Jacket is Gore Tex Paclite so exactly what it says on the tine. Gore Tex will keep you dry on the inside and stop wind so takes the chill off whilst still keeping a regulated temperature.I used this for a Welsh 3000 challenge in June consisting of a 36 mile hike over 15 mountains and different terrains. I kept the jacket on most of the time as was comfortable in the hot and cool weather. I could make a very small roll and stuff in my bag when it was too hot. Good for summer months.
