Bought for young daughter. Hard plastic toy that cries when the dummy is taken from mouth and stops when replaced. Water can be added for tears effect which we've done once as it literally doesn't stop until the dummy is replaced and can soak the dolls clothes. Daughter not fussed about 'tears'. Hard doll and heavy if it drops on your toes or theirs 'ouch' and not a doll she would take to bed. However this doll has provided endless amounts of fun for her and her siblings who we also bought for and now they've discovered the cartoon they love the dolls even more! Daughter been after this for a long time , Amazon only place selling it price was not cheap but that the thing with toys they never are ☺The toy was turned on when received , not Amazon fault as they just deliver and storage , at least I know it works outI seen I lot of people saying doesn't cry and stops working I looking at the instructions and notice it needs to be distilled water and you have to press like a button to get the air out too much messing aroundMy daughter has ASD so instead of upsetting her by letting her put water in her cup just in case it does break I sort of worked round it's pretend water ,

The product was well wrapped, it works, and the quality was perfectly fine. The only reason I can't give the item 5 stars is due to the questionable crying sound.The first part of the crying sounds like our noisy neighbour in the throws of passion. It made all of us laugh, but the rest of the crying sound is NOT realistic, its just creepy.My 3 nieces spend, 2 nights a week with my parents (every week) they don't bring toys to the house as we have everything, we have all decided these babies can go home with them. ha ha

This is a fantastic doll for a 2 year old. It’s a decent sized doll to play with during the day and a night light at night. The dolls night light is not too bright more like a gentle glow and has 5 lullabies their not to loud, it automatically shuts off after a minute. Just right for a 2 year old wanting to role play. It is very durable also, it has been slam dunked on the floor by little one and it still works. A bit pricey for what it is but little one loves it so money well spent.

Beautiful dollI love that she is able to cry when you pour water in the back of the head :)But it doesnt make as many sounds as you expect it toIf you take out her dummy she will cry a little and then goes kinda quiet And the tears flow kinda slow so you gotta wait for itBut overall i do love how beautiful the dolll is just unsure if it wont make your toddler upset that the dolly is crying like it upset mine lol but shes fine with it as she treats it as a real baby

Bought for my Grand daughters 7th Birthday. . She chose this from the Argos catalogue, sent me a photo, I ordered it as it was a very good price. I was e-mailed confirmation immediately and the day it would arrive. I also had a text to advise me of time and any special request as to where I would like the package placed which I very much appreciated My Grand daughter absolutely loves this doll and is taking her everywhere (indoors, the garden and 1hr walk) .

My 3 year old has this cry baby and she absolutely adores it. I've heard the other cry babies in the shop and was abit skeptical when my aunt said she'd get one for my daughter but my daughter was begging for one. This version for whatever reason isn't that loud and doesn't sound like it's having sex like some of the other cry babies! My 1 year old son also loves it so I am considering getting him his own one so he'll stop fighting his sister haha

Bought for my 5 year old niece during lockdown as she has a collection of the little ones and thought a big one would be a nice surprise addition. Needless to say she absolutely loves it - as did her 3 year old sister so I ended up purchasing another!! It's cute but like most toys these days I think they're overpriced and for what they are. Having said that, it is worth it to see the smile on their little faces :)

I bought this on offer for 16.99. I'd say that price is fair. The quality of the doll underneath the suit isn't the best. A leg has broken off quite easily and feels cheaper quality that the large head. There is an off switch tho as they can get a bit annoying. The child who received it enjoys carrying it around and looking after it. Would suit a fairly wide age range. I'd say 18 months to 7years.

The doll is quite cute and my 1yr old absolutely loves it! She's calming it down when crying feeding it taking it into the buggy it's amazing for imaginative play!We've only had it a short time so not sure how long it'll last but seems good so far. Haven't tried the tears yet as don't want wet floors and baby atm lol but overall it's very good and hopefully will be ordering least one more soon!

This doll was asked by my daughter. She was so happy when she got it on her birthday. Doll itsefs is quite heavy, little girl can hurt itself.Make this doll cry is a bit difficult for the little kid, I was confused myself as well. When you fill up with water, dolls head will be more heavier and you have to think about it when doing this.Our doll has difficulties in tears comming from eyes.

We had to return the original doll due it being marked up & the hood faulty. Argos were fab and replaced it immediately.The replacement doll was in great condition & my daughter loves it. The sounds it makes don’t go on for too long and the volume is bearable! Just remember to take it off of demo mode! Great value for money when you look at the latest craze of other toys on the market.

Bought for my Granddaughter's 4th Birthday she Loves this doll , the instructions could be written clearer , we had to google it to find out you put water in the Dolls head to make it cry , she is a bit top heavy without water but as I say my 4 year old Granddaughter was over the moon especially as the doll is called Lea & my Granddaughter is called Leah :-) she now has all 3 of these

The sound the doll makes and the comforting sound she makes when she is happy my LO really liked it. There is a secure screwed lid where you pour water. So very happy with that. It is loads of fun when the baby starts crying as it forces the LO to look after and care for the baby. I think this doll can teach other children to be gentle and compassionate to babies.

There is not really a lot to this. It does come with batteries, which is nice.My only concern is the message it sends... i.e. When a child cries, chuck a dummy in its mouth. I don't think that is right, either way, it is a toy that is well built. Do note though, the crying isn't automatic and you need to press a button to make the tears come through.
