I got this game last week, it is really good. I completed all the levels last night although on some of them i still have recipes to unlock so i can always go back and play and try get better scores. It could of done with been a little longer, but it's still really good. It's also quite challenging in parts. And the recipes are delicious! But later on there's this guy who hates meat but orders meat dishes so you have to 'vegify' his meals and if you dont do it right, he leaves without paying, he's so annoying! Also you need to have your volume up so you can hear what they are talking about which was difficult in my house since the telly we use for the Wii has no speaker socket and it's in the main room along with the main tv!lol but that's a small thing since most people use their regular tv's.The Wiimote is always in use and actually gives whatever arm you use a good workout! mine was aching after chopping and frying etc...! It took a little while to work out how to use stuff but the game does tell you along the way and you have a tutorial at the start which covers the basics. Also knowing how to use spices is a must so if you can get the hang of that it's all good. And you will get the hang of it. Once you get used to everything you will soon be whizzing around the kitchen. It's also worthwhile hiring good help! If you get the staff right you will be knocking out pretty perfect meals. Also i was looking at Cooking Mama for the Wii but this game, review wise, seems so much better. I wish games like this were advertised more, it seems you have to dig around to find decent games! but anyway, i digress! So if you enjoy cooking i definately recommend this :D

This game was a great idea especially with the wii, had it been any other console I don't I would have even considered buying it. The graphics are nice not going to change gaming but this is only a 2nd gen platform after all and the rotund, kooky characters suit the game perfectly. The game starts in an aeroplane where there is a male and female Chef, you choose which one you want to play with and it suddenly falls out of a trap door and into a dumpster beside a fast food restaurant. Your Chef takes a job at the fast food place which is basically a tutorial. At the end of the day your Chef sees its pay check and it outraged to find that it actually owes money for uniform and such,so the Chef quits it job. After leaving the fast food place in a huff your Chef finds a diner that is up for sale and you buy it. You then have to complete a number of tasks to make the diner a 5 star restaurant. You earn coin from running your restaurant efficiently which you can use to buy any number of things such as new recipes, assistant Chef's, spices to make your food better, black market recipes and better equipment for your kitchen. And that is the basic idea of the game.Once you turn the Diner in to a 5 star restaurant and you have enough coin you can buy a Mexican restaurant which is much of the same and so on. The worst thing about this game is that it can get a bit samey but the best os that it isn't too easy that adults can enjoy it and it isn't too hard that kids can't play it.Overall I would most definitely recommend the game, I mean when you look at the price where csn you go wrong.

I initially looked into buying Cooking Mama, but after reading through reviews I decided to take a risk on Order Up! instead. I am glad I did!As soon as I started on Order Up! I was hooked! You start off in a burger bar where you 'train', flipping burgers, cooking fries and chopping salad. As you progress through the game you move on to buying bigger and better restaurants serving food of different styles (e.g. American Diner style, Italian, Mexican). You also get to know your customers and if you cook the food to their specific liking, you get more tips! The money you gain can be used to improve your kitchen equipment/hire staff/buy spices etc. The wii remote is in constant action for stirring, chopping, flipping pans etc. I also found no problems with the controls (very responsive etc).Once you manage to make your restaurant 5 star (by completing tasks including impressing the food critic) you may move onto buying your next restaurant. You can hire cooking staff for your restaurant and give them jobs to help get your food to the table quicker and whilst still hot.A really good game in my opinion. The game counts your hours of gameplay, I think I completed it in something like 8 hours but it may be done in less. The game doesn't 'stop' there, you can always carry on playing but no more new restaurants etc will become available.

This is a great fun game that my whole family have enjoyed. A quick tutorial teaches you the basics of cooking using the Wii Remote and you quickly buy your own restaurant. You move on up by making cash and basically buyng more recipes - the quicker and more efficient you are the more coin you make. Then you buy a posher retaurant with trickier recipes but the chance to make more cash. It's not rocket science, but most of the fun is in making the food and getting it out properly before it goes cold. Most of the techniques are easy-peasy to master, although for some reason chopping and carving are always tricky. Even when you've actually completed the game (which doesn't take long)it doesn't make much difference as you can just go back to the restaurants and carry on frying. Older teenagers or anyone wanting a challenge will be bored and frustrated by the easyness and the repetition but younger children (mine are aged 3 to 12) will love it. One warning - the menus are delicious, don't play it when you're on a diet!

I bought this game after reading the great reviews it had received from other people. I am new to the Wii and this was one of the first games I bought and I have to say I love it!!It's extremely easy to get the hang of and has a little icon in the corner to tell you how to work something e.g. flip a frying pan, so great for young kids or if you're forgetful like me!This game is more than cooking you have to impress the food critic and hygiene guy, earn enough coins to clean up your restaurant, employ helpers (which are great for the tasks you have trouble doing) and make the equipment better. There are different restaurants so all different types of food to cook and picky customers to serveso you are definately kept on your toes - especially when you have to wake up a sleeping assistant or clear rats out of the kitchen!Despite being 21 I thoroughly enjoy playing this game so definately one for all ages. Highly recommended!

I'm glad I decided to purchase this game as I wanted a cooking style game for my Wii, I looked into the popular Cooking Mama but so many people said about how horrible the graphics were for cooking mama for wii as I have it on DS myself and a lot of people said it's nothing compared to how good the DS one is, so I decided to purchase Order Up, Order Up's graphics are a lot better than Cooking Mama's and you can also select your character, male or female, and go through a storyline of opening up different restaurants throughout the game, I would say the only downside for me is that putting on the spices seemed to confuse me a bit and I doesn't state how to in the game or in the manual so I googled it and managed to work it out.All in all I will give it a 5/5 because I love the storyline and the concept of this game.

Bought this because it was so cheap and i wanted something other than Wii Fit and Wii sports to play...To say i was suprised would be an understatement, this game realy is good fun.It follows Cooking Mamma in terms of basic gameplay but is much more focused on doing the meal in a fixed amount of time with no stopping in between preparing the ingrediants. Where as cooking mamma seems to want to score and celebrate each time you do something!.Its fast paced and has a large array of meals to make, the aim of building up your diner to a 5 star rating and then heading off into bigger places is fun and easy to obtain. This realy is a little gem of a game and worth every penny!Great for kids and kidults!!!

I was in the U.S a few weeks ago and was fortunate enough to play a demo of this while i was there. The game is really simple, you basically start off as a rookie chief working in a fast food restuarant and you slowly work your way up through the ranks, managing and cooking in a number of different styled restuarants (such as italian etc), until you become a 'Master Cheif'!. But be aware tho its not as easy as you would think. There are a couple of cool things you get to do along the way tho like have a cheif cook off (kind of like ready steady cook! lol) which is really fun! so overall ide give this game a fun 10!!

This game is ace. Its so addictive. I loved it so did my 8 year old daughter and my husband. And when you have completed the game you can do it all again in advanced mode. I'm suprised it is not more well known.
