I am really impressed with the quality of this product, my 5 year old loves it. Not too interested in the word game at the moment, but loves the numbers and tangram. I purchased 'pizza co' and 'coding awbie' separately and he loves these too.All the osmo apps are free but you do need the osmo stand and reflector for the iPad or tablet (we use iPad). I did not buy the base for monster app, we found a white board or paper (but you have to keep using a new piece of paper with each drawing) did the job (sorry osmo) same with the newton app, we found the reflector could see lego pieces and used this info to make the game playable without purchasing all the pieces.I do highly recommend and am saving for the detective board for geography.. well done osmo.Nothing in this starter kit can't be done on the cheap, such as good old fashion pen and paper because of this it makes osmo a lot of money, but I think the next generation just learn more interactively with tech. I'm happy because I got a discount at Christmas, I also found with research that I could save some money by buying the genius starter kit and adding other games that need interactive board and pieces etc. you might find you can by the base and reflector and then just get the free apps, that way you can use pen and paper for e.g. And then decide if you want to pay up. Although they do grow with this product, at least over the next 10 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pizza Co game for Osmo requires the base, I have an ipad mini 3 and it is compatible. My 10 and 11 year old plays this, the 11 year old actually has a little fun with math, which is great to see. My ten year old though, she loves this game. She has even claimed, she may one day open a pizza place of her own. So how the game plays is you have your own pizza business with customers. The pizza has two sides, a gray one and the cheese side. The ipad/Osmo recognizes what toppings you put on a pizza and you "cook" it, then when there are new customers, the player flips it back to the gray side. The player makes change with the money pieces. It helps with adding, subtracting, fractions, and a little business savvy lesson in playing as well. Recommended for children ages 5-12, it says it adjusts difficulty level to the player, and for my two it sure did, they are similarly matched, and from my observations were the perfect level of math skills being used, required a bit of thought, but not too hard to master. I think after 3 weeks of playing my daughter's confidence has built a lot with making change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Osmo Pizza Co. is a fun way to build money, fraction, and emotional intelligence. Upon receiving an order, you build the pizza with toppings to match their request. One of the absolute most valuable parts, I believe, is the nonverbal communication that takes place while you are building the pizza. If you watch the character’s expression you can see them react to the choices made. It is an amazing opportunity for practice of a recognizing facial cues. After you slide the pizza in the oven, it’s time to flip the pizza to accept payment. The character’s place their money on the counter and you have to determine how much they gave you.You then make change based on the cost of their pizza. The level of difficulty can be adjusted based on the skills of the user. At the “end of the day” it’s time to see how you did! How much profit? Good reviews? Amazing! i would highly recommend this game. So much fun combined with amazing skills!

Love it! Very fast paced though.I haven’t tried the junior version yet, I went straight into the main shop. It’s a lot of fun and I had to tear myself away. You receive the order by picture and you add the topping to your pizza. You then slide it to your right and off it goes into the oven. The customer moves to the right to eat their pizza and then pay you. You need to give the correct change where required. As you progress through, the game gets a little faster and I found myself having to move quickly to keep up with the rush. My 5 year old will get flustered on her own with this so I’ll need to be around to help her (not complaining).I suspect the junior part will be more easy going so I’ll start her off with that.I’ve given 5 stars on the basis that I believe the junior part will be fine and my daughter will progress up to the shop and hire me as her assistant. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old took a little but to get the hang of this game but once she has it was about an hour before I realized she'd been playing so long! The game comes with the pizza toppings, money and a circle that doubles as your pizza and the change counter. You're job is to run a pizza shop and your customers come in and give their order. You make their pizza based off signals given to you by the customer. The customer then pays and you are responsible for making change. I really liked the idea that fractions were implemented, like they only want 1/2 of a topping. It really holds her attention and keeps her engaged, she has actually asked to play with it on several occasions and with her usually once the newness of something has worn off she moves onto something else. I recommend this toy as a fun way to learn.

Great game for kids and adults playing with their kids. The play modes which have ability adjustable are fab. When my 4yr wants to play I can do the cashier aspect for her or chose the Pizza Only mode so she can still play without me but not have to do the mental maths.Comes nicely packaged with trays which fit all components nicely. My only gripe which also lost it a star in my review is the Pizza board. Because it comes and stores folded it has a tendency to 'pop up and not lie completely flat. I also see this as a weak point which couild easily tear over time. Would've been better to have larger packaging and a play board that was totally solid. But it's a very clever concept of game and anice addition to the Osmo series.Glad Amazon started to stock this as to order alone from Osmo had an extra £10 on shipping which was too cost prohibitive previously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pizza and kids are kind of made for each other combination. Kids love pizza like anything and this is so true with this interactive smart OSMO Pizza game.I got this game for my kid and he loves it very much. This games provides an opportunity to become a businessman, run your shop, sale the product and earn the profit. Kids can play alone or with their friends together. Game is very interesting and help in enhancing basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, fraction), teaches time management, managing the inventory and run the register counter. At the end of the day, you know how much you have invested, spent and then calculates the profit. There are multiple difficulty levels in the game which helps you to choose the correct level for your kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children all love the Osmo Pizza game set. They love creating the pizzas and giving the change to the customers after they pay. It teaches my children real life math and money skills which are hard to obtain at a young age in real life without role playing games like these. We used the base (purchased secretary) for our iPad. My children have spent hours of interactive play with this game. Their Money counting skills all improved almost immediately. Since money uses coins and quarters, suddenly my son was able to understand quarters with time as well. This is definitely a game that kids of all ages enjoy. My children ages 8-14 play it daily since it was purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, Osmo is an excellent device for interactive learning. This new Pizza game is amazing. It lets your child have fun while making a pizza and running the shop. The child learns math while running the business and providing change. It is such a great way to make math fun! The interactive piece keeps the child engaged and fits to their own level helping them learn. My child loves to play this game and I love that they are learning at the same time. I would really recommend Osmo and this Pizza Company game to every family. The kids will not want to stop playing and the parents will be happy that they are learning and being creativethe whole time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 5 and LOVES his osmo set. It’s not only a fun game for him but teaches him alot too. I’d say the game should be aimed maybe at 6-7 which I’m pretty sure it states but at 5 years old my son really only needed help with the part where you count the change out to customers. Only advice is to make sure your iPad camera is wiped free from any smudges as at first ours wasn’t working correctly. After a quick wipe down of the screen and we were up and running perfectly. I’ll be adding many more games to the system and personally love this and how much it teachers our son.

Another well thought out educational game from Osmo. We have all the other products they've created and have found them all to be of great quality. It can get quite manic trying to keep the busy customers happy in the shop! Our 8 and 7 years olds love it.The only reason I've given it 4 starts instead of 5 is that the box it comes in is completely different to the rest of the osmo kit. The others all hold together with magnets and look great (see photo). It's a shame they've not followed the same design through with this one. No reason not to as the pieces are small enough to fit the old box sizes. Thanks Osmo team :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, we are a very big pizza family, so having the theme be pizza related is great. Then, it's my wife's mission to teach our daughter the value of money and importance of knowing how to calculate cost and change. It's the perfect real life scenario for what she is learning right now in 1st grade and in a practical lesson! The user experience is great with the game and I can see us adding other games as well over time, but in the meantime, this one is going to be relevant for a while! Finally, we have another learning opportunity for the iPad!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Osmo pizza game a few months ago. I had to also buy an iPad base for this game. The game itself is pretty great. It comes with pizza toppings and money. My son has autism and he really liked this game. He is learning how to count money in school and this game is really good for learning how to use money. I like that this game can be used on an iPad. I think that schools would benefit from having this game for children. It is educational and fun. I would recommend this game to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game was so much fun, especially for my six-year-old daughter! It has become a favorite in our home. This interactive game is not only fun for the kids, but it teaches all sorts of math, including fractions, time management, money, addition, subtraction, customer service, etc. The quality of the game pieces is top notch, and the box is great and works well for all of the pieces. Overall, this game is not only a great learning tool, but it's super fun for the whole family to play together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this game for my Kids a few weeks ago and it’s great ! It’s a great game to teach kids many different things . I love that this game teaches them to deal with customer orders and making the pizza with the toppings the customers want . If it’s not right the game will tell you if they got something wrong . I also love that it teaches them how to give change when a customer pays cash. A great educational tablet game! I would highly recommend this product to anyone !
