The Pros - the Osmo is a fantastic bit of kit, that I think evwry smartphone owner should have, assuming you do videos. It truely takes all the shake out of the video, such as walking upstairs.The Cons - out of the box, a fully discharged battery leaves you worried you bought a dud, as it doesn't power up out of the box. Also having a proprietary charging lead means I need yet another USB socket to charge up, however the plus for it being a 3.5mm jack means it's less likely to wear out compared to MicroUSB. The app could be better for ease of use and setup. It would also be nice to mount this on a Tripod, but no means of attachment means it's just a handheld.Summary - if your not put off by the cons,

The DJI Osmo Mobile is exactly what I was looking for - a simple tool for capturing better video. It takes some practice - I needed two days with 1-2 hours on each day - but once you get the hang of it, set up is quick and capturing video is so easy. The quality is great, although not perfect as you will still get a little movement. But that is to be expected (nothing is perfect). Pan easily with the joystick and grab smooth video when walking around. I love the white/silver color. I'm not one for selfies but it is a fabulous option (the photo is me setting up the DJI Osmo before a group selfie in Italy).I'm focusing on creating video content for my travel website and the DJI Osmo Mobile is making that a reality.

Really happy with this, genuine product arrived boxed in the original box.The build quality is superb the app takes a little working out but after an hour or so I was quite the expert. The quality of filming using this is unbelievable, I took it for a test walking on rough ground and up and down steps and the footage is amazingly smooth, the facial recognition feature is great for keeping yourself in shot, although you need good lighting for it to work properly. I would recommend this product to any youtuber looking for that professional look in there videos

Amazing bit of gear, feels very well built. Regardless of a couple of small issues with mine on arrival I still wholeheartedly recommend purchasing. Some units arrive with the cap of the rosette mount tightened so tight you can’t even remove it with pliers. if so dji will sort it out for you straight away or return for a replacement unit with amazon. There is a bug in the app that can cause 4K video to stutter but read forums for a work around as dji are releasing update to fix !

Use it with your ever upgradeable phone camera, use it with a go pro, the choice is here and as a steady cam its really easy to use and a great buy for the money. sometimes wish the motion control was a little smoother in the way it moves, but otherwise it's great.

Very very very good! Would be good if there was a tripod mount on the bottom like the Osmo Mobile 2 and the original Osmo. But still good. Very smooth and very good battery life.

Great bit of kit but an upgraded newer version is out feb/mar 2018. New version has better features and will be less than half the price. Wish I had waited.

A bit bulky. The color is amazing. Make sure you have a good phone with a great camera. Otherwise, you're wasting money.
