We bought several types of bottles for our baby and found this to work the best. The flow rate of the size 1 teat was perfect for our daughter until she was around 3 months. The size 2 seemed to drown her in milk before 3 months!Very easy to clean, however there are 6 pieces to the bottle so does take an age to clean when you have more than one to clean up.The self sterilisation is a great idea and great for when out and about. Be warned however, the bottle gets EXTREMELY hot when you sterilise in the microwave - best to leave for a few mins before picking up, unless you have asbestos fingers or oven gloves. We also have found that we have had to put the microwave on the medium setting as when setting it to high, the teat pops out and makes an ulmighty bang. You then have to burn your fingers to put the bottle back together again.Great bottles for not getting too much air. You can hear the rubber seal working when baby is sucking. Our baby has not had any issues at all with the trapped wind because of the bottle. 1 good burp after a feed does the trick. If you have the patience to clean the bottles and invest in an electric / microwave steriliser, I would say this is a good purchase. The teats are great for baby - no problems with combined feeding, changing from breast to teat.

I bought these bottles as my daughter was really struggling with wind and throwing up. I had previously tried her on Dr B's, ToTi and Av***. I felt hopeless, until a friend recommended these MAM bottles. Having used them for a while, I could not recommended them enough! Not only has it stopped my daughters wind issues, she is no longer sick after every feed! These bottles are fantastic when going out, we have been able to sterilise a bottle at relitives houses which saves talking loads of bottles or a massive steriliser with us.The dummy in this set is fab. The ones we had previously would not stay in her mouth. This MAM dummy is the perfect shape and my daughter can keep it in her mouth. She is no longer getting frustrated. The only thing I have noticed with the size one teat is that when my daughter sucks, she can't keep the suction on the teat so it makes a noise when the suction is lost, however she does have a really strong suck and I'm going to look at moving up to the size 2 teat to see if that is the issue. This sucking issue does not affect her feeding at all. These bottles are great! Well worth the money!

We had to start mix feeding from when our baby was two weeks old. I did a lot of research on bottle, the MAM bottles seemed to have really good reviews so I went for them and four months on I'm really glad I did.Firstly they are so simple to use, the self-sterilising aspect is genius, all you need is a microwave, no need for bulky equipment taking up space in you kitchen or faffing around with boiling water or solution. Secondly the fact that each bottle is made up of six different parts means that you can make sure that they are properly clean as it's easy to get into all the nooks and crannies. Finally my baby took to these bottles straight away and there have been no issues with continuing to breastfeed alongside.Since I've been using them it's the brand that gets positively mentioned by lots of other mums I know when the whole subject about starting on bottles comes up, I myself recommend these bottles. If you have to or choose to bottle feed your baby this started set covers all your needs and the MAM bottle certainly live up to the hype in my opinion.

Marketing is great with new mummies! I have been given Avent, MAM, NUK, Tommee Tippee etc. bottles, for free, when purchasing other items or as part of welcome packs. I also bought Dr Brown’s myself as my baby was suffering with colic. The truth is, i immediately prefered the design of the MAM bottles but wanted the best for my baby regardless. As someone who did both breastfeeding and bottle I would definitely recommend MAM bottles. I had mastitis and not much milk production after giving birth to a prem baby by emergency Caesarian. My baby never stopped wanting to suck on the breast even when using these bottles. When we switched to Aptamil Comfort due to colic,we were advised to switch the teat too to number 2 and it definitely made a difference where in other brands it just caused the feed to be messy. Sterilising is easy and they are also self sterilising. Very cute bottles too with different designs and colours. At the end we decided that MAM bottles were keeping her happy, best and quicker feeds and also less wind and burping!

Not sure on the Anti-Colic feature as we never tried any different bottles to see if they made a difference, however our son was in NICU for a month and quickly became used to the hospital teats. Upon getting him home, we struggled to get him to take any other teats, after trying numerous recommended teats, he took these first try!!! Highly recommend these bottles as we're still using 10 months on and they seem to have taken the regular washing, sterilising and ordinary wear and tear extremely well, quality made and much better than other leading brands out there! These do seem slightly pricier, however I would buy these for any future children also!.Just one slightly disadvantage for us was the anti-colic feature of screw-top and bottom made for easy cleaning, however we found they would sometimes let it small amounts of water when submerging in cold water to rapid cool! However, this wasn't a huge flaw for us as we invested in a perfect prep machine, and the matter was quickly solved!! Superb product x

I bought these bottles after my little girl had awful reflux. We were getting through over 10 sleepsuits a day sometimes! We tried various other big brands (one being such a faff to take apart and clean all the little bits) and we then bought MAM and have stuck ever since!I actually combi fed her as a newborn, and use these bottles. Although we stopped breastfeeding quite soon after, she took to these bottles straight away and there was no confusion between breast and bottle.Although they didn’t eliminate her colic/reflux as she had a milk allergy we later found out, these bottles definitely worked the best in reducing the amount of crying and sick ups we had.Really easy to sterilise as you can pop them in the microwave, the only bit I dislike is the white plastic parts on the bottle bottom. They’re a bit of a pain to clean all the creases sometimes, but that’s a very minor issue.I’ve bought a few sets of these for my next little girl due next month, too. So glad I found them!

I LOVE mam bottles! First of all they are gorgeous to look at! The design is perfect for my little girl! The teat on these bottles is a great shape and fits perfectly into my baby's mouth without letting air in, helping to prevent excess wind. These bottles are really easy to sterilise either in a sterilising machine or individually in the microwave (really handy if you are out at someone's house!).I bought these originally because my baby suffered badly with trapped wind and these bottles definitely seem to have helped. I was using tommee tippee originally. Some people have complained that these bottles leak - I have NEVER had a problem with that. You just need to ensure they are screwed together properly.A great little starter set.The only downside is the fact that there are only 4 bases and valves so you can only have 4 bottles on the go at once.

MAM Anti-Colic Self-Sterilising Bottle Starter Kit is a great piece of kit for all new dads and mothers. Every parents knows how much of a pain in the backside it can be to wash all your bottles up and then have to sterilise them but with these you can do it as you go. The MAM products are a good range we was introduced to them at the Baby show in the Excel where they gave out a free bottle. We tried that with our newborn son who loved it compared to other bottles and teats. Now we only give him exclusively MAM bottles as these are what he really seems to love and this set is great for all different size bottles. The anti-colic feature has helped no end. When we had began to give him a bottle over the breast he had a lot of colic and we had to use infacol quite a bit, touch wood since using these MAM Anti-Colic bottles we haven't had to so far.

Great starter set for baby!! We started with Tommee tippee bottles for our little boy but were advised to change by our midwife as he was small and the teats were too much work for him to drink from. After switching to Mam bottles I noticed a big difference, the teats are a great size for small mouths and their flexibility makes them much easier to suck. This set contains enough to start you off but once we moved on to the 5oz bottles we purchased a different set as there are only 2 of this size included. There are little caps in this pack that can be added to the lids once the teats are removed which lets you use the bottle as a container, we use ours to store dummies. The self sterilising function is brilliant,3 minutes in the microwave plus cooling time and you're ready to go.Would highly recommend trying these bottles!

Just received our bottles and given our little man his first feed, we love them! Definitely worth £20. We've found that most MAM products seem to work very well. Our baby also uses the MAM dummies. The bottles themselves come in 5 parts - the teat, the lid, the bottle and a 2 piece screw on bottom, which is vented to prevent build up of air. The box comes with 4 lids, 4 teats, 4 bottoms and 8 bottles in 3 different sizes. My baby found it very easy to latch on to the teat. I should also mention that I mix feed, breastfeeding most of the time and giving a couple of bottles during the day and he has no problem doing either with these bottles. We tried him on tommee tippee, but the milk spilled on him all the time and caused very bad wind. Overall these are perfect, you won't be disappointed.

These bottles are very good quality. My baby likes drinking from them and it seems he feeds better from these than other brand. He also does not get colicky and spits up less. What I like about them:-baby feeds well and does not suffer from colic-self sterilizing function is brilliant and easy to use (you need to follow instructions carefully not to damage bottles)- you can sterilize in an electric sterylizer (I use Tommee Tippee)What I don't like about this set:- There are only 4 bases with valves and tops with teats and you have 8 bottles. This means you can only use 4 bottles.-I could not get additional bases and tops for teats so had to buy additional bottles in order to get more attachments as I wanted to use the smaller bottles for tea etc.Very disappointed about this.

I really liked this set of bottles. There are small, medium and large bottles so suitable as your baby grows. We are now on he large bottles as my baby is taking 6 oz. They are sturdy and come apart for easy cleaning. They are said to help prevent colic and although my baby didn't suffer from this, it has helped her not take in too much air during feeding. The teat are also flatter than other bottles I have used. My baby was quite small when born and has been bottle fed so the tear size was ideal and she has never had a problem drinking from them.Although I have not done it, they can be sterilised in the microwave. (I use a electric steriliser)I am going away next week so will sterilise that way to save myself taking a big steriliser with me so that is a benefit.

After having a child who suffered very badly with colic and wind issues I researched for a long time which bottles to use for my second baby. I kept on seeing reviews for these and thought I’d give them a go. I can honestly say I am not disappointed. They have been amazing. My baby brings up his wine great and there has been issue with colic at all. The self sterilising feature is amazing when you are out and forget to take spare bottles with you, they sterilise in 3 minutes in the microwave. The set has been great to move up to bigger sized bottles when need be. We have the mam microwave steriliser too for at home where we store the bottles. I cannot recommend enough mam bottles!!

Have found the MAM bottles the best, wish we had got them to start with!We have been using them with our 3 month old on the size 1 teat and she switches between these and breastfeeding okay. Easy to clean and can be self sterilised (i.e. you can microwave them without needing any other sterilising equipment), easier than 'normal' bottles as you can take them completely apart and don't need a bottle brush. However I don't often use the 'self sterilising' as you can only do one at a time (which is what you're meant to do) but you end up trying to lift a boiling hot bottle out of the microwave with water precariously in the bottom unsealed.Good starter kit
