Enchantimals GFN44 Larissa Lemur Doll (6-in) & Ringlet Animal Friend FigureThis is the second Enchantimals toy that I've received, I was highly delighted with the first one. This set is slightly smaller than the previous one, it contains the Larissa Lemur Doll along with her friend the Ringlet Animal. I must admit I had never heard of Enchantimals until I received these toys. But, I can understand their popularity as they sure are cute.The set I received has a small Larissa Lemur Doll, she stands just 6 inches tall. Larissa has long purple hair that reaches down below her skirt. She has a yellow flower in her hair and a pretty made up face. Larissa also has a striped Lemurs tail,hence the name.Larissa's blouse is yellow and her skirt is made from real material, it has a colourful floral design upon it. She has green booties on her feet. Her head arms and legs are movable, although she doesn't have movable knee or arm joints. Her animal friend Ringlet has no moving parts whatsoever as he is just a moulded plastic figure.Our little girl has taken a liking to this doll, I guess it's her cute animal ears and bight colours. She is now known as the animal Princess sitting between all of the other Princesses in her collection. Enchantimals 887961537642 Hixby Hedgehog DollI'm not usually a fan of plastic doll toys, but the kids were lucky to get their hands on this one - I wanted to keep it for myself! It is so cute - the little child with its little hedgehog Mini Me is adorable. They both have the same fur and the same removable orange glasses. The pictures in the online listing do not do justice to the adorableness of this cute character (and the video is terrible quality). The toy is sturdy, detailed and articulated, and perfect for imaginative play.Hexby and his Hedgehog Pointer are part of the Enchantimals range. Hexby is the first male character in what is otherwise a seemingly endless range of sickly cute girly girl characters that doesn't hold any interest for me at all.Hexby's face is somewhat reminiscent of a fox - more so than a hedgehog. He does have spiky hair and cute little ears that are somewhat like a hedgehog. His outfit is largely moulded, though his black vest is cloth trimmed with faux fur at the collar. The outfit is nerdy and tacky with printed acid wash jeans and black combat boots.The doll can be moved at its shoulders and thighs so has only limited poseability. This is a doll aimed at children rather than an adult collector's doll, but I think this one is gorgeous.My one niggle is in order to get the doll out of the packaging it has to be torn open - it's hard to save the artwork or product details.For sale at the time of writing this review at £5 (RRP £9.99).

Enchantimals GJX40 CIESTA CAT Doll & Climber FigureThis is the second Enchantimals set that I've received. I am quite impressed by the quality of this when compare to the asking price. This particular set consists of a small doll named Ciesta Cat, she stands 15.8 cm in height. Along with Ciesta Cat is her companion who is named Climber. These are presented nicely in a colourful blister pack that shows a pretty country scene inside the package.What I particularly like about these Enchantimals dolls is the high detail. Ciesta Cat's facial features are quite amazing for such a small doll. This detail continues in the clothing that is worn. This particular doll is wearing a pretty little dress,with the lower part being made from real material. The pattern on the dress again is very nicely detailed making the dress look quite pretty. She not only looks attractive, she also has moving parts, her head moves along with her arms and legs. She has long flowing hair, her hair colour is black and purple, it is styled into a pony tail that reaches down to her knees.Climber again is nicely detailed, the cat has a tuft of fur on the head along with nicely detailed facial features. Enchantimals are a new (2017) doll line from Mattel, the makers of Barbie. However, as can be seen from the photos accompanying this review, the Enchantimals are smaller (at around 6 inches tall) than the Barbies (typically 11.5 inches tall) which means they are not competing against each other and instead are aimed at different markets.This Enchantimal is called Saffi Swan. She was introduced to the doll range in 2018. Her theme is that of a swan. She has a white face with light blue face paint in a feathers design. Her nose is orange with a black tip like a swan. Her vest top, which can't be removed, has two swans joining their heads to form a heart shape. The doll comes with a removable (hence why it isn't in photos)cloak that is thin and feather designed, and a skirt which is predominantly pink to match her hair colour. Her shoes have nice winding feathers on them which hold them in place (and which aren't winding snakes). She also comes with a feather headband and a pet swan called Poise who wears a light blue piece of cloth (like a scarf) around her neck (to cover a nasty-looking join there which suggests to me these aren’t as well made as the Barbies, but on the other hand they are at a better price).My 8-year-old daughter says, "Its good. It can sit down and bend and has hair you can brush. You can play with it with other dolls and put it in different sets because it is small. Its good because it also came with a swan."

I immediately liked this set as soon as I saw it.The doll and her baby are bears! kind of.The set is called Dreamy Bedroom and there is a bed with a painted face on the headboard, of a sleeping bear of course. There is a blanket, pillow and a crib for baby bear. This hangs on a bough coming from the bedpost.Also there is furniture. A desk, a chair, a desk lamp. A mirror and an owl ornament. You can use the back of the box as a background to the bedroom.One of the cute touches is that both mum and baby have sleeping caps on. I am unclear as to whether Snore is Bren’s baby or her friend?Bren Bear is articulated so you can arrange her in different places quite easily.I like that meant type of dolls like this one.Why shouldn’t there be beings that are part animal and human? I think that this opens a door to accepting that people are different perhaps? I would like to think so. At least it is not a Barbie type of reality.There is a whole range of these Enchantimals and I know I will end up buying other ones for my granddaughters who are already enchanted with this one! Doll and the baby are named Bren and Snore according to the packaging.I can see that this makes a setting for kids to make up stories and I think it will do this well and more when other creatures are brought/bought in. The manufactures say this is a set to encourage “Caring is Our Everything” It’s a lovely ideal.

This is a rather cute cat doll (‘Ciesta’) with large ‘anime’ eyes and long synthetic black hair with shots of purple. She is accompanied by her pet cat (‘Climber’).The doll’s hair has been tied back with a plastic band and her ears are a rather soft plastic with a small degree of flexibility. Ciesta’s head can turn 360 degrees and there are joints in the hips and shoulders. This allows the doll to sit down unaided (with difficulty due to her tail which rather strangely comes out of her lower back!). Her shoulder joints enable her arms to circle 360 degrees. There are no knee or ankle joints and one arm is already bent but there are no elbow joints either.Ciesta has a hard bodied plastic squared,short sleeved shirt and a fabric, floral dirndl skirt that is trimmed with a band of purple ‘fur’. Whilst the top is not removable the skirt is - as are her boots.The doll is accompanied by her pet cat, ‘Climber’ who displays matching ears and a matching tail that has a degree of flexibility. Climber also sports some soft fluff at the top of its head, to represent fur. The cat sits well on its haunches and is otherwise made of hard plastic.Both doll and cat are well designed and robust and encourage imaginative role play. At under £10 (Amazon March 2020), this is what would be termed a ‘pocket money’ toy.

Hixby hedgehog and Pointer. The doll is presented in a simple plastic bubble stuck onto a cardboard back. He measures approx. 6 ½” (16.5cm) and the hedgehog approx. 2” (5cm). Hixby has solid hair but both he and Pointer have removeable spectacles that can be swallowed: Hixby’s boots can be removed also his material vest with fur collar but the other garments are printed into the plastic of the dolls. Pointer also has a tuft of hair that could be pulled off, hence the age recommendation of 4 years plus. The doll has stiff limbs that only rotate from the shoulder and hips. His head rotates 360°. There is a small plastic lug at the back of the hedgehog that clips onto Hixby's arm to make it appear he is holding him.The doll is ugly but so cute.I’ve seen several different Enchantimals in the collection but I think this is the only boy amongst them. My five-year-old granddaughter couldn’t wait to get this one out of the package and has put him in her dolls house but the first thing she did was remove their spectacles and now can’t find them. (I wondered how long they would last!).These dolls are just under £10 which I think is reasonable considering how much you pay for Barbie. They are unique with animals to match the dolls and do make a change from Barbie and Action man.

We have a few of these dolls now and Peeki like all the range is ideal for the littler doll fans for a number of reasons.Peeki is gorgeously vibrant, with flowing tropical coloured hair and an outfit ready to Samba for Carnival in. She has bright mask like feathery makeup to resemble her parrot friend and theme but looks pretty too.Clothing wise it is the cheaper option with a sprayed in bodice, but there is also a detachable circle skirt and a sheer winglike printed cape and fabulous shoes and a hair piece. This isn't a gorgeously flamboyant doll with joyful riot of tropical colour and my girls adore her.She is great for the younger doll fans because the spray on clothes means it's hard to lose all the bits for the dolls,and they are presented as younger, not overly sensual bodies compared to more grown up brands. They are also the perfect size for tiny hands.And come with a Palace Pets like animal friend for a bonus.The 5 points of articulation is a bit disappointing but for tiny hands upgrading from little people and happyland it's much easier not to pose them, and older fans they are great just stood still.We have quite a few Enchantimals dolls and would happily recommend this one and collect more.

This Enchantimals animal-human hybrid toy range is delightfully quirky and imaginative and it’s good to see boy dolls in such a range as it’s important for both for girls and boys who enjoy the dolls. But I feel less effort has been lavished on this boy doll in comparison to the girl dollies.The range uses a wide range of unrealistic skin tones which is great anyway but Hixby has a slight Mediterranean/Asian/Arabic hue which is good to see in dollies too and he could pass as a regular dolly with Shelly or Lottie sized dolls.It’s also great inclusion to see a character with glasses but they will disappear if you unclip the plastic ties holding them as there is no grip on them otherwiseThe cheap build (5 points of articulation)and sprayed on clothes with exception of a textile coat may make some parents feel they aren’t value for money especially at RRP but, it’s ideal for small children as you can’t really strip them and lose their clothes and you don’t have to worry about them being too rough and breaking smaller more perilous joints such as wrists/joints/knees in more expensive dolls.These are a safe halfway house between happyland etc and Barbies and they come with a cute little animal friend too.

Enchantimals are absolutely gorgeous and so very, very cute. This particular Enchantimal 'Dreamy Bedroom' Playset includes 'Bren Bear' doll and her own very cute friend 'Snore Bear'. It also comes with a dressing table with chair, a bed with attached hanging basket for Snore, blanket, mirror, lamp and little owl clock. All of the accessories are bright and colourful.There are quite a few Enchantimals (all with their own little friend) and playsets to collect, the playsets really enhance the playability of this range of small dolls.Bren Bear is wearing a very pretty purple nightdress outfit with moon and stars prints, pink slippers and night cap (clothes are removable). She has bear ears and long brown hair.Snore Bear has a matching night cap.My three year old granddaughter simply adores the Enchantimals dolls and had almost collected them all, she also has two or three playsets and spends hours playing with her new little friends making up stories for them that appear to be quite magical.A wonderful range of reasonably priced characters and playsets that are made with quality materials.Recommended.

This doll comes nicely packaged and without too much excess plastic. It has bright, nicely designed graphics, which go with the rest of the range. Just a shame that this usually ends up in the bin. You'll find the doll stands at just 6" (15cm) tall, the same as the rest of the range. Strangely, this one is cheaper than the rest?She has a very pretty face, which has some some cute face paint on which enhances the look. The hair is a bright red/ginger colour, that trials down past her waistline. Her outfit is well put together, particularly the floral skirt. When she raises her arms you can then see the pink "feather" wing, that's a nice touch. To top it off, she has a little crown/tiara on top of her head.You also get a pink plastic flamingo, that attached to her arms, but does little else.Any girls is going to lovely this very well thought out colourful doll, that for once isn't over-packaged. This is a multi-product page and therefore reviews may be for differing products. This review is for the Flamingo set.This is a cute set of doll and pink flamingo. The doll has fabric multi-coloured skirt and feather shaped cape that makes it look like wings. The body dress is painted on and thus not removable. The head set being moulded plastic as are the boots which aid in standing the doll up, but it isn’t stable especially when holding the flamingo. The doll has a face painting that fits in with the flamingo theme. The movement is limited to shoulders and hips and flamingo can be clipped to the dolls arm to give the impression that it is being held.If you have a little one that collects Enchantimals,then they are sure to enjoy this one. If you haven’t had one before, not that it is a 6 inch figure and not something in the Barbie doll size.My only criticism and feedback for the manufacturer is in the excessive plastic packaging. It is a double blister pack on a card based back. There really is no need for this, especially with online sales. A cardboard box would suffice.

Oh she is GORGEOUS!!Danessa has luscious Lilac hair and her entire outfit has a gold with coral theme and the whole doll is beautiful- She is deer themed and has subtle fawn markings on her face and beautiful proud golden antlers.I like the fact like the rest of the range she isn’t overly sexualised, her figure is petite but not sensualised and her clothes are normal if not demure rather than revealing. They are a good pairing to Lottie dolls.The cheap build (5 points of articulation) and sprayed on clothes with exception of a faux fur coat and textile skirt may make some parents feel they aren’t value for money especially at RRP but,it’s ideal for small children as you can’t really strip them and lose their clothes and you don’t have to worry about them being too rough and breaking smaller more perilous joints such as wrists/joints/knees in more expensive dolls. And excellent if you’ve got a child who strips their dollies then regrets it.Her fawn friend is super cute with fluffy head and matching but smaller antlers and markings.Definitely worth the purchase this one.

Enchantimals FJJ21 Peeki Parrot Doll, Multicolor is a small but very cute doll which stands out from any other doll I have seen in a long time. It is cute and I loved the colours it holds, from the clothes to the hair even the eye art it has, even the parrot is as vibrant as anything I have ever seen.This is a doll which is small in stature yet it is so bold it leaves it a doll which will stand out loud and proud.Our little girl loved this parrot doll, it fits neatly in her small hand and she loves to play with it, the very unique styling of the doll seems to please her imagination.This is a small doll which is perfect for a small add-on present or even a stocking filler which for the priceis a good quality doll though I do believe because it is so fine it might be easily broken and the little parrot and other accessories would be easily lost, especially if you have an enthusiastic hoover. Therefore caution would need to be considered because of the small pieces especially if you have a child who likes to put everything in their mouths.Happy to recommend.

This little doll has really appealed to my daughter. The over accentuated facial features and pretty pink hair really stand out. Her outfit is really exciting. She has a pink cape like thing which is very similar to the flamingo wings. These are material. She is also wearing a material skirt. The floral design is printed on the outside only. Her top is molded plastic and forms her body and is intact a bodice.Her shoes can be removed. The headpiece is attached, these could be cut off but it keeps the headpiece in place.Her hair is high and bright. After a fair bit of playing with it has retained most of its shape but has started to frizz. It does well with brushing. It doesn't pull out.It looks well threaded in.Her face paint is interesting. Her eyes are printed on and to a good standard.The flamingo is a bit of a let compared to the doll. The plastic form has big gaps in which spoils the aesthetics. There is nowhere near as much detail with the flamingo as the doll. This is a shame as they go hand in hand. Hence the loss of a star in my review.
