I'm about 10 hours into this and can safely say I'm enjoying it a lot so far! (It's apparently around 20hrs so I'm about half way.)I was put off buying this initially because, although there are few in total, most of the reviews online are negative about this visual novel. I took the plunge because I enjoy these kinds of games and thought the concept of a game glitching and transporting the characters to a distopian Tokyo was interesting enough to take a risk on and I'm glad I did.First off, the artwork and character designs are unique and are the main selling point for this game, for me. We have a really interesting colour palette and nice touches to the environment, making it stand out from other visual novels.Secondly, the characters themselves are all very different from one another and we get to go into their backstories as the game progresses, bonding with each character individually (the game actually tells you which character you're closest to because of your responses to situations which I assume leads to different endings.). I like the concept and have genuinely enjoyed all of the time I've spent on this game so far. The artbook and keyring that come with the day one edition are adorable btw and make buying the physical even better. The choice system "selection of soul" puts a spin on the usual visual novel as it brings a timed element to picking your response to people as phrases you can select fly across the screen. It kinda reminded me of Danganronpa with the truth bullets in trials. I think this is a really cool spin on a classic and adds another facet to the game.For the negatives, the translations are occasionally bad, things are misspelled and meanings are occasionally hard to decipher from the broken English. This has happened extremely infrequently and hasn't taken away from the game as a whole for me, but I know it might for some people. I get we're spending money and you expect quality for that but it really does happen so little and the fact we get a physical release in Europe (before America even) made me want to try this game even more. Another possible negative for you might be the amount of fan service in the game. I personally feel like it makes sense and adds to the humour within the game but some people can be offended.My advice would be to try it if those 2 things don't bother you too much because they're the only real problems I can see. Some reviews I read were complaining about the stupidest things (like why 1 character has weird brown spots on his neck and how it's never explained?) that make me feel like this game isn't getting the credit it deserves, because it really is stunning and has a plot that makes you not want to put it down. Very happy.

Bought new, arrived undamaged and on time.I don't usually play Visual Novel games, so thought I'd try this for a change.No spoilers here. Interesting story with lots of twists and turns. Interesting and varied characters, which you definitely get increasingly attached to as the game progresses ..... and, just like any good novel, you miss reading more about them when the game ends.The game took me about 20-25 hours (not sure if the timer clock keeps counting when you wander off for a cup of tea?) to complete so a lot of entertainment for the price.
