My 8 year old daughter was lucky enough to be using this brush, one of he favourite colours is purple and lucky for her the one she has is purple as wellThe contents of what you get are exactly what you would come to think in a toothbrush of this type, in fact it’s very similar to an adults toothbrush except for the colour and brush head providedShe tells me that the timer function is very good as it tells her when to change sidesShe tells me that the brush can hurt her gums but I’ve told her to be. Ore gentle when brushing, I think an indicator to tell her when she is brushing too hard would be a good ideaThere’s a better feature with these brushes because on the older brush we had there was no battery indicator to tell me when the brush was charging.

My son loves his new electric toothbrush. Previously he had a battery operated one, this is so much better. The head is gentle and ideal for kids as it doesn't feel hard when brushing. When on, the spinning action of the brush seems to be faster and smoother, giving a more effective clean. I also like the fact that after 30 seconds it buzzes so my son knows to move onto the next area of his mouth. With his previous brush he would use it for about a minute or less then finish brushing his teeth. With this, he brushes for the full two minutes so I know he is brushing his teeth properly. Very pleased with it and will buy more for my other children.

This is what my 10 year old thought....I thought your toothbrush was amazing, I haven't used an electric one before and found the experience fun, I loved the big chunky handle as it meant I could get a firm grip. It was slightly rough on my teeth and gums but this could be because I'm not used to an electric toothbrush, bit loud also. That said my teeth felt so much cleaner after, I love it. This is what my 6 year old thought....At first I was nervous but then found myself giggling as it tickled when I was brushing my teeth. Mom normally has to nag me to brush my teeth but not anymore! I loved the pink colour handle as its my favourite colour.

I gave this Oral-B product to our nearly 7 year old who has so far always hated electric toothbrushes due to having issues with enamel on his adult teeth making them super sensitive, he's still not very keen on using the brush on for the back molars which hurt but he's happy to get all the other parts of his mouth cleaned with the brush on. I'm sure due to the extra gentle brush head we will get there though. Setup and charging is easy albeit we needed to get an adapter.Having the 2 minute timer is a great feature, it enables us to be sure we have truly brushed enough. My 6 year old has been using this brush for two weeks and we have seen a huge improvement. He likes to be independent so knowing he is brushing correctly is a real challenge. He loves using this brush, he thinks it is fun to use and will use it until he hears to two minute pulse. I have noticed he brushes for longer, wants to brush and in turn, his teeth are cleaner and whiter. There is not a pressure sensor indicator so i do have to watch that he isn't pushing too hard. Overall a great brush for a 6 year old and a fab way to encourage great brushing habits for life [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My daughter tried this out and she was initially drawn to the colour, most kids are attracted to items by sight, it’s perfect for 6+ children. It’s coloured so more distinctive from my own toothbrush as is “special” to my child. This toothbrush is super lightweight and the perfect size for children’s mouths, her mouth and teeth are thoroughly cleaned and the 2 minuet timer is a great feature to help children learn the reccomended cleaning time. The Brissels are soft and flexible and my child had no discomfort whatsoever. Awesome product for slighter older children. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is an amazing, gentle but effective new brush. Lovely to have the purple colour - and my little one was so proud to have a brush more like Mummys (and not a 'baby one with barbie or princesses on).! This has certainly increased the brushing time - although it's hard for a six year old to detect the ' timer buzzes' initially - once they get it though they love it! A great improvement for children's oral health - nice! We can;t wait for the green coloured one to become available in the shops, my Son is now desperate for one too :-) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is my 14 year olds first experience of an electric toothbrush. He has commented that his teeth feel much cleaner. He finds it a little bit awkward to use but I think this is because he has only ever been used to holding a slim manual handle. I feel he may still be using too much pressure as the bristles are beginning to splay after less than 2 weeks and he has a sore gum/ulcer, perhaps a pressure sensor for this age range would be beneficial to teach them how to use it correctly. A easy to use toothbrush that helps a child brush their teeth properly. Whilst my daughter initially found the action a bit 'tough' on her teeth - she quickly adjusted to it and found it a great deal better than her original standard battery toothbrush. She found the 30 second interval vibrations really useful and helped her brush her teeth for the correct about of time. The battery life is really good too and she has said she'd recommend it in a heartbeat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son really likes this brush and it is much better than the cheaper electric brushes aimed at children. My son is better at brushing for longer with this brush because of the time indicator. This is really helpful in our house as I often have to send him back in the bathroom to do his teeth again as he has not brushed for long enough. I have to say my son is much keener to clean his teeth with this brush than with previous brushes- long may it continue! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This has been trialed by my 8 year old daughter and she has loved it. The timer on the brush has been very useful for her to know how long to brush for and she likes the light buzzing it gives every 30 seconds to let her know how she’s doing. She’s got the hang of brushing gently all over with it quickly and easily and her teeth are definately looking shiner than they were before. Fantastic for children as a starter point from a manual brush. The brush itself is a lot softer than the adult brush head. It also makes children realise how long 2minutes actually is, getting them to brush for 2minutes is actually the new challenge. The only thing I would say is when will oral be start making usb style chargers cause it’s a pain getting adapters unless you have the proper socket in the bathroomPs my daughter was 5 when she started with it, Dentist recommended to switch over

I am in my late 40's and have small hands and mouth. I bought this toothbrush to replace a Phillips Sonicare which after several years sadly broke. I was happy before that with an Oral B so decided to go back to using one when I saw the 'youngsters' version. It has most of the features of the full sized version but it has a slightly smaller shaft. My only grumble is the on off button is still, in my opinion, in the wrong place and makes it awkward to hold the handle especially with wet hands.

My 11yr old daughter had wanted an electric toothbrush for ages but I felt that she was too young. This junior toothbrush is ideal to introduce to younger children. I showed my daughter how to use it and clean it afterwards. Her teeth already look whiter and she is brushing for the whole 2 minutes! The brush head is the sensitive one which is good for young children.Her gums were sore to start with but have now settled down. I will probably upgrade her model in a couple of years time.

At first my son wished it was a ‘boys colour’ but we talked about it being a grown up brush and he was fine. He thought it felt chunkier than his old electric brush but once he used it he was fine. He said he like the 30 seconds for each area as it taught him to focus on four areas rather than the whole mouth. His teeth look much cleaner and his front teeth in particular look better after only 2 weeks! It’s a winner in our house [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
