I got sent the MAM Easy Start Bottle 130ml and Soother set to test and it's got 5 stars from us and baby! The Easy Start bottle is meant to hold 130ml/4 1/2oz however we've found that it will hold 150ml/5oz easily as long as you swirl the formula rather than shaking it so it doesn't go all frothy. You can tell that the bottle is well made with no sharp/rough seams on the plastic and the texture of the teat doesn't feel too plasticy like some other brands. The bottle and dummy are both a gender neutral yellow/cream colour and have two cute little bears on them. The teat is a really good shape and seems to be a bit easier for my baby to drink from as it's quite slim rather than overly round and big.We haven't experienced any colic at all with this bottle which has got to be thanks to the anti-colic valve in the base of the bottle. We do find sometimes that the valve makes a sound almost like a bird tweeting for some reason but this is hardly an issue! Consisting of 6 individual parts means that the whole bottle is really easy to clean (even if it does take a bit longer to do so) and keep hygienic. We have put the whole thing in the dishwasher as it is dishwasher safe but unfortunately all the parts flip over during the cycle so we have to basically re-wash everything so now we just always wash the bottle by hand. The parts are easy to put together but you do need to make sure that you press the white rubber anti-colic seal into the base of the bottle firmly. Cleaning the dummy is also quick and easy and I like to squeeze the teat under running water to rinse out the inside and then get rid of any left over water that might be inside. I'm yet to try the self-sterilising process but from reading the instructions, I can see this is a really easy and also convenient way of sterilising. We use an electric steriliser and steamer and the bottle and dummy both fit easily inside. We have found that milk does take a bit longer to warm up in the Easy Start bottle when placing it into a jug of hot water and I think this is due to the slightly thicker than normal plastic. Not really a huge issue as we rarely pre-make bottles that then require warming up but it can be a bit annoying when you do need to.Baby has taken to the MAM soother instantly (as opposed to other brands which have a giant round teat on them that she can't seem to keep in her mouth) and even manages to keep it in when laughing. The button on the front makes it easy for little hands to pick up and also take out of their mouth! The edges of the dummy that go against baby's skin have little raised dots on them to help air flow and prevent horrible dribble rash which so far we seem to have avoided.I've got to say, MAM products are quite expensive but it's clear you are paying for quality and I do feel like they will last. These have got 5/5 for us! ☆☆☆☆☆ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Oh how I’m torn with these bottles..!!Advantages-Amazing latch. After trying our existing TT bottles, our new baby was struggling with them- typical, but she found these much easier. She actually refused the TT bottles and barely ate so we had to come up with something QUICK!My best advice as a mum of 2- don’t assume that your choice is what your baby will go with! Don’t invest in *anything* until you know its right!! That goes for bottles/wipes/nappies/dummies...They come apart for ‘easy’ cleaning.Personally I find it a pain putting them together when making a bottle. Ideally you would put them together so they’re ready to use but trust me it doesn’t always work out like that, especially with a 2yo and a new baby.Ok you can clean them ‘really well’ but I preferred the TT bottles for this. They are self sterilising.I did it a bit at the beginning but with 4 bottles on the go and a very hungry baby, its just a better idea to do them in one go in a steam steriliser. (We bought an extra single bottle just cos)They have those holes for anti-colic.I’d like to think this has helped my baby not get colic but that’s debatable.DisadvantagesYou can’t warm/cool the bottle/contents in a normal way. I find this SO annoying as with a TT bottle you can just pop it in water; easy as pie.I don’t particularly like the look of these bottles. I don’t like much about them but thelittle characters are cute I suppose..~Something you wouldn’t ever realise until you use them.. when you put them together fresh from sterilising, you make the formula up but when you shake the bottle; you get showered with steam water from the bottom where the holes are. Very very annoying and I find I have to press the bottle into a muslin cloth to get the excess water, urgh.Would I recommend these bottles? For the excellent and what looks like a comfortable latch, definitely. My baby’s hardly sickly but that might be the formula (C&G)I loved the TT bottles in every way, but fortunately we found these and my baby gets on well with them! Thanks for reading :)

We were previously using Tommee Tippee advanced comfort closer to nature bottles and teats, initially baby was doing fine but as he reached 6 weeks it was like he had been replaced by a nightmare baby! My poor boy struggled and cried with trapped wind and colic for days. I'd tried changing teats from 2 (he was on the thicker comfort milk hence no 2s) to the variflow, back to 1s and 2s again with infacol, gripe water (which I didn't want to pump into him) and to no avail. Got a voucher from Boots for a free little MAM bottle (which has their number 1 teat attached) and instantly noticed a difference. So I bought this 3 pack. What I noticed was that compared to the very round O shape of the TT teats, these teats are more oval shaped and LOADS softer and more pliable. This meant that my baby could form a 'seal' around the teat with his mouth rather than having two gaps on either side which had ultimately allowed him to take lots of air onboard. While the TT teats have one vent in them, these bottles are vented all round the bottom. As he sucks (hard!), the air draws in through the bottom of the bottle to balance the pressure. Combine these two factors and I've now got an almost silently drinking baby. I've kept him on the number 1 teats to slow him down as he's a guzzler which didn't help too. Less wind in means half the winding time and a baby who smiles more than he cries! BINGO. As for the leakage issue people mention, if you sterilise by the instructions, making sure the seal is resting on the base when sterilising, the seal doesn't get damaged. Once out the microwave, take the seal back out to remove any trapped water between that and the base and hey presto! No leakage. My baby is now 10 weeks old and these bottles have absolutely revolutionised our little family in the last two weeks. I can't recommend them enough!

The self-sterilisation feature is just genius, all you need is a microwave. no extra equipment like electric steamers or Milton tablets so yeah the value for money thing is a given. I prefer these to Tommee tippee, NUK, and ASDA all of which I've tried before.Only one improvement I would make is that after 11 months of use the teats have discoloured, but that generally happens with most brands. My baby was small so we are still on flow 1 at night and 2 in the day.One tip for using these bottles, a couple of times powdered milk got stuck in the teat so the milk couldn't flow. My little one started to fuss over her milk right at the start and then cried and it was only from previous experience I thought to even check the milk was flowing. It's so easy after months of the bottles working no problem to not think to check the teat. This only happens when Baby is older as the milk gets trapped in the teat when you are using 210ml of milk as it's so much higher up the bottle to start with. So by this time in her life, rightly or wrongly, I'm quite comfortable cleaning dummies by sucking them myself, so I take the bottle, suck really hard to clear the hole and ensure the flow is constant again. Bingo. This has happened quite a few times. My baby never suffered from colic, but that might not be down to these bottles we will never know. However, she was very windy as a newborn. I googled it and read up that Aptamil had changed their recipe in recent years, so whereas my first two were great on it, it could be attributed to her wind. Also by not shaking the bottle vigorously up and down that causes loads of froth also helps. So, I changed to Aldi milk and started to swirl the milk round to mix rather than vertically (this also helps with the milk powder not getting stuck in the teat) and her wind went overnight, amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous bottles.I am a mum of 4 and have used many different brands of bottles through the years and I found that these bottles are the best I’ve ever used. Not only are they anti colic (with no fiddly bits I might add!) but they are also extremely convenient being self steam. Being a mum of 4 I am always on the go and sometimes forget to turn the steamer on! (And sometimes drop my last bottle all over the floor!) So being able to steam 1 bottle in a few mins is an absolute life saver! They’re really easy to clean and pattern on the front still hasn’t faded or worn after being washed, steamed and used LOOOOOADS of times,so they still look like new!The only problem I had with these bottles is that I usually put the bottle in a jug and keep it under cold running water to cool, but I felt that the pressure of the water was forcing little bits of water through the venting holes in the bottom of the bottle; when I took the bottle out there was a very small amount of liquid between the rubber seal and the inside of the base. I can’t 100% say this is water, but it never happens when I cool the bottle in a just a jug of cold water (not running), however on finding this out I simply just used the method above and got on with it. Problem solved. All in all visually the bottles are gorgeous, the shape of the bottle makes it comfy to hold when feeding my baby, which is something I’d never considered when buying bottles.Easy to clean, easy to build, no fiddly bits inside the bottle, self steam for convenience and anti colic for baby’s comfort. Would I recommend? 100% ! Would I buy these again YES! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love these bottles. I used to buy the Avent ones for my firstborn but was frustrated that they leaked everywhere (typically at 4am or some other antisocial time!) and so - with son number two - thought I would change brand. The design on the bottles is sweet and the measurements are easy to see. Assembly takes a little getting used to but I do it like this: follow the instructions to assemble, heat in the microwave, leave to cool a little bit, empty out as much water as possible before taking apart, shake out excess droplets as you go, screw together tightly and hey presto! Obviously, shake to mix the formula over the sink and - to relieve the pressure in the bottles from the steam - take off the lid for a few seconds. The times that the bottles have leaked have been at the point of assembly and have been my error, in that I didn't tighten the base sufficiently. It's been brilliant not to have to worry about a separate steriliser; in fact, I don't think I've used it at all this time around, as for things like dummies etc I use steriliser bags instead and I love that you can transport the clean bottles to friends' houses and make up from scratch that way. Once assembled, the bottles (without formula or breastmilk) stay sterile for 24 hours, which is useful when out and about. The only aspect of which I am unsure is in immersing the bottle in hot water to warm milk but, as I make my son's feeds from scratch, this isn't a problem; when I was expressing, I ensured that his breastmilk had been warmed in its original container before transferring to the sterilised Mam bottle. I'm delighted with this purchase and will be buying more.

Like every new mum I researched the best bottles to buy well in advance of my daughters arrival . My little ray of sunshine arrives and is actually a little terror (she’s mine I can say that) she suffered from terrible and I mean terrible, milk allergies, reflux and not just the silent kind , prescribed what feels like millions of medicines to combat this and decided she would throw in a bit of wind and colic Just to keep my on my toes !! The leading anti colic bottles I purchased were a faff if I’m honest , like assembling Lego drunk trying to put them together , daughter didn’t tske to the teet, anti colic seemed to male her worse and trying to put the medicine in these bottles prior to a feed was just near impossible .At my wits end at 3 am in the morning I purchased the mam bottles - LIFE CHANGED INSTANTLY . No million piece assembly , medicine easily added prior to feed with no faff at all , daughter LOVES the teets, self sterilising .. WHATS not to love ! And the BEST BIT !!! None and I mean No screaming what so ever whole being fed , colic reduced within days and I mean it was noticeable straight away how much more settled she Just seemed . The colour range is appealing as well and vary from your bog standard bottle !! The only negative and it’s only as I’m trying to find fault with these that I’m saying it ... the larger bottles could be done with having the 1 ounce mark on them as once it gets to two ounces it’s hard to tell what’s left - but it’s a slight negative . I LOVE these bottles and as a single mum who was tearing her hair out you have saved my sanity !!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[product:mam-easy-start-130ml-bottle-influenster-members] We recently recieved this bottle from MAM as a voxbox. At first I was unsure because to be honest, weve never had/used a MAM product before, but let me tell you, things are about to change! The benefits of this bottle at a glance: ☆Self sterilising - the fact you can pop it in the microwave for 3 mins (following the guidelines given with the bottle), let it cool and then feed your child with it just blows my mind. Gone are the days of saving up bottles etc to put in a HUGE machine on a night time.☆Tiny Teat - The teat is so dainty compared to other bottles I've seen. It literally looks like how the nipple would sit in babies mouth instead of trying to shove a huge chunk of plastic in there. Many other bottles have teats so far from mimicking the nipple that it just doesn't feel the same for baby.☆ Anti colic - not this ive not seen before. When I first opened the box and pulled the whole bottle apart just to have a look at it all, i was thinking to myself, what on earth are the hole for on the bottom, what good is that? Well it for the excess air to leave the bottle via the bottom rather than being swallowed down by babh creating completely heartbreaking pain. No main painful gassiness.☆ Design - come on, who doesn't love a cute little turtle and hearts! Totally recommend! Thank you both MAM and infuenster for giving me this opportunity to test and review this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We thought our baby was suffering with colic so replaced our tommee tippee bottles with these.... didn’t seem to help BUT that’s because it transpired my son had a soy intolerance so wasn’t colic after all.... That aside, I do like these bottles anyway.... I think the teet encourages better (wider) latch if you’re combination feeding like I was... my son was always happy to switch between mam bottle and nipple.....However, I have knocked a star off because I’m not sure you can warm them by placing in boiling water... reason being the bottom has holes in which lets the air out of the bottle... although there is a plastic seal between the base and the milk, it only slots in and I’m not confident that it couldn’t be compromised. If I was using formula I’d simply use the tommee tippee prep machine and make it in the bottle... if I was wanting to warm up expressed milk, I’d warm in a tommee tippee bottle and decant into mam bottle (but that’s more washing up!)Also, if you are combination feeding, unless your supply is great and fast flowing.... don’t make the mistake I did of switching to a size 2 teet just because size 2 teets say ‘2 months +’...... the flow is so much faster than my own flow and he started to refuse my boob during the day and opt for the easier faster flowing bottle..... I still fed him off the boob at night whilst he was sleepy and couldn’t tell the difference but never again during the day.

Fabulous, fabulous product. I breastfed for 5 months and was worried the transition from breast to bottle would take some tackling, especially as a dairy allergy meant my son had to go from breast to a special formula which tasted awful. He also had a late diagnosed tongue tie which was snipped at 11 weeks and bad reflux, so getting the right bottle was vital for us. I had read good reviews about MAM bottles, particularly the silk feel teats which mimicked the breast, so bought the three pack of bottles on a special offer, so even more value for money!) and hoped for the best. From the first feed, I was impressed with the design of the bottle, reducing wind during feeding and my son fed really well considering he'd never had a bottle before.Cleaning was brilliant as they dismantle fully allowing a thorough clean, and then stack up and self sterilise in the microwave in 3 minutes! What's not to love? I have since bought a further 3 bottles and have one at the grandparents and at a family friend's as they can keep and sterilise the bottle themselves whenever we visit/stay. I can't recommend this bottle highly enough, an un-used Doctor Brown bottle remains in my cupboard as I bought it the same time and have never had to use it. Heard good reviews about both but the sheer design and practicality of these MAM bottles, along with brilliant results reducing wind etc, put this ahead of DB (in my opinion).

I wanted these bottles for ease when travelling and outings, I am very impressed with all its features just in one bottle! Firstly, my 4 month old has taken to the teats really well from using size 1 as a newborn and now on size 2. There is no leakage from her mouth when feeding which we have experienced before. The curved shape of the bottle means she can rest her hand on the bottle and begin learning to hold the bottle. When adding formula and shaking the bottle, the teats do no leak. The bottles were really useful when we went away for 1 night and I didn’t want to take any sterilisers, you simply dismatle the bottle, fill with 20ml of water (the bottle lid conveniently has the measurements on it so you can measure the water),put all the parts together and pop it in the microwave. You can put more than one bottle in the microwave which was really useful when I was bulk washing at the end of the day. They are extremely easy to clean as there aren’t any lumps and bumps or deep teat holders. The only downside to this bottle is if you want to put it in a bottle warmer or boiling water to heat up the milk, it does take quite a long time as the bottom of the bottle is really thick to allow you to self sterilise. Overall, I would highly recommend these bottles, they are supurb for taking on holiday with you and being able to self sterilise. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My baby is now 4 months old. She started life off as an exclusively breastfed baby but we soon introduced a bottle to get her used to it in case of emergencies and just because. She took to the bottle well but with the initial ones we used she used to take in so much wind because the teat was so wide. We gave a MAM bottle a try and she took to it absolutely fine. Since I was initially only feeding her one bottle a day, the steriliser was not being used enough to warrant the time and power and thankfully, the MAM bottles were self sterilising. It’s been so handy and especially since we have been on holiday - instead of taking a big bulky steriliser, the bottles just go in the microwave by itself. This is also an advantage when popping over to someone’s house and needing to quickly sterilise the bottles before heading off. Not only has that saved us space, but they have also been a bit of a life saver since my baby has now decided she doesn’t want to breastfeed anymore and luckily, she’s still taking to the bottles. The anti-colic system has been fantastic with helping baby not take as much wind as well. She seems to be a very windy baby and with the air flow helping to reduce the wind taken in, she’s a happier baby. All in all, we have been thankful for MAM bottles! Plus, the designs are so cute!! We love them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Like most parents, I find winding to be a nightmare, especially when the majority of the times my baby wouldn't part with any wind what so ever. This usually leads to him refusing to drink any more from his bottle and a night feed which seems to last forever. We tried numerous bottles, Advent, Doctor browns and the cheaper alternatives found in Morrisons and Tesco but heard good things from our health visitor so decided to give the MAM self sterilising bottles a go too.My partner and I were very pleased with our purchase. Baby finds the bottles easier to drink from, the way the bottle releases air through the bottom as he drinks deffinately as a reduced effect on how much air he's taking in whilst feeding and he's passing wind a bit easier, which in turn makes feeding time a whole lot quicker. The self sterilising feature is also very convenient, we've found ourselves sterilising individual bottles this way when out at friends houses, all it requires is that you take a clean bottle with you and have water and a microwave handy for quick sterilisation. The only draw back I had with the bottles I purchased is that one of the three continuously leaked through the seal at the base of the bottle, this was easily rectified however by contacting MAMS which sent out a brand new bottle with a pre paid package to send the faulty one back.

I have a love hate relationship for the MAM self sterilising bottles but this is mainly my fault...i'll explain. If you correctly insert the teat into the holder and correctly screw on both top and bottom parts (very important!) they work fine. When its 3 am and your faffing with the different parts i wasn't as accurate as i should have been which meant formula going everywhere because i had either not popped up the teat correctly, not inserted the white part at the bottom which meant it leaked or i had cross threaded the bottom bit. Its really really simple to get it right i promise you this but tiredness and sleepless nights made it difficult .These are fantastic for being self sterilising as when your steriliser is full you can do these 3 minutes for 1 or add an additional minute for another bottle so say you have 5 MAM self sterilising bottles its 7 minutes . I would recommend these , the teats are great and my daughter who is mix fed breast and bottle takes to them with ease, ive found taking to other mums and health are professionals this is rare that she took to the bottle and breast so easily without problem so every child is different . You can hear when the bottles is being used the anti colic in action which means less air getting in causing less wind for your little one, less not none obviously.

First bottle I have ever used for my 6 week old and at first my husband did find it very fidgety to self sterile as there are 6 pieces altogether (trying to get him involved in feeding times!). I had to read the instructions a couple of times to make sure he was doing it correctly. When my husband tried to assemble it together, there was leakage but that was down to him not tightening the base enough where the silicone seal goes! However saying this- It is so cool that the base of the bottle unscrews, i have not seen this on any other bottles I have looked at! For the self sterilising feature- It is SO practical for me to take these bottles away on holidays withhout having to pack a whole sterilising kit!(yes I have bought additionals and due to this unique feature i will continue to buy the next sizes up! There are measurements on the bottle lid starting from 10ml. The bottle itself starts measurements from 2oz, so if you need to give your baby any less than 2oz, you can measure it out in the lid itself. The neck of the bottle is quite wide which i love as no spillage when pouring formula inside. #gifted #mamreview #complimentary #influenster [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
