Two years ago, I never would have thought I'd say something like 'this is my favourite bottle brush' but two babies later and here I am. By my estimation I've had to go through close to 2,000 bottle washings and I've tried seven or eight different kinds of bottle brush. If I've achieved something in life, it's becoming a thoroughly efficient baby bottle washer.I have problems with a lot of brushes. They're too thin. They're flimsy. The bristles are too far apart etc. Anything that makes my cleaning harder is a no-no. This brush makes my cleaning much easier. The sponge at the top makes sure the bottom of the bottle is clean and also helps reduce the amount of washing liquid I'm using. It's got the brilliant and added effect of forcing liquid out of the teat when you push it into the bottle top, which is great for making sure that the teat is super clean before sterilising for your newborn. The bristles are at quite a high density, which make it easy to clean the bottle sides. The base is useful in my crowded kitchen. Now, onto the negatives. Two minor ones that don't stop this from being the best brush by far that I've encountered:1) The brush eventually breaks. It's inevitable. After close to a month, the metal holding the bristles weakens and slowly but surely the metal breaks. If it breaks through the plastic wire-case first, then it rusts very quickly and is not usable or it'll last for a few more days. This means that it can get a little expensive replacing the brushes every month but for me it's totally worth it and I haven't encountered a brush without this problem2) The teat cleaner at the end is quite thin and thin-ended which means if you're a bit vigorous like me and you're using it to clean teats, it's not difficult to break through the teat, ruining it. So use it with a little care. I rarely have to use it anyway because of the sponge.Very highly recommended.

Ease of use:Previous to using this brush I had used normal brush cleaners in an effort to get bottles clean. I found the very bottom of the bottle was left and it would take some time to get all the residue out using formula milk. As any parent knows it's difficult sometimes to get cleaning with a crying or hungry baby. This brush is certainly easy to use; good grip handle, light, and easy on the hands. The sponge at the bottom gives a quick thorough clean and the soft bristles on the brush mean they don't necessarily scratch the bottles but will remove stubborn milk. As I use breast milk and comfort milk (which is incredibly greasy in texture afterwards)I found this brush cleans all the remnants and I don't have to wash my equipment twice.Affordability:I first heard of the Dr Brown's range has been described as an affordable range for babies with colic. The brush is certainly affordable and top quality that's made to last. Certainly a good product that will endure a lot of cleaning.Compatibilty:I don't own any other Dr Brown's products but I found the brush fit nicely with my medela and Saintsbury's bottles. The soft silicone end also fit nicely into the medela calma teats.Pros:Excellent compatibility with other ranges.Light and easy to use.Silicone texture means less damage to bottles.Sponge at the bottom means a spotless clean. The brush comes with a stand- easy to clean and dry.Size is good for both smaller and bigger bottles alike.Cons:Costs slightly more than normal bottle cleaners BUT worth every penny in my opinion as the products retain less damage and will last longer.

I've had three of these brushes now and never had an issue with it bending, snapping or falling apart like other reviewers have commented, and me and my husband both use it vigorously. I've even bought it from different suppliers. I think it depends where on the handle you hold it, I tend to hold the whole handle and then have my index finger on the wire twisted stem too so I can get enough force and vigour. The brush always lasts several months for us with just one wash up of several bottles at the end of the day. My only slight complaint is that with standard neck bottles the foam can be a bit stiff and bulky to get easily through the bottle neck, but it does protect the bottom of the bottle well from scratching from the end of the twisted wire stem so I'm not complaining too much. And it's the best bottle brush I've found; we've used lots of different ones.

I love this bottle brush and this is actually the second one I’ve bought. With an exclusive formula fed baby I’m constantly washing bottles. The first one I bought lasted 6 months with multiple daily use until finally the top part of the brush snapped off. I wasn’t surprised when this happen seeing how much I use it. So I bought another. It really gets into all the little spots of bottles and the narrow parts of the bottle nipples. I suspect this would even be a very good brush to use with things like delicate glassware (wine glasses etc) however since I use mine for bottles I don’t like the idea of using it on anything else at the moment. Would recommend and will probably be buying again!

I love this brush. It is perfect for wine glasses..I think this is why Dr Browns sell this item, not for baby bottles but for parents wine glasses. At the end of a long day, baby in bed, you want to settle down to a large glass of vino and for your baby to sleep for 12 hours. To help you think they slept 12 hours you need wine and quite often a lot of it!So, this brush is perfect for getting the stubborn red wine stains out of glasses without scratching them. It leaves them gleaming every time and ready to use again the following evening.Of course you could just resort to drinking from the bottle, however this is frowned upon when friends with no children visit!

Great bottle brush, makes cleaning bottles and baby products so much easier.Wanted a separate brush to clean the babies stuff to keep it clean and sterile and not get cross contaminated and this was perfect. Fits in all the bottle brands I’ve tried. The brush is great, the bristles in the body and the sponge in the end mean you can get everything clean, in all the nooks and crannies and the other end there is a little cleaner to clean bottle tears which is really handy.Really easy to use and the little suction stand so can suction it to the side and stand it up where it is easy to reach is really useful!Overall would recommend!

Honestly this is the only brush you'll need for cleaning baby bottles. I have been cleaning bottles for my baby for 7 months now and I have tried many many different brushes (including ones from Amazon, or other high street shops) and it's never been able to clean as well. The sponge at the bottom of this brush cleans every last residue of milk/formula from the corner of the bottles (especially Tommie tippee with the wide base). The suction stand actually works and stays stable. The end of the brush comes with teat cleaner and it fits the teats snugly so you get a good clean finish. Absolutely love this brush

I really like this bottle brush as it comes with the suction holder which helps to stand and dry out after each use and you can clean inside the bottle teats with it too but, if you are bottle feeding your little one and clean 5-6 bottles every day, you do need to replace this brush every 10-12 weeks I would say, as the bristles start to shrink and become less effective. That being said, it could be because I use very hot water to wash up with. I have bought another one and will replace it like-for-like again in the future.

I bought this to use for cleaning out a flask. It works brilliantly and after I have used it I just pop it in the top drawer of the dishwasher and it comes out spotless.I have not used it on babies bottles but I would imagine it would work just as well. It is also handy for using to clean out long/tall narrow glasses. It has a suction cup at the bottom so you could stand it up on the counter. It is well made and certainly robust. I would highly recommend it as a quality product that is very useful indeed.

A must to keep your Dr Brown's bottles and equipment clean and fresh, one end has the sponge and hard brush and the other a teat cleaner, it also comes with a sucker pad to stick to your kitchen drainer, then your brush can sit in it, which keeps it clear of the dirt and grime, making sure it's as hygienically clean as it could possibly be. Yes it's a bit more expensive than some, but it's very well designed and works well with the Dr Brown's range.

I love that this brush has a sponge tip for scrubbing the bottle and I love that the teat cleaner is on the end of the brush. I have rejected other similar brushes because there is no sponge tip, or the teat cleaner is separate, or the brush/teat cleaner has to be suspended by a hook when not in use, or the teat cleaner is stored inside the brush handle, which I think is a breeding ground for germs. This brush is expensive but I always buy it.

This is the best bottle brush I have found after 7 months of trying various brands. It might be that I am very hard on bottle brushes, but this is the only one that has lasted more than a few weeks without shedding bristles or distorting to a point where it is scratching, rather than cleaning bottles. The sponge at the end makes cleaning the bottom of brushes easy, and the stand means it is kept safe and clean. Thoroughly recommend.

Saw some negative reviews so was sceptical about this but haven't had any problems. It's practical, gets right to the bottom of the 240ml bottles and can get into the blue straw thing as well as the teat.I also found it great for doing champagne flutes and wine glasses.I've had mine 4 months and it still works brilliantly. Don't think it will last a year but for £3ish, that's ok. I will buy another one when it breaks!

This brush us the best I've used, great with dr browns bottles(which worked the best for our baby to) very useful tool. I like to put mine in the splash back so that the item dries over the draining board without the sucker collecting drips. The only thing I can say as a con is the sponge part lasts only a month or so before it starts to fall apart , so buy two at a time because they need replacing fairly regularly.

I have been using this brush for a long time, this is a repeat purchase. The sponge helps clean the bottles without scratching it and the bristles are soft but effective in cleaning the bottles before sterilization. It has a bit of pattern at the bottom of the handle to clean nipples, maybe thats meant to be effective, hasn't worked well with me though so I use the brush from the Munchkin brush for the nipples.
