This is a really rather charming set of pet care accessory toys. The set is designed to be used for a pet to go with an 18" play doll, but there's no reason that this can't be used with any suitably sized small plush toy dog (the basket measures roughly 16cm x 11cm) - to that end, the emphasis on this as a girls' toy and the pinkified outer it comes in is a bit of a shame. My nephew loves soft toys and imaginative play, as did his Dad at the same age, and once out of the packaging there's nothing particularly girly about a set of pet care accessories. Indeed, as a family of dog owners, it's very nice to find a set of toy accessories that fairly accurately replicate real world dog care items for kids to play with...

Both my daughter, and my niece, are huge fans of Our Generation dolls and the myriad accessories you can buy to go with them – everything from hairdressing chairs to horses and other pets, such as dogs, bunnies, kittens and guinea pigs. This clearly says it is a pet care accessory playset and, from the things included, it seems to be aimed at a pet dog, but NOTE, the toy dog is NOT included. I didn’t find this odd, as I seem to have ordered all sorts of accessories over the years – from school bags to picnic sets and, even once, when we went on holiday, a travel set for her favourite doll, including a toy passport and travel pillow! What is a doll's house without accessories, but an empty structure? What is a doll without their own accessories? Perfectly fine, but that has not stopped Our Generation from creating a doll playset, but this is not just any playset; it is for you toy dog! You may think of a Pug as a toy dog, but this is for literal toy dogs made from stuffing etc. The size of them has to be pretty small too if they are going to get the most of this set as the bed is only 15 cm or so. Perfect for an Our Generation Pup as it would so happen.It is worth noting that this is the accessories and not the doll itself, you get no dog, but must provide your own. The elements are really well realised with loads of different things to use from toys to dog bowls.

The two things to note about this "pet care accessory playset" are that the pieces are very well made, detailed and incredibly sweet, and also that the scale of the "Our Generation" toys will make it difficult to use any of the accessories with anything other than an "Our Generation"-branded dog.Your mileage may vary about how much of an issue this is. If you have a collection of "Our Generation" branded toys, and specifically dogs/pets, then the range and scope of this playset is brilliant. For example, you'd probably pay a lot more buying each of the equivalent accessories separately in Build-A-Bear Workshop for their animal cuddly toys, so it represents good value for money in that respect.The dog lead is particularly sweet,

My daughter has always wanted a puppy- as the new addition to our family was not ready to be collected till the end of january - we bought the daughter a Our Generation Puppy to open on Christmas Day - she was at first disappointed that it was not a real puppy - but when we told her a real one would be coming soon so she had to love this one till then she was happy!Thats all we heard about for a month!! she loved the cuddly border terrier and we use to hear her talking to it!!!This add-on set comes with everything a real puppy would need and everything is really well-made and with attention to detail! This is a well-made, well-detailed and well-thought-out set.The bed is made out of material, so that it looks much more realistic than those ugly plastic-looking beds that you get with some sets like this. All the accessories are excellent: the feeding bowls in the stand, the tug rope, the collar and lead and the newspaper (presumably to pretend that the dog’s fetching its owner’s paper).There are plenty of other play items in the set - a brush, comb, treat dispenser, toy bone and ball. Like the others, they are all very realistic.It’s a good set which should last well. The problem is that it’s already fairly expensive for what it is, and it’s not much use without a suitable toy dog,

My 2 year absolutely loved this set. It doesn’t come with the dog (I think this is made clear from the pictures) but it works well with any small stuffed animal, although you can buy the “our generation” branded pets too. You get a little soft bed, little stand with food and water, brush and comb, bone for the dog to chew, and a couple more accessories like a newspaper and a little rope, and a little ball.Some of the pieces are quite small, so not suited if they put into their mouth. It’s probably aimed at 3+ but my daughter already loves this kind of thing. It’s great for role play and imagination. It’s well made, decent quality for all the pieces and seems like it will last well.

Our Generation 70.37327 Pet Care Accessory Playset Toy, Various is a very cute toy set which though very small is full of detail and nothing is missed in the detail compared to other toy sets I have purchased in the past.Our little girl loved it as it fits perfectly in her dolls house and she likes to show it off to her friends. The bed is very small therefore if you are going to purchase a dog to go with the set for the child I would advise you to purchase a very small one. Included is everything a toy dog will need, I love how the manufacturer has included everything a much-loved toy dog will need.Nicely designed and very much loved in this household, happy to recommend.

Our niece already has a number of the My Generation animals including two dogs ( a dalmatian and a yorkie). So she was thrilled to bits when we gave her this Pet Care Accessory Playset. It includes all the accessories needed to keep your pet happy and in good shape (brushes, lead, bed, bowls, treats and more). The various bits are all to scale and appear well made. We have real dogs too so this set is great for preparing our niece for the real world of canine care. My pony small gripe with the playset is that at over £22 it is probably a little pricey. It looks and feels more like a £15 set at best.

This is a fun set that our youngest really enjoys. First thing is you don’t actually get a OG doll included and they have to be bought separately. There’s quite a variety of breeeds available for around the £15-20 price range and most can be found on Amazon. This is a nice set that includes a variety of accessories. Some, like the collar and lead, were already included with our OG dog but they’re a different style/colour so at least that’s something. This set is perhaps a bit pricey, costing more than an actual OG dog but you do get a variety of items.

A nice accessory kit for Our Generation, or any of the popular 18-inch fashion dolls, or indeed any toy dog looking for some new accessories. There's a bed, bowls, collar and lead, modern toys like ropes and a Kong, brushes and combs and even a newspaper. All feel fairly sturdy and nicely made - no rough seams - and the bed especially is very cute.Perhaps a little bit much for what you get, especially as you don't get a dog toy, but it will likely be found in 3 for 2 or bundle deals later in the year.

I have only recently discovered the wonderful range of toys made by Our Generation. They make me want to be a child so I can play with them. I love all the ones I have seen so far and this is no exception. The detail that goes into making these toys is so well thought out. In this set there is everything you would need for looking after a pet, food bowls , lead , brushes. I just keep discovering more and more and I don't know about the granddaughters but I love it . Actually they love the range too.

This is a lovely set for dog loving girls or boys. It includes a bed, bowls, collar,lead, toys and more. It is expensive and to buy a dog of the same brand is around another £20. I got this for my Granddaughter who already has a little Springer soft toy which I bought for around £8 to help her get over the death of our Springer and I thought this set was perfect to go with it. It is well made and robust and will give hours of play.

My young God Daughter enjoys Our Generations toys a lot. She has the pony, dog and more. This is a well made accessory set. Comes with well produced toy dog grooming toys. The actual toy animal is not included. So before buying this set will need to get a toy animal. The included toys are well made, strong and look like the real thing. 4 stars rather than 5 stars but to the price. My feeling that £20 is about right for this.

The price would have put me off to start. I felt that a price over £20, without the dog, was just too much. However, when the box arrived I was suitably impressed as the items are really well made and very cute. I particularly like the tiny dog kong. My daughter has one of the Our Generation dolls, but not the dog. She does have other dog soft toys and they are enjoying the doggy accessories.
