I bought these as I needed to prepare more than the three feeds that most other powder containers/dispensers allow without buying another space-consuming independent powder dispenser, and I also wanted the convenience of storing them in the bottle.Overall I am very pleased with these dispensers. Initially I did have a couple of instances of formula powder going everywhere as the knack to fitting the lids can take a short while to master, though it did only take those two mishaps for me to grasp the knack of fitting them firmly but safely! (Much of the problem could have been down to sleep deprivation, though!!!) They fit very securely into the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles, and are an excellent solution for those who are looking to take their cooled, boiled water pre-measured into bottles along with the pre-measured formula without needing a completely independent formula dispenser and to save some space. The down sides are that if you're short of steriliser space you need to carefully plan your sterilising to match the number of dispensers to the number of bottles, and ensuring your dispenser stays as sterile as possible whilst ensuring it's bone dry for the formula can also be a little difficult to master initially (especially if you use cold water sterilisation)!I also can't see how you can fit the entire eight scoops of formula in to each dispenser as stated on the box, as mine are full to the brim at six scoops - and these aren't large scoops, they're just ordinary scoops of formula. For those reasons I won't give these dispensers five stars, but they are definitely worth the four I've given them and I'd certainly recommend them!

I decided to buy these to use in conjunction with the TT food warmer for late night or early morning feeds and also for travel, if that is ever a possibility again. They are good but I found a few issues with them, firstly they should be sterilised and are suitable for all sterilisation methods. So far, so good, BUT the dispenser has to be completely dry inside before adding scoops of formula powder, for obvious reasons. Unless you have one of the new and very expensive sterilisers that dries as well, this means you either need to leave the dispenser on a drainer to dry, or dry it with kitchen roll or a clean tea towel, both rendering the dispenser no longer sterile. I figured that since formula powder is not sterile, that drying the dispenser on the inside only while trying to handle the outside as little as possible, would be OK. Secondly scoop sizes and powder density vary between brands and with the formula I use, even with five scoops, the dispenser is almost completely full and it is tricky to get the last bits out due to this. There is no way it would hold 8 scoops of it. I am not sure why they could not have made the dispenser pot longer to accommodate all brands, there is plenty of room in the bottle for this. Thirdly, with the water at the advised temperature some of the formula in the dispenser gets stuck due to the steam as well.

I use these overnight, so I don't have to measure out doses of milk when I am sleep deprived. Six come in the pack, I'm not sure why you would end quite this many, bit can only guess it's because bottles come in packs of six too.One of the things that really confuses me about this product is that after you sterilise them, you then need to dry them, making them not entirely sterile. If you don't dry them properly then either the milk powder sticks to the side on the pot, or it just sticks to itself and will not come out the small top piece.I can only fit six scoops of milk powder into these pots, so if your baby is on more than 6oz of milk, then these are not for you.The pots fit inside of the Tommee tippee bottles, making them really useful and compact if you are going out. When pouring the milk powder into the bottle I find the smaller funnel of the pot useful, meaning that at 3am I am less likely to spill it.Overall a good buy, especially for the price, which I would recommend to any parent as a brilliant time saver.

Mostly these pots are fab. I will start with the only 2 downsides I have come across. Firstly, as many have mentioned below, once you get past 6 scoops it gets tricky to fill them. Secondly, they would be great to put in the bottles for traveling but I haven't found a way of sterilising them and them being dry enough so I haven't used this feature. I will however use the used bottles to put the empty containers back into when travelling, as this will make it easier to find the unused milk when making bottles up on the move. I love these little pots. They make night and day feeding so much quicker with being able to measure out how much milk we need all at once.I have just got a perfect prep machine too so now all feeds are ready in no time at all. The pots are easy to use, I make much less mess and I don't have to open the tub of milk as often as before. We like these pots so much, we are buying more. All in all yes there are a couple of flaws, but the good definitely out weights the bad. I can't recommend highly enough.

After reading reviews I was concerned I wouldn't be able to fit much powder into the dispenser. It claims you can fit 8 scoops, however the maximum you could really fit in and close the lid is 7. However, I use aptamil powder and the maximum is 7 anyway so this isn't an issue for me.They fit really well onto the closer to nature bottles and are very handy when going out for the day. However, the instructions state to add cool boiled water into the bottle before you go out. Which would mean making up the formula later on using the same water which would then be cold. This goes against NHS guidance as water temp over 70c is needed to kill bacteria in formula.I've had to buy a flask to take out water with me to keep it above 70c when making up a feed later. The dispensers are definitely handy for making sure you can take out the right measurement but you will still need to find somewhere to either add the hot water later (or take a flask) as the instructions go against safety guidance.

Once you've got the knack to filling these they are great. You can just pop them into your bag instead of carrying a bulky 3 scoop dispenser when you're only out for one feed. They fit inside closer to nature bottles but I sometimes found that a tiny bit of water got into the dispenser which hardened to the side so you didn't get the full amount of formula (not very much is lost), so I tended to keep them out of the bottle, unless we were going on a long trip in which case I did as it was space saving). They are great for travelling and very quick to use when you have a crying hungry bubba. I hated pre-making bottles in case I ended up not using it so I found these perfect.Only four stars as they are a little fiddly once the powder is in! Here are some tips:Tap the dispenser every few scoops to get rid of excess air and gently put the cap on with your thumbs evenly, pushing fast will result in a cloud of formula over the kitchen!!

I bought these after reading some of the reviews on here.. some were negative and did put me off a bit but ordered them anyway.Great product!! I would have no complaints about them.I would have used these during night feeds.. I would have put the cooledboiled water into the bottle, put the milk powder in dispenser and put this into the bottle and then into the Tommee Tippee thermal cover so when my daughter woke up all I had to do was empty the powder into the warm water.. great when my daughter was up at 4am!!Great for when your out and about too.. I did exactly the same as I did for night feeds.I have bought these for two of my friends that are pregnant as I think they would make life somuch easier.I would point out that when your using it for 7-8 scoops of food you need to tap the dispenser to settle the powder and then you will get more into it.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I am sure I am not the only mum who tries to do 5 things at once so I was forever forgetting how many scoops of formula I had put into the bottle when preparing a feed ... especially during the night feeds! These little pots eradicate that problem. They hold 7 scoops of milk ... although it is a squeeze. I tap the pot on the counter once I have placed 6 scoops into the pot, this makes room for a extra scoop without the powder raising above the 'lid line'.The pots dismantle into 3 sections for cleaning - the pot, funnel and lid.The pots are compatible with Tommee tippee closer to nature 260ml and 340ml, meaning they fit inside the bottle when out and about.I personally do not do this as I use Tomme Tippee Advanced Comfort bottles, so they will not fit. I find them so handy and the formula is poured into the bottle easily and cleanly and more importantly quickly. I have the

Before my purchase, I had to put my baby formula into a plastic pot, and to prepare it was a disaster. When I found out this dispenser, my problems were over.Just have to sterilise the bottle and the dispenser, put water in the bottle and you must to dry very well the dispenser before put the powder inside of it. Close it and let it fall into the bottle, close it and it's done. There are two problems:- not worth to use into 150ml bottles (you can only use with maximum of 90ml, otherwise the water will overflow)- the capacity of the dispenser is something about 6 spoons of the baby formula's own measure. So if your baby drinks about 180ml of formula, that dispenser will serve you perfectly.Mom's tip: do not heat the bottle before prepare the formula, with de powder still in the dispenser inside of the bottle. It will make de powder humid and will be hard to use it.

I bought these to send to nursery with my son, as they have strict rules on formula - it must be pre-measured out and needs to be in a separate pot, i.e. not those ones with multiple compartments. They suggested these and they do exactly what is needed. I don't use tommee tippee bottles, so I don't put them inside a bottle, I just put them in a bag with the bottles separately. The lids stay on well enough although I haven't tried to make them fall off, perhaps if you dropped them on the floor or something the lid might come off. There is usually a very small amount of formula that ends up stuck to the inside, which is expected really when you're holding it over steaming water.I use cow and gate formula and would say 7 scoops is probably the amount you can fit in it, although again, i haven't tested that. I'm putting 5 in at the moment and it's getting towards the top.

What a god send for night feeds. I wasn’t going to buy these as I thought it was just another money making add on....Been using with prep machine.however the first night we had baby home from hospital and you have had zero sleep, exhausted and your trying to get a bottle ready quickly because you don’t want the baby waking the rest of the house up.......and you have Just had the shot of hot water to add the powder.......this is when I realised I needed them......I can’t count scoops when sleep deprived at 2 in the morning! I had to remake the whole bottle as I couldn’t remember if I had put 4 or 5 in :) ordered these pots the next morning and now pre-measure out the powder ready for every bottle.Life saver and avoids waste of losing count during the night and most of all excellent quality, easy to clean and would say a complete must if you are bottle feeding

Much better than the multi aperture type. I use these for my son for nursery as they require that each feed be pre-measured and labelled with his name and the number of oz per feed. Contrary to some reviews that state they only hold 6 or 7oz, I can testify that they do in fact hold 8 easily and would also take 9. I use a clevascoop which probably helps with getting the extra in as you have less air distributed through the powder and I do have to tap the tub against the counter 3/4 of the way thru tipping to get it all in. The clevascoop makes the whole process easier and faster thanks to the single scoop and the little funnel to avoid spills. Nursery staff prefer these too as they're easier to tip out than the multi ones.Plus I love having extras as it means no worrying about what to do if nursery forget to send them home.

I thought these were really useful! I am combi feeding at the mo after exclusive BF and find these good for many reasons, firstly I am only getting used to bottle prep therefore having pre measured milk is really helpful and also because after not having to worry about carrying bottles about previously I now have to find space in my bag for not just a bottle but also formula so these are ideal. I don't worry about the sterile issue so much - perhaps because my LO is 6m? But also because I barely touch them, you can easilly hold them around the rim which isnt submerged in the water plus the water is in the bottle therefore killing any germs?? and nothing is ever going to be 100% sterile surely?Babies are constantly putting their hands in their mouthes lol. So all in all I'm really happy with these

These are really fantastic and a great time saver. They are great for travelling and very quick to use when you have a crying hungry baby. They are also great to make up ready for night time feeds, to help save some time in making the feed when your baby is crying in the night. They fit inside closer to nature bottles, which is great as you can keep everyone together, so you know where it all is, without having to search your bag for a tiny pod of milk powder. These fits 8 scoops of power in but you need to tap the dispenser a little to get red of excess air. i never had a problem with these and i love them to bits. They are so simple but really do make your life easier when it comes to feeding your little one when out and about or in the middle of the night.

Perfect for purpose, dispensers fit well into tommee tippee bottles of all sizes, perfect for on the move with baby., no need for carrying formula in a separate container and already pre-measured. Just need to mention that they arrive with the lids inside the dispenser - easiest way to remove lid is to poke your finger in and push the top lid inwards, then hook round the lid and ease it backwards, rather than trying to prise the lid off in an outward fashion. When using with formula, the lid will be placed on the other way with the 'funnel' outwards. Once you get the knack of this you can see how the design is really useful, inside lids for storage / flat containers and outward once they have formula in them, giving a bigger dispenser.
