's a really good starter set, and four bottles is just the right number. Very pleased with this.

Absolutely love this bottle set. Very similar to another set received, however this is a little cheaper comparing the RRP mainly due to the slight differences, that these bottles do not support the horizontal feeding. Otherwise very similar set with anti colic valves. The option of 2 sizes is great. The smaller size is perfect for a quick feed. The brush and dummy are nice additions a set perfect as a gift for new mums/dads.

Our last baby had Dr Bown bottles, they were quite expensive, but helped with wind. These are a bit cheaper and do much the same job and with the same results. They have a wide neck making them easy to fill. Also easy to clean and fit perfectly into our Avent microwave steriliser. With a little practice I was able to unscrew and screw up the caps with just one hand.
