It's was purchased as an additional Christmas present to reward exceptional progression in reading. Yes it's. little pricey for a doll and my daughter has other dolls but she fell in love with her on Christmas Day, she has taken her everywhere and delights in telling people that something very special happened at Christmas, she had a baby! Maybe she's taking her role in the nativity a little too far! The doll is very life like, the only down side is that once she's asleep and then goes in power save mode, her eyes open, that doesn't make much sense to an adult and little sense to a five year old. With this aside, it's a great toy,

3rd birthday gift for our granddaughter. Baby dolls haven't really held her imagination long, she prefers small world playsets, so we were surprised this doll was such a hit. In the last 7 days since she received her shes been constantly by her side and has been a very good dolly mummy. Grown ups thought Annabell was adorable too. She functions as described, but we are yet to get her to cry tears or wee, and we bought the potty to match which was disappointing. Bought on offer so can't complain

The dolls are lovely the minute we got home my two girls tore open the boxes and we sat for hours playing with them. Normally my two would play with a new toy for a day or so and then it would be left and forgotten at the foot of the stairs etc. But not these dolls. They sit in the bathroom when my 2 bath, they sit at the table at mealtimes. (And get given their bottles too lol. ) And at night time. Switch goes off and they get to cuddle them until they fall asleep . Absolutely lovely toys.

Some of the functions can take some effort to start, eg: the baby won't react to the bottle or dummy right away even after many attempts, meaning it often has to be switched off and on again to stop it from crying. I have also yet to hear it 'wind' after being patted following a feed or witness the 'real tears'. Despite all this my daughter won't put her down and adores the baby and the sounds are very lifelike as are the movement of the face when it does finally latch onto its dummy or bottle.

I bought this as a third birthday present for my daughter, as she was always feeding her own milk bottle to her dog teddy.I thought I need To get her a real baby.She absolutely loves this baby annabell.I think it's the best starting off baby doll for kids.She loves being her mummy.Her crying real tears, laughing, drinking milk motions are very realistic..Her babbling is so cute. It's a well made doll, very durable.I would have loved to have one of these when I was a child..perfect

I brought this for my 2 year old daughter, she loves it but only plays with Baby Annabelle when it's not switched on, she doesn't like continue crying, although it doesn't cry too often. She loves the bottle, dummy and necklace that comes with it. You'll will need to purchase blanket, nappies and other stuff separately, to complete the set. Overall my daughter loves playing with Baby Annabelle and wants to take it everywhere. My daughters friend sister loves to play with it too and she's 6.

My neices loved this, but the instructions booklet inside were not all in English so I had to look online for help on how to make her cry! We fed her water, then she cried but tears were not coming out. I looked online and found that others had the same issue and the solution was to shake the doll vigorously in order for the tears to come out the first time. After that the tears came out each time without the need to shake the doll. A good product but full English user instructions needed.

Annabell is a lot like a real baby, which can lead to adults getting attached to it too if they're feeling broody. Ahem...She cries, giggles, snores (quite louder than the average baby but that's ok) . Reviews suggested she stands the test of time. Main issue has been loosing the dummy easily, although so far found it again each time. Not obvious which, if any, of the replacements are valid for this model.My 4 years old daughter loves her new baby doll and it was one of our best buys.

My daughter turned 2 at Christmas and I knew this doll was a bit beyond her years, but she just loves pushing her older sister's pram about and I couldn't get the smaller less "complicated" doll at the time so went for this. She loves it, constant cuddles & pram pushing. It's infinitely more irritating than a real baby but easily solved with the off button! Amusingly I found myself running around frantically searching for it's dummy cause it was crying. Love the way the mouth moves, cute.

My 3-y.o. was never interested in dolls, until we got her this one last year. We recently bought another one for her cousin, who fell in love with it instantly when she visited last month. Annabell is heavy, and it can be pretty noisy at night, but it's the best doll out there! Very life-like, with sweet babbling and gurgling sounds, and with a very realistic dummy sucking routine. The first one looks brand new even a year after it was bought, but the dummy's been chewed on. Just lovely!

My little girl loves this doll! Her imagination while playing with the doll is so refreshing. But! The back of the doll where batteries go could be much better especially when paying £49.99! These are constantly opening and gaping! It also states that the doll wee's however this is yet to happen and we have tried many things! This is the only thing that my daughter does not like the fact he doesn't wee when he should! Strange I know! Overall good however could be better for the cost!

Bought this doll after my daughter insisted that she had to have the doll. The doll is expensive and since my daughter has a track record of loosing interest with her toys I was a bit reluctant at first. But afterwards I just bought it and it has been a nice addition to the family. My daughter plays with her everyday and Annabell looks so much like a real baby that at times even I will pick her up to cuddle. The only complain is that it could have more expressions like smiling.

My Grandaughter asked me to buy this for her 9th Birthday.I thought she was too old, but as she has a new baby sister, I guessed it might be a nice idea to have a baby to care for like Mummy. She was over the moon with Baby Annabell and we were all impressed with her lifelike actions. Its a pity she isnt more like a real baby size and her eyes dont shut when shes asleep. Clothes are also really expensive, meaning Nanny has had to start knitting a lot on new outfits for her!

I bought baby annabelle as a potty training tool and I was not disappointed in that respect. The doll did everything that I hoped it would in regards to using a potty.The only issue is the velcro is not very strong so when you move it or when my little girl is playing with the doll it comes open revealing the battery compartment. This will be resolved by getting Annabelle to wear different clothes.My little girl loves the doll.I would definitely recommend it.

These doll's can be expensive and was pleased to find Argos were the cheapest by far.My granddaughter loved this and was very excited when she opened it, She was very excited when she learned that baby Alexander actually cries real tears and does wee's on the potty, something that her older Annabelle doesn't, so guess what,now she wants a new Annabelle too. They are very Life size of newborn and come with some lovely little accessories, bottle,dummy,bib and a nappy.
