When my son was newborn he really liked to suck. However, he refused to suck a dummy. I tried every single kind available in shops in the UK - Mam, Nuk, Mothercare, Boots, Tesco, you name it. He went crazy every time I tried. A friend of mine was given some of these by an American friend and her baby was loving it. As I hadn't tried this type I thought I'd give them a go and bought these. They have been a huge success from day one. I think the teat is smaller and softer so it doesn't feel like a lump of plastic in their little mouths. It is also so sweet to see their little mouth working.I don't know if this is my baby or the dummies but he is not as obsessed with his dummy as some babies are.I can take it off him and he doesn't mind at all, no screaming fits. It could be something to do with how soft these are. Or it might be nothing to do with it at all!The postage was a bit high - it was more than the cost of the dummies and they are hardly heavy, nor did they come quickly! - however I no longer care as I have a quiet, calm baby.

I LOVE these dummies, or rather my son does. We got given one of these dummy's in the form of a Wubbanub, which is this dummy attatched to a soft toy. I tried every type of dummy for my son who liked to suck to soothe on my breast, but I suffered from cracked and sore nipples due to his tongue tie so couldn't leave him on my breast for long periods, so this dummy came in as a life saver. when he was sleepy i'd remove my breast and slip the dummy in and he wouldn't even flinch! He can't keep other dummies in his mouth and now won't accept anything other than his soothie. they do look odd as you can see them sucking and its quite large and round so covers quite a lot of a small babies face, but i think its worth it. these are from America so the postage is a bit expensive and takes a while, so my advice would be to buy two! i only got one to start and had to order another one incase he ever lost it. a great dummy, well worth the price.

These are wonderful. We purchased these when we noticed another style of pacifier that we were using would get water trapped within the mouthpiece after cleaning (yuck). This particular soother is impossible to get water trapped. They actually did smell like vanilla originally when we purchased them, which I'm not sure if it made a difference to our little one or not but it certainly smelled delicious to us! After having washed them many many times, the smell is no longer there but they still work nonetheless. We've been using these for over 3 months, and they're still in great condition and perfect for soothing our little one when nothing else works. As a bonus, its hilarious to see the inside of your babies mouth while they're sucking!

I can't recommend these highly enough. We didn't want to use a dummy with our baby due to hearing so much about dummies damaging teeth etc.but these are specifically designed not to change the mouth shape or teeth of your child. We use the dummies sparingly but have found them very good. They are made completely of quite a soft rubber which allows the dummy to be chewed easily and the mouthpiece to conform to your babies mouth shape. They also seem to sooth our child very quickly so she ends up letting the dummy drop out of her mouth after a few minutes. Our friends were using regular dummies but have recently changed, after seeing how our child was with these, and have reported that it was the best thing they ever did.

Our daughter loves this pacifier. She refused all the others that we buy for her but this one she refused only at the beginning probably because she is breastfeed only and i introduced pacifier when she was 6 weeks -tiny little baby. After we try 2 more times, she took it for few minutes and each time she take it for longer periods of time. Now she is happily munching and spending time alone without problem having some alone time. She is looking for it after feeding in day time and she will be content with us having a cuddle before nap, as before she would be spending hours on end nursing. i would recommend this product to parents. Give it a go,maybe your little one is gonna love it like our does.

My breastfed baby really likes to suck, particularly to sleep, but sometimes it's just not possible to have her sucking on me - for example on a walk! She couldn't work out how to suck other dummies but she got these straight away. I take it out once she's stopped crying or has fallen asleep -that's if she doesn't let it fall out of her mouth herself, which she often does - but until then she is really happy sucking on it. It seems a more natural shape for a breastfed baby to suck on. We've had the dummy since she was about six weeks and are very happy with it, however apparently will need to stop or find another type once she starts getting teeth as these aren't orthodontic.

Excellent dummies. Bought them after reading reviews for the best dummy for breastfeeding mum's. Only make we have tried, our baby took to it straight away and it was funny to see the baby's mouth through the centrepiece.I think they are an American design and after buying from USA I was very pleased to see I could then source them in the UK.A family member who is a children's nurse commented when she saw it that the design is widely used in hospitals for ill and premature babies.Highly recommend the Soothie dummies - our son has never been addicted to the dummies and we found they were also very helpful when he is teething. He stopped using them around 14 months old.

Fantastic item, we heard about these on a few baby forum so and thought we would try them. We did not know that they were going to be sent from the USA! This sort of added to the exclusivity feel about them. We had tried a few other soothers but our several week old baby would not accept them. She took to this straight away. They are chunkier than the dummies you find in shops now but maybe this is why they work. They give these out in hospitals in the USA so there is your significant market and medical backing!I would recommend them to anyone who has a baby that likes to suckle. Ours is also teething early and she likes this item to chew on also!

I’ve got twins who were a little premature and I was advised giving them dummies would help with their feeding. There doesn’t seem to be any nipple confusion so the dummies must be a fairly natural shape and feel (unless my babies aren’t bothered). Easy to clean and good quality. The only annoying thing I’ve found is that when you’re trying to attach them to your baby so they don’t get lost, not many clips are compatible. Also they often come out of my babies’ mouths. I’ve got no experience with dummies so I don’t know if that’s normal, if it’s something to do with how my babies suck or if it’s the shape of the dummy. It is very frustrating though.

Sadly did not suit my son but that's not to say it won't suit any baby. To be honest my son has struggled with all types of different dummies since birth as he struggled 1 to keep them in his mouth. My 18 month old seemed to like this dummy more but then again he like any type of pacifier. He kept stealing them of his little brother. I don't put this down to a product fault but more a "not one suits all" type of problem. The product itself seems good and there are no faults with this as I can see. It looks good quality and seems safe to use. Its a shame it did not suit my youngest so I could provide you with more information on this product.

Amazing product. My exclusively breast fed 6week old refused all brands of UK dummy's (literally every brand you could think of) after reading reviews on here I decided to give these a go. They are worth every penny they are nipple shaped and super soft feeling, my son took to them instantly. After seeing these dummy's it's no wonder my son wouldn't take conventional UK dummy's they are not nipple shaped and quite hard. I really couldn't recommend these any more. I only shocked that the UK shops don't sell them

I was recommended these by a friend and told they were the 'go to' for breastfed babies due to the shape of the teat. After trying 8 different brands and these were my last ditch attempt (sleepless nights and days were taking there toll!) & they didn't disappoint! My little girl took to them straight away even at 5 months old. They're easy to clean as they are one piece and nice colours, if a little large for a small baby.I would definitely recommend these to parent's struggling with acceptance of a dummy.

Purchased these dummies for a baby suffering with colic having researched this and found these dummies are used in hospital for premature and sick bsbies. As they are all silicone the dummy is soft and she tolerates this one where as others we have tried she rejected straight away, she is now teething and use the dummy to chew on, tethers are too big for her to use at the moment so dummy to e rescue. If like is your reluctant to use a dummy but need to try one I would highly recommend giving these a go.

Having a reflux baby, doctors advised giver her a dummy as it would help to soothe her throat and keep her milk down! I thought it would be as giving it to her! But no, she spat every off the shelf brand out!She would only take a bottle teat and this helped her improve her symptoms but we got funny looks from strangers while we were out!I decided to give these a go and from the very first time I gave it to her she took it and went straight to sleep!A very happy baby and a very happy mum!

My daughter is extremely fussy and picky about her dummies but she accepted these almost immediately. The fact that it is all one piece is great for washing and sterilising but it is very important to always buy the right size for your baby. As they get bigger you HAVE to buy the next size up or they can run the risk of sucking the whole soother into their mouth. The product comes with warnings about this and you would be a fool to ignore it.
