The carrier has many adjustments in the way it can be fitted. It is difficult to make these with the rack on the roof trying to fit the tandem and make adjustments all at the same time, I found it better eventually to take it off and fit it to the tandem upside down on the ground, Then the positions can be found and tightened up so when it is then removed and fitted to the roof rails it is ready to take the tandem. It was sturdier than I expected and the tandem does not move about much. Be careful if fitting to an estate as if too far back it can foul the tailgate when it is lifted. Because of that I had to fit it with the tandem facing backwards. A decent buy at the price.
