Loved using this backpack for our first trip to Europe! We went to Paris, Versailles and London etc. I had no safety issues with my belongings and felt comfortable in the subways and crowded attractions. I especially loved the fact that I could attach my purse and lock it to chairs, fence posts and my bike! I was also shocked at how much I could fit into it! Each day I had maps, my large wallet, extra shoes, gloves, water bottles, snacks, my toiletries bag and even at times my down coat (squishy). Highly recommend this bag for travel!My only complaint would be that it takes a long time to open and then re-close and lock up the bag. When shopping in a market etc having to take those few extra minutes when there’s a line behind you was a bit annoying.

I ordered three different backpacks with the following in mind, in order of importance to me:-safety features that would prevent theft-big enough to fit my small, mirrorless camera and two lenses-small enough that I could take it through most museums (most have strict size restrictions)This backpack meets all those needs. As some have pointed out, this backpack is a pain in the ass to get into. But isn't that the point if you want a backpack that prevents theft?? I won't need to get in it so much that this will be a problem for me. The things I need most frequently (chap stick, tissues, hand sanitizer) fit in the small front pocket which is unsecured. VERY cute bag. One MAJOR problem. The STRAPS are WAY too long!!! As many reviewers said about the regular size citysafe CX, the same is true about this mini version. Way too long and hangs way too low. I’m 5’4” small frame. I ordered the regular size and sent it back hoping this mini would be better. I ended up shortening the straps by shoving the padded strap part through the buckle by about 3-4”. Don’t ask me how it did that. It took a lot of wrestling bc obv the padded part is not supposed to go through the buckle. That’s the only way I could shorten it enough to use it. I really like this bag and didn’t want to send it back. This is my 2nd PacSafe bag.

I purchased the Mini Packsafe and the large Packsafe backpack for our trip to France this past summer. I loved both but the Mini is perfect for a day pack. I used it all over France! It was large enough to pack in water bottles, snacks, a scarf or tour book, wallet, phone sunscreen and more. I loved the security features for the main pocket. I never once felt nervous even in busy crowds in the middle of Paris! Highly recommended. Its cute, stylish and also very functional! Even my 12 YO would take turns wearing it. I'm petite and it fit great.I ended up using the Large Packsafe on the airplane ride over and back. Because I had to carry on more for not just myself, but also my kids I wanted more space.

I purchased the color Storm only because I didn't like the shinny fabric and the gold hardware on the on the others; I usually purchase only black bags. Gold hardware on traditional purses is fine but on backpacks - no! My intent was to use it as a purse on a daily basis. I carry my stuff, my dogs stuff, and on the weekends my husbands and it still have room to spare. It is lightweight but not cheap lightweight. I ordered two PacSafe backpack the other one arrives tomorrow The tie breaker will be which one I can easily see my contest, how easy it is to grab them and lastly I must like the fabric and must be durable. What a genius bag. The material is thick and looks high end. I love that the top of the bag has a frame and opens like an old doctors bag. The top zipper has two zipper tabs that lock together and then you can further secure the bag by feeding the locking bar through both. The front pocket has a zipper with one tab and while it doesn’t have a lock like the top zipper it has a loop to feed the tab through to make it more difficult to unzip. I saw other reviews saying the straps were too long but I’m 5’7 and at their shortest they’re just fine. I actually ended up lengthening them to give more room to wear it with thick winter coats. The organization inside the main compartment and the front pocket are great.

I got this bag to take on a cruise and I was very satisfied with my purchase. I first I thought it was a bit pricey for a bag, but it is well worth the money. The bag is well made and plenty of room to fit everything you need for a trip. I was even able to fit a an umbrella with no problem and plenty of space for other things. The only thing perhaps I wish it was easier to get in and out of the bag. What I mean is, it has a up and across zipper so you have to keep the bag in an upright position in order to close the bag properly. Other than that I love the bag.

It hold everything! And I do mean EVERYTHING! Now, with all the craziness going on... I’ve got my old essentials and all the new essentials, safe and secure. Getting into it can be tricky, but that’s why I bought it. My kid no longer just goes into my purse to get whatever... he hands it to me now “it’s too complicated”. Perfect score! :)

Just used this for 3 weeks in Italy. Just the right size. Good for hiking and for daily touring. Liked the safety features when in Rome and other large cities and when traveling by train
