I went through 5 weeks of travel this year, so this bag has been thoroughly tested before writing this review.What I like: The color, style, smooth materials, and convertible nature. I found that i most often used this as a day bag in backpack form, and only once did i use it as a purse i the evening, but it was rather nice to have that option.What I disliked:- It's very hard to put on as a backpack (the whole strap slides through the buckle when you grab one of them, making the other side impossible to put your arm through. they need a mechanism to lock the strap in place on the buckle). The gold finish on the hardware has already worn off in many spots -- specifically on the locking zipper

I read all of the reviews about this convertible backpack and continued shopping several times before finally coming back and ordering it. Now that it has arrived, I am pleased with my purchase.The product description states that a lock for the interlocking zippers is not included with your purchase. This implies to me that one is needed and it is. The interlocking zippers will not be secure without it. Next I read there is a problem with sliding straps while being used as a backpack. This is the criticism that kept me shopping. It is going to be an annoyance but in the end, one I decided I could live with for the added security of a convertible backpack.

When traveling it can hold a "boatload of stuff, like guide book, camera, thin sweater, water bottle, etc., and everything can be carried very comfortably, with great security features so that I am never hesitant to have this on my back. And yet when you come to a museum that doesn't allow backpacks (happening more and more these days), just slip that sweater on, carry the guidebook in your hand, and convert the backpack into a crossbody bag - relatively slim and not a problem for security. Depending on how much you want to carry, it can look quite slim and fashionable and even dressy. You can tell I love the design and it works very well for traveling - this is my second one (lighter color for spring and summer)

The bag was packed very neatly but it did come with a weird smell. I left it out with all the zip open for few days & the smell subsided. Used it in my UK trip for 2 weeks & now the smell is totally gone. But the bag is heavy on its own and sags a lot. I carried a wallet ,a small umbrella , water bottle and other small stuff and the big became quite heavy. Also space-wise the zipper compartments are not very deep. Too many zippers but none very deep. But surely it looks cute & I was able to carry it as handbag & backpack. Had to adjust the backpack strap to be long as the metal strap bothering a bit. But overall worked well for me for 2 weeks without any major issues.

I had purchased a PacSafe Sling 200 and had it for 15 years and was bummed out when the hardware fell apart and couldn't get it fixed. It took me a while to find a replacement that I could use daily that was not bulky or heavy. I was going back and forth between a crossbody, shoulder bag or backpack. I love PacSafe and was so happy when I came across this convertible crossbody / backpack. I use it as a crossbody daily, it's a little wider than I'm used to, but I'm making it work. I am also excited that I can use this daily and for different outings. I can go from using it as a Crossbody to a Backpack which lets me continue be hands free,

The strap I received is different from the one that is advertised but I did notice that some sites has a similar strap as I have but that kind of strap is only for a sling bag and not for converting it into a backpack. I tried different ways in adjusting the strap for the backpack but its either the inner part of the end of the strap is exposed or the top/ middle part of the strap where the loop is twisted.P.SI bought another bag but in a different color (Merlot) and got the same sling bag strap as the previous one.

I was worrying this bag will be very small but it is not at all. This bag is magical, there is enough space for everything. It is very comfortable as a backpack or as a purse. I really like how the secret lock system works. The only thing that I have mixed feelings is that there is access to the main part from the back pocket. Sometimes it is very convenient but from security point it's not. I think it would be nice if the back pocket is hidden and had more secured lock. But overall I am very happy with this backpack.

I love this bag! I have arthritis and bad shoulders so lightweight bags are key. I also travel frequently. I love this bag not only for the security features, but also because it looks so stylish in comparison to the usual look of most travel savvy bags. It does not appear frumpy in any way and can easily go from casual to elegant with the option to change from a backpack to a purse. Excellent choice if you are a traveler but don’t want to look like a tourist.

It is all about preferences. It is a fantastic bag. Colour is gorgeous, if you like grey. Your daily essentials like keys, wallets, iPad, etc would go into it no problem. I simply had to return because I did not like the hidden magnetic button sewn inside. I do not like having magnetic buttons on any of my bags, full stop and Amazon did not make it clear on the description, at the time of purchase. Hence the reason, I had to return it.

Love this two in one bag! Not only for travel but give me great flexibility in styles for around town use and is so cute! Easy to use and great safety features. It’s also water resistant for Seattle rain. Have 2 package purses and they won’t disappoint!Durable and hold a lot!

Brilliant travel bag, I even use it for work.The zipper at the back of the bag is such a great way to access your items with ease whether it’s used as a crossbody bag or back pack. A reallly good size with plenty of room to put a light weight jacket and all the essentials.

I like it because its light weight and security features are great. My only concern is its hard to use if you are using it as backpack and you need to get something in your back because the strap is not lock. You can’t use it on one side.

Used it for the first time yesterday in a crowded place. Didn’t have any worries at all. Just left it on my back all day. Would recommend to anyone. Looking forward to using it on my holidays this year.

I purchased this bag for my wife and she instantly loved it. She uses it for our travels and anytime we head out to events. It looks great and keeps everything secure as well as its versatile use.

This convertible bag worked really well. Love the light weight of the bag and the capacity. Many museums do not allow backpacks, so converting to crossbody bag works magically. Thank you!
