First of all - it works. Very well indeed. I used it for facial waxing, and it hardly irritated my skin at all - the slight redness has already gone half an hour later, without having to use ice or powder to soothe it. (Caveat: other people's skin will vary.) But I have learned a lot in my first attempt at using the wax! Of course, these hints won't all apply to other parts of the body.1. It took 2.5 minutes in the microwave on high before it reached the consistency of runny honey, after being stirred. The upper part can appear nice and runny while the lower part is still very stiff, so stirring and re-heating is essential.2. Wear disposable gloves. Removing bits of wax from under my fingernails was very tedious.3.For facial waxing, cut the long paper strips into smaller pieces in advance, so that you have a fresh, non-sticky, piece for each section of waxing.4. If you will be leaning over the wash-hand basin to peer into the mirror as you wax, fill it with cold water first, so that drips of wax will "set" in the water and can be lifted out, rather than stick to the enamel of the basin from which they will have to be scraped off.5. The tiny phial of blue oil which comes with the wax is effective at removing any remaining wax from the skin (although not so good on nails, basin, clothing etc.); but the vegetable (rapeseed) oil which I always have in the kitchen was just as effective, and will be very much cheaper.5. Wear a plasticised apron, from which the wax can be wiped or scraped later - fortunately I have one in the house which I rarely use, which will now come in handy. I dripped some wax on my T-shirt, which is now soaked with oil in an attempt to remove it, and I doubt whether the oil stain will ever come out in the wash. I don't intend to destroy a T-shirt at every waxing! But overall I am very pleased with this wax, and will certainly continue to use it.

In these times where most places are closed, including salons, some of us (ladies and men) are getting far more hairy than we would like!! So I decided to purchase this. It is a very good product to use and is very effective at removing the wax. PLEASE be careful when you use this as the wax can get VERY hot and I would strongly recommend doing a small patch test on the inside of your wrist, particularly if you have sensitive skin. When heating the wax I initially checked the wax in the microwave every 30 secs just to be on the safe side but it DID take about 2 mins to heat the wax but I would keep an eye as the last thing you need is to be cleaning a pot of wax from your microwave that hasexploded!!I would suggest doing a small patch test each time you use this as you cannot tell how hot the wax is and I would hate for someone to end up in A&E with 3rd degree burns. However, this product is very good for removing wax and I would recommend.FYI I would only really use this for small areas such as lip or chin as trying to do a larger area I would think I would get in a right, sticky mess. I put a tea-towel across my chest over clothing to 'catch' any drops of wax and instead of using the lotion that came with the pot I just used some Savlon. The area (lip/chin) was quite pink afterwards but I was VERY pleased with the result and am no longer worried that I may have to enrol as our local bearded lady by the time lock-down is finally over!!! Good Luck...

After a 10 year absence i have finally found a wax that works. around 10 years ago or maybe longer the only wax that worked on my thick strong hair was discontinued. i have been walking around with hairy arms for this length of time and recently discovered epilation but i find it more painful than waxing and the results can look quite bumpy. this wax is more expensive but it comes with loads of strips, more than ive evr seen in any product. the high street is absolutely full of products that call themselves wax but are in fact sugar based and do not work. before buying this one i checked on amazon and the ingredients were resin. sugar based wax will often have the word sucrose or similar words at the top of the ingredients list.anyone who says this wax is really sticky has obviously never used a resin based wax before, they are all like this. use cooking oil afterwards to rub off the sticky residue as water will not work. it is impossible to pull the strip off without the hair being removed alongside, which often happens with sugar based 'waxes'.

I am in love with Parissa Products. The quality is very good and they are gentle on the skin. The results are durable and overall they are easy to use. I gave this product (warm wax microwaveable) on the "Easy to use" rate only 4 stars because I have to re-warm it on the microwave quite often while using it. I would gladly buy the Parissa Wax Warmer suitable for the EU but the delivery from Canada is too expensive and I have not been able to find it here on Amazon yet. I have tried other well known wax brands, but so far Parissa works much better on my skin. Moreover, the ingredients are natural. So I will definitively continue buying. Plus, delivery times from Amazon are very good, and I am also very satisfied with the customer service on the Parissa Webpage. I am a happy Parissa customer :)

After a debate discussing pain tolerance levels between men & women, we decided to purchase this in a battle of the sex's. And it's actually a very good buy!It removed all the hair in one whip of the strip straight off my fellas torso & I found out he owned nipples. (who knew)A little unfair on the challenge, as my chest was already hairless but still a great buy to watch him squirm through his tears as he suggests that the procedure is effortless & painless. However he bailed when it was time for the back sack & crack. But there's plenty left for another dayIt is messy like most wax products but it's got easy to follow instructions & is simple to use even for beginners.Absolutely recommended5*

Due to desperate measures during lockdown I used this to wax both my lower legs and chin. Results were amazing, it is very easy to use and instructions are easy to follow. I did keep heating up the wax every few mins to ensure it was runny, the runnier the wax, the thinner the layer, the better the result. I am an experienced waxer but usually go to the salon for this so this may not be for those not used to waxing (it removes every hair!) as it can be painful but I will be buying this again as I found it to suit my needs perfectly. You get what you pay for!

This is the first time I’ve waxed my own brows, usually get them done professionally but this isn’t an option with the lock-down. Thought I’d try this out and wow I’m impressed. You get so much wax and paper for how much you pay it’s such good value for money. The wax is easy to use and the oil it comes with is great to help clean up if you’re new to waxing like me. My skins very sensitive and this did cause redness but almost all brow treatments do for me other than that it’s gentle and caused no irritation. I now have lovely brows again!

I have used a few different brands and I prefer this above all. First time order, it does take a few trials to get it right as the wax gets very very liquid when heated up (others I have used stay quite thick).- important to keep surfaces clean as wax is hard to get off (non water soluble, can only be removed with oil)- i used coconut oil on my skin afterwards, as not sure of quality of oil which came in the packaging.- good amount of strips to use- removes hair well (if wax coated thinly and strip pulled off correctly)

I had tried a “no strip wax” previous that was absolutely terrible and Amazon sent me this one in exchange. It works very well for an at home product and one tub was enough to do both legs and both underarms, with a little left over. I recommend having a bowl of hat water on hand to help keep the wax liquid as it cooled very quickly. The oil provided for cleaning up any wax left behind worked perfectly and also helped soothe my skin. Overall I was happy and will likely purchase again.

This is hands down the best wax I’ve ever used, I can’t recommend it enough! It warms up in about a minute or so, and is so easy to apply. The package comes with a lot of the wax strips, which is amazing, although it only has a few spatulas (not an issue to me, I ordered a pack of 100 lolly sticks from amazon as they are the perfect size to apply brow wax). The tub is fairly big and a little goes a long way, so it will be lasting me for a good while. Amazing value, amazing quality.

I've spent years going to beauty salons and I've spent far too much money on waxing. I decided to try and save myself some money by home waxing. This is by far the best waxing product I've come across (miles better than Veet). The wax is of a professional quality; the only downside being it's not water based, it's incredibly sticky so you'll need to be careful with it. I'm very impressed with the results. I also use Deo spatulas, they come in various sizes and they're great too!

Love this product, so easy to use, I only need it for my eyebrows bought it ages ago but just used. (They were so overgrown furloughed during lockdown I left them) So easy just heated in the microwave for one minute on the hair and whip off. My eyebrows are tattooed already so I just place the wax around the shape. Not sure how I’d get on free hand but gonna save me money as I’ll just do them at home now.

I have had my legs waxed in a salon for years but have had to train up hubby due to lockdown. A full pot was enough to wax half my legs. It did a pretty good job removing the hair but the wax thickened quickly and had to be reheated several times. I would say this is a two person job. I would buy this product again but am considering buying a melting post which may give better value for money long term.

Good:- it is able to get rid of the smallest hairs and to leave the skin really soft and Clean.- The texture is smooth.- the smell is not great but you won't notice it.- you can warm it up in the microwave.- it comes with a oil to Clean yourself up after waxing.Bad: it is really small and I only manage to wax half legs and half arms.- it get cold easily. Will definitely buy again!

This wax is better than others that I have purchased in the past. You just need to get used to "self-waxing" as you can end up with sticky fingers but that's with any home waxing kit. Keeps hair away for upto 2 weeks. Also love the fact that you don't have to keep reheating..2 mins in the microwave and the wax stays at the consistency you need for ample time.
