I got sent the MAM Easy Start Bottle 130ml and Soother set to test and it's got 5 stars from us and baby! The Easy Start bottle is meant to hold 130ml/4 1/2oz however we've found that it will hold 150ml/5oz easily as long as you swirl the formula rather than shaking it so it doesn't go all frothy. You can tell that the bottle is well made with no sharp/rough seams on the plastic and the texture of the teat doesn't feel too plasticy like some other brands. The bottle and dummy are both a gender neutral yellow/cream colour and have two cute little bears on them. The teat is a really good shape and seems to be a bit easier for my baby to drink from as it's quite slim rather than overly round and big.We haven't experienced any colic at all with this bottle which has got to be thanks to the anti-colic valve in the base of the bottle. We do find sometimes that the valve makes a sound almost like a bird tweeting for some reason but this is hardly an issue! Consisting of 6 individual parts means that the whole bottle is really easy to clean (even if it does take a bit longer to do so) and keep hygienic. We have put the whole thing in the dishwasher as it is dishwasher safe but unfortunately all the parts flip over during the cycle so we have to basically re-wash everything so now we just always wash the bottle by hand. The parts are easy to put together but you do need to make sure that you press the white rubber anti-colic seal into the base of the bottle firmly. Cleaning the dummy is also quick and easy and I like to squeeze the teat under running water to rinse out the inside and then get rid of any left over water that might be inside. I'm yet to try the self-sterilising process but from reading the instructions, I can see this is a really easy and also convenient way of sterilising. We use an electric steriliser and steamer and the bottle and dummy both fit easily inside. We have found that milk does take a bit longer to warm up in the Easy Start bottle when placing it into a jug of hot water and I think this is due to the slightly thicker than normal plastic. Not really a huge issue as we rarely pre-make bottles that then require warming up but it can be a bit annoying when you do need to.Baby has taken to the MAM soother instantly (as opposed to other brands which have a giant round teat on them that she can't seem to keep in her mouth) and even manages to keep it in when laughing. The button on the front makes it easy for little hands to pick up and also take out of their mouth! The edges of the dummy that go against baby's skin have little raised dots on them to help air flow and prevent horrible dribble rash which so far we seem to have avoided.I've got to say, MAM products are quite expensive but it's clear you are paying for quality and I do feel like they will last. These have got 5/5 for us! ☆☆☆☆☆ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We always used to use the doc brown anticolic bottles for our other children (now 5 and 6) as these were the only BPA free anticolic bottles that worked well at that time. Unfortunately the main problem with them, was the hassle of cleaning the long tubular anti colic valve and component parts, which used to drive me nuts. These MAM bottles separate into the individual component parts of lid, teat, collar, bottle body, silicone insert and vented bottle base all of which can be thoroughly scrubbed without any bother, but the main advantage is the ability to loosely assemble them together, add 20ml of water and zap in the microwave for 3minutes to sterilise them. This is just perfect when you need a bottle in a hurry or just don't fancy switching on an electric steriliser or spend 6-8mins using one of the larger microwave sterilisers out there. The other advantage is the teat design which my little un seems to prefer when compared to other standard designs- it's different in that it is flattened on two sides just below the tip and being really soft mimics the natural softness of the nipple and allows a good latch-on for the baby. The dummy also has this design and again is a winner with my bairn. Combine these features together with an anticolic system that works and in my book these are the best bottles I have ever tried and will continue to do so.I have had the odd leakage, but each time that has been due to me not assembling the screw fitting base properly, which is very easy to do when hurrying with a screaming baby in one hand and trying to get a feed made up with the other free hand. However, because of the modular design, when the bottle is tipped upside down, as for feeding, you can always just unscrew and readjust the bottle base in situ so it's no major gripe. If I have any criticism it's that the graduation markings on the side could be made a bit clearer and less cluttered with the graphics used. One caveat I'd add is that whilst bottles are marketed as 'anticolic' I feel that this truly is a misnomer as they don't totally eliminate colic at all, but merely improve the flow of liquid from the bottle to babe whilst minimising air flow in. Regular winding during feeding is paramount and if you're baby is really struggling with colic try using a reduced or lactose free feed which has worked wonders for all our babes compared to using the dubious anticolic medications on the market.

Absolutely gorgeous bottles.I am a mum of 4 and have used many different brands of bottles through the years and I found that these bottles are the best I’ve ever used. Not only are they anti colic (with no fiddly bits I might add!) but they are also extremely convenient being self steam. Being a mum of 4 I am always on the go and sometimes forget to turn the steamer on! (And sometimes drop my last bottle all over the floor!) So being able to steam 1 bottle in a few mins is an absolute life saver! They’re really easy to clean and pattern on the front still hasn’t faded or worn after being washed, steamed and used LOOOOOADS of times,so they still look like new!The only problem I had with these bottles is that I usually put the bottle in a jug and keep it under cold running water to cool, but I felt that the pressure of the water was forcing little bits of water through the venting holes in the bottom of the bottle; when I took the bottle out there was a very small amount of liquid between the rubber seal and the inside of the base. I can’t 100% say this is water, but it never happens when I cool the bottle in a just a jug of cold water (not running), however on finding this out I simply just used the method above and got on with it. Problem solved. All in all visually the bottles are gorgeous, the shape of the bottle makes it comfy to hold when feeding my baby, which is something I’d never considered when buying bottles.Easy to clean, easy to build, no fiddly bits inside the bottle, self steam for convenience and anti colic for baby’s comfort. Would I recommend? 100% ! Would I buy these again YES! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Like every new mum I researched the best bottles to buy well in advance of my daughters arrival . My little ray of sunshine arrives and is actually a little terror (she’s mine I can say that) she suffered from terrible and I mean terrible, milk allergies, reflux and not just the silent kind , prescribed what feels like millions of medicines to combat this and decided she would throw in a bit of wind and colic Just to keep my on my toes !! The leading anti colic bottles I purchased were a faff if I’m honest , like assembling Lego drunk trying to put them together , daughter didn’t tske to the teet, anti colic seemed to male her worse and trying to put the medicine in these bottles prior to a feed was just near impossible .At my wits end at 3 am in the morning I purchased the mam bottles - LIFE CHANGED INSTANTLY . No million piece assembly , medicine easily added prior to feed with no faff at all , daughter LOVES the teets, self sterilising .. WHATS not to love ! And the BEST BIT !!! None and I mean No screaming what so ever whole being fed , colic reduced within days and I mean it was noticeable straight away how much more settled she Just seemed . The colour range is appealing as well and vary from your bog standard bottle !! The only negative and it’s only as I’m trying to find fault with these that I’m saying it ... the larger bottles could be done with having the 1 ounce mark on them as once it gets to two ounces it’s hard to tell what’s left - but it’s a slight negative . I LOVE these bottles and as a single mum who was tearing her hair out you have saved my sanity !!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We transitioned to MAM bottles due to our little boy struggling with another popular baby bottle brand. He was born 3 weeks early, just 5lbs 7oz which I thought had put him at a slight disadvantage to seal his mouth properly around the teat of a bottle. That was until we moved onto MAM bottles (recommended by our health visitor), and this was no longer an issue. The texture and shape of the teat seemed to be perfect, my little boy could create a seal around the teat, with little to no leakage. A very happy boy that could feed without any issues finally, I also noticed he was alot less gassy. The self sterilising nature of the bottle is brilliant, although I've only needed to do this once so far,it is very handy. With other popular brand baby bottles, my electric steraliser can steralise 6 bottles at once. With these bottles, I can only steralise 3 bottles at a time, due to the number of parts the bottle comprises of. All together there are 6 separate parts, which obviously take longer to hand wash, assemble and steralise, which is somewhat of a faff on. However, the positive aspects of the bottle entirely outweighs this. I found myself in a routine of using 3 bottles, then cleaning all 3 at once, so I'm never left with a mound of bottles which would take a good while to clean. I would highly reccomend these bottles of you're little one is struggling to feed or is very gassy with other bottles. Will be buying these again, they arrived one day after purchase, well packaged and undamaged.

[product:mam-easy-start-130ml-bottle-influenster-members] We recently recieved this bottle from MAM as a voxbox. At first I was unsure because to be honest, weve never had/used a MAM product before, but let me tell you, things are about to change! The benefits of this bottle at a glance: ☆Self sterilising - the fact you can pop it in the microwave for 3 mins (following the guidelines given with the bottle), let it cool and then feed your child with it just blows my mind. Gone are the days of saving up bottles etc to put in a HUGE machine on a night time.☆Tiny Teat - The teat is so dainty compared to other bottles I've seen. It literally looks like how the nipple would sit in babies mouth instead of trying to shove a huge chunk of plastic in there. Many other bottles have teats so far from mimicking the nipple that it just doesn't feel the same for baby.☆ Anti colic - not this ive not seen before. When I first opened the box and pulled the whole bottle apart just to have a look at it all, i was thinking to myself, what on earth are the hole for on the bottom, what good is that? Well it for the excess air to leave the bottle via the bottom rather than being swallowed down by babh creating completely heartbreaking pain. No main painful gassiness.☆ Design - come on, who doesn't love a cute little turtle and hearts! Totally recommend! Thank you both MAM and infuenster for giving me this opportunity to test and review this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I wanted these bottles for ease when travelling and outings, I am very impressed with all its features just in one bottle! Firstly, my 4 month old has taken to the teats really well from using size 1 as a newborn and now on size 2. There is no leakage from her mouth when feeding which we have experienced before. The curved shape of the bottle means she can rest her hand on the bottle and begin learning to hold the bottle. When adding formula and shaking the bottle, the teats do no leak. The bottles were really useful when we went away for 1 night and I didn’t want to take any sterilisers, you simply dismatle the bottle, fill with 20ml of water (the bottle lid conveniently has the measurements on it so you can measure the water),put all the parts together and pop it in the microwave. You can put more than one bottle in the microwave which was really useful when I was bulk washing at the end of the day. They are extremely easy to clean as there aren’t any lumps and bumps or deep teat holders. The only downside to this bottle is if you want to put it in a bottle warmer or boiling water to heat up the milk, it does take quite a long time as the bottom of the bottle is really thick to allow you to self sterilise. Overall, I would highly recommend these bottles, they are supurb for taking on holiday with you and being able to self sterilise. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My baby is now 4 months old. She started life off as an exclusively breastfed baby but we soon introduced a bottle to get her used to it in case of emergencies and just because. She took to the bottle well but with the initial ones we used she used to take in so much wind because the teat was so wide. We gave a MAM bottle a try and she took to it absolutely fine. Since I was initially only feeding her one bottle a day, the steriliser was not being used enough to warrant the time and power and thankfully, the MAM bottles were self sterilising. It’s been so handy and especially since we have been on holiday - instead of taking a big bulky steriliser, the bottles just go in the microwave by itself. This is also an advantage when popping over to someone’s house and needing to quickly sterilise the bottles before heading off. Not only has that saved us space, but they have also been a bit of a life saver since my baby has now decided she doesn’t want to breastfeed anymore and luckily, she’s still taking to the bottles. The anti-colic system has been fantastic with helping baby not take as much wind as well. She seems to be a very windy baby and with the air flow helping to reduce the wind taken in, she’s a happier baby. All in all, we have been thankful for MAM bottles! Plus, the designs are so cute!! We love them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These bottles saved my wife and I a lot of pain and misery trying to feed our newborn baby girl, I only wish we had tried them sooner! We spent our first week with our new baby girl going through every brand of bottle we could find, and even tried cheap £1 bottles from the pharmacy but our girl was struggling to feed from all of those with round teats where she had to put her lips over the neck part of it to get milk out. Surprising since she's been very strong since day 1 holding her head up and grasping at things. We were going crazy trying to feed her every hour and she was using up so much energy to get milk out she couldn't rest properly for longer periods.I then picked these up and WOW what a difference. From the very first suck she was getting enough milk out to swallow every time, the shape of the teat just seems to fit with her mouth much better so she's not open super wide like with all the others we tried.I highly recommend these for any newborn baby who is bottle fed from the start (with no breastfeeding) and we will DEFINITELY be using MAM brand bottles going forward. On top of that, the bottles are also designed super well, with the rubber bottom part allowing air to get sucked in as baby drinks, and they are really easy to clean and sterilise in the microwave too.

First bottle I have ever used for my 6 week old and at first my husband did find it very fidgety to self sterile as there are 6 pieces altogether (trying to get him involved in feeding times!). I had to read the instructions a couple of times to make sure he was doing it correctly. When my husband tried to assemble it together, there was leakage but that was down to him not tightening the base enough where the silicone seal goes! However saying this- It is so cool that the base of the bottle unscrews, i have not seen this on any other bottles I have looked at! For the self sterilising feature- It is SO practical for me to take these bottles away on holidays withhout having to pack a whole sterilising kit!(yes I have bought additionals and due to this unique feature i will continue to buy the next sizes up! There are measurements on the bottle lid starting from 10ml. The bottle itself starts measurements from 2oz, so if you need to give your baby any less than 2oz, you can measure it out in the lid itself. The neck of the bottle is quite wide which i love as no spillage when pouring formula inside. #gifted #mamreview #complimentary #influenster [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We recently switched to using MAM bottles from another well known brand. Once we had settled into a 4 hour feed routine our baby needed more milk and more of a flow of milk; these 260ml bottles comes with size 2 teats. I love the grey design and little cuddling penguins. The vented base makes a difference. We had a huge reduction of colic symptoms, and a more contented baby. The size and shape of these bottles fit in ypur hand and feel comfortable when feeding. Less than a third of the bottle as the base is slightly wider with a matte like feel and small inward dots.I've noticed how relaxing my baby is when feeding, she can even manage to support her own bottle for a few minutes at a time.MAM bottles are easy to sterilise in 3 minutes individually,so there's no panic if you forget to run a sterilising cycle with a hungry baby crying in the background. You can, if following instructions, microwave sterilise more bottles at the same time. Best features for me is the whole bottle comes in parts and makes easier to clean. And that these bottles come with the next stage teat instead of the newborn ones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Since baby arrived, we have used a variety of different brands of bottle trying to find a bottle and teat that baby likes. We finally found this in the MAM Easy Start bottles, baby is happy so Mummy and Daddy are happy too!! Our baby made the transition from breast to bottle really well using the MAM Easy Start bottles, he has taken to the teat really quickly and feeds well using these bottles. My favourite feature of these bottles however is that they are self-sterilising. We no longer have to worry about taking extra bottles or a steriliser with us if we go away, the MAM bottles are self-sterilising with the use of a microwave. You just need to dismantle the bottle, add some water and pop in the microwave for a few minutes. It’s so simple, I am surprised more bottle brands don’t offer this; time-saving, easy to use and multi-functional. Plus, the bottles have the anti-colic feature ensuring a smooth, slow feed so baby doesn’t swallow too much air. All the MAM bottles have cute designs and gorgeous colours, so you are spoilt for choice when buying MAM bottles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I had been deliberating as to which bottles to buy my new baby for a while, and i am so pleased I chose MAM. I had received a tester at a baby show and had been really impressed with the self-sterilising feature, making it easy for grandparents etc to use without the need for multiple sterilisers. The bottle are of a good size and quality, and the teats are lovely and soft. From comparing them to other models - Tommee Tippee and Avent, these seem to have an edge. Despite many people saying they were more pricey, I totally think it was worth the extra few pounds. Plus, on Amazon, the price difference was negligible. The unisex design is also a lovely option meaning I can hopefully use these bottles for more than one baby.Although there are great pink and blue options, should you wish to go for a certain theme. I have paired my bottles with the MAM steriliser and the MAM breast pump, which when buying from Amazon were much better price than I had found elsewhere and made them as cheap as the other brands.Overall, I am delighted by the product and will look to purchase again in the future.

I’ve used MAM bottles through two children now and I’ve always been a huge fan. Both children have taken to them so easily (the first after breastfeeding), I love how they come come apart so you can get a really good clean, and the self sterilising feature in the microwave is absolutely brilliant - I don’t worry too much about running out of bottles while out and about as I can easily pop into a cafe and sterilise one of needs be. The penguin design has to be my favourite. I’ve had pink ones for my daughter and blue ones for my son but had my eye on grey for a while. Who doesn’t love penguins?! Lovely unisex design. If I had to be really picky my only flaw would be that there could be a little extra room in the top.We only use 8oz of the 9oz capacity but once we add the powder it’s pretty full. I’m not sure how an extra oz of water plus scoop of powder would fit in without a shake half way through adding the powder. I’ve already been recommending MAM to anyone who asks for the last 4 years and I’m not about to stop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

These are probably the best bottles invented ever! My baby who is combination fed accepted only the MAM bottles and is able to make a switch from breast to bottle and vice versa without any trouble. I also love the fact that with these bottles I dont need a big bulky steriliser as they can be self sterilised in the microwave- they are also sterile for 48 hours. Its very easy to dismantle the bottle and set it up to sterilise. TIP- the lid has liquid volumes set out so you can easily measure out the requires water volume in order to sterilise. As a busy mum its great saving time and not having to descale a steriliser and also not having to store a bulky steriliser in my already small kitchen counter. The wide neck opening and the screw on bottom make cleaning the bottles a doddle and it takes almost no effort. I find that i dont actually need a special bottle brush and can just use a normal sponge that i have set aside just for bottle washing. MAM bottles come in various fun designs and 4 different colours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
