The instructions say "Mist on Rapidry Nail Polish Drier 45 seconds after applying final coat of nail polish".I have tried countless brands of nail polish through the years, particularly those that claim to be quick drying. I also use Seche Vite, a clear polish which works like a fast drying top coat, solidifying polish making it drier, quicker. We all want to do our nails and then go and despite the convenience of Gel Polish with its instant UV curing, we can't all afford that regular price tag, nor do we know the full long term consequences of repeated UV light on hands. But unless you have at least a good hour to let standard polish dry, it will smudge, get marked and anything you do with your hands ruins it.Especially when you're in a hurry, we have all messed up our nails (that we were sure were dry) by zipping up jeans or opening a handbag, haven't we?So to give this product a full test, I painted some nails (with my much hated, slow drying OPI polish) and let them dry naturally. After 45 seconds the nails were still wet to touch and after a good five minutes I was able to make smudges and dents in the polish. It was not dry. On the second few nails I painted the same OPI polish and then left them for the recommended 45 seconds before spraying 1 pump of the Rapidry on top. I waited around 1 more minute (for the wet spray to evaporate) then touched the second set of nails, which were absolutely dry and solid and I could not make ANY marks on the nail polish itself. I also tested the same OPI nail polish on more nails but didn't leave it the recommended 45 seconds, just to see if this made any difference, and it did not. After spraying the Rapidry it was still as solid even when sprayed straight away. Furthermore I tested the Rapidry spray on two of my other nail polishes, and it worked exactly the same.I thought this would be a gimmick, a waste of money. I thought I'd dislike it as much as my only slow drying OPI polish. How wrong was I! This is incredible! Definitely a 'Holy Grail' product. This simple, clear spray makes any nail polish immediately dry, rock hard, smudge proof and basically solid. The same as UV polish from a salon. Simply paint your nails, add top coat if you wish then spray this Rapidry over the top and you're done. Note: The spray does not alter the finish of your actual nail polish either. So matt polish stays matt. The only downsides I found, and I'm being really picky here, are: the writing on the bottle is tiny - so is the bottle; and the spray pumps out too much in my opinion, so some product seems to get wasted. But that's it.

If you're the type who loves nail polishes but inevitably ends up with at least one wrecked nail, is too impatient to sit and let them cure properly or needs the loo as soon as you've applied the last swipe of polish this is the product for you.Despite the prices I've been a big fan of OPI since my mum used to visit their first little trade shop in the west London suburbs that later became a smoked salmon shop as the brand took off over here. There is a quality about this brand and I have never been disappointed with any product they have made though occasionally I've been less than enthusiastic about the colours, the formulations are consistently brilliant.Rapidry is no exception once you have realistic expectations of the product,it's not a spray and instant set, it takes a minute at least for the spray to dissapate and your manicure is 'cured' enough not to get smudges, nicks or texture imprinting. We tested this in a number of finishes including heavy handed application and paper thin layers and it worked to harden the top layers enough to get on with what you need to, and was great to spritz over my little girls toes when she wanted to be like mummy but I didn't want her youthful impatience grinding not quite set nail polish into the carpet.Overall an excellent as expected product from the ever impressive OPI.

This rapid dry spray from OPI comes in a small aerosol free, pump action 55ml bottle. It says that it dries nail lacquer quickly and shortens frustrating drying time. Directions are to mist on nails 45 seconds after applying final coat of nail polish. This is a handy size bottle and sprays a fine mist over nails. It is easy to use and a nice ‘hand’ size, I will say that you may need to put something down, like a towel or tissue, because it sprays on more than just your fingers (and it left a little greasy residue stain on the tissue I put down) I also thought, because of this, it was a little wasteful. I would have preferred a little more direction of how to use, such as how far away, how many ‘pumps’ etc. Also it doesn’t say just how long it takes to dry your nails, so you have to use your judgment on all of these!! It does have the most wonderful smell and there’s a little bit of moisturising going on, so it leaves a lovely sheen to your fingers too. After spraying I waited 2 minutes and my nails were dry enough to go about my business and at 30 minutes I was very pleased to find that they were completely dry!I would recommend this OPI rapid-dry to anyone in a hurry! It is a great product, smells wonderful, leaves a nice shine and it works ;)

I've used OPI Rapidry Lacquer Spray before and was delighted to be offered this to review as it's not a cheap product; I was a bit concerned that this product arrived unboxed with minimal instructions in tiny, tiny print on the back label. I've managed to decode them and this appears to be the real thing. It certainly works as if it is.Basically you paint your nails as usual and apply this spray 45 seconds after applying your top coat. Within a minute you are good to go.Rapidry is a really fine mist, doesn't have a strong smell thankfully. Rapidry not only dries your nails quickly and makes it possible to get out of the door speedily but it definitely appears to offer a little bit of extra protection against chipping and flaking.I've not had any particular reaction to using OPI Rapidry, although some people report flaking nails. The loss of a star is due to the minimal packaging and hard to read instructions for this particular bottle.

OPI Rapidry Lacquer Spray 60ml is something I like to have in my box of nail varnish tricks as it has saved me not only time but also previous to having this i was continually getting smudges or even the dreaded "sheet" marks if I was silly enough to paint my nails before going to bed.Now I am able to paint my nails, give a spray of the OPI Rapidry Lacquer Spray and within a few minutes, my nail varnish is bone dry.Why I love this product is mainly because I previously would have used the drops or other sprays you can purchase but this is the only one I can paint my nails, use this product - yet my varnish does not chip compared to the other products.OPI Rapidry Lacquer Spray is a first class product, and to make it perfect I wish the makers would sell it in a bigger bottle as I like to change my colours and this little bottle soon disappears with continuous use.

I have read about these kind of products on the style and beauty pages of the UK's most popular parenting website, so I kind of knew what to expect. I paint my fingernails every five days and my toenails, every three weeks, using brands such as Barry M, L'Oreal, Rimmel and Boots No7, all of which are sandwiched between a Rimmel base and a top coat. The issue I find is that, despite my best efforts, the polish does tend to smudge whilst drying, hence why this product could be incredibly useful.Anyway, I've just painted all 20 of my nails and, as directed, have sprayed on this OPI Rapidry 45 seconds after the aplication of the top coat. I must say that, for a manicure product,it smells rather nice and that my nails seemed to dry much faster than usual. So, will it last? Time will tell. Is it expensive, well, yes - it is rather, hence the 4* rating.

I bought this spray and an opi nail varnish on offer recently at an airport. I had some time to waste so thought I would do my nails while waiting for flight. This was first time I used the spray and was a bit sceptical. Amazingly it worked , I was able to do my nails and they were dry quickly , and they did not smudge and lasted over a week . Since then I have tried the spray with other non opi nail varnishes , some don't seem to dry so well . This stuff works great on most varnishes tho, but opi varnish seems to be best , not sure why . I don't know how I didn't discover it before , it's pricey, but worth it . It is miles better than so called quick dry top coats , for me anyway ! Five stars ,and I like the small bottle , 60 ml, can take in hand luggage or make up bag . I have used the spray 5 times and have used about an eighth of the bottle .

This is just the job for using when doing a pedicure, done mine this afternoon and forgot just how good an item it is.Dries your nail polish no matter which make fast, when doing toes and needing to walk about without looking like a crab sliding across the floor even better. A great product but the only gripe I have is the price of it and why I stopped buying it a while back.Just is easy to use though do nails then spray for a quick dry, saves ages waiting about and then smudges just when you thought it was safe to move. I would buy this if slightly cheaper in price. Tomorrow manicure so will see how easy to shoot and spray when finger nails wet, as seemed so easy with toes today. When used to use it kept it just for pedicures as was costly (as not a big bottle) but a great product

I am queen of shabby nail varnish. I love the stuff but have yet to have 20 perfect nails all at the same time despite many years of practise. So this Rapidry talks a big talk. It hasn't met me yet...So, two coats of Essie 'Needs a Vacation' and here I am, moments later with seemingly dry nails. They're not perfect cos, y'know, I suck at nail polish. But my cack-handed thick layers seem to be dry. I haven't explored too much and they feel slightly tacky to the touch but it's a different kind of tacky so probably the spray. But no, they're dry. I can go and cook dinner!Just a shame you have to only use it on the final coat. I could do with a spray in between coats as waiting for those is almost as painful.Otherwise it's good, seems to work. I like it!

I’ve used this product for years. It’s amazing! I used to be able to buy it at drugstores nearby but now I can’t find it anywhere! I thought it had been discontinued, but figured I’d check online and what do you know, good old Amazon to the rescue! Dries your nails in seconds. You don’t need much, just one spritz. It doesn’t smell strong, and it’s not sticky or slimy on your skin either. I love this stuff! A miracle product if you’re doing multiple colours/designs/nail art… cuts down the time immensely. I’m 100% loyal to this brand too. OPI is the best! I purchased many other brands when I couldn’t find OPI anymore, and this one is the quickest working, with no awful smell or residue.

There's not too much to say here; (1) you paint your nails, (2) wait a minute or two so the polish is tacky but not totally wet, (3) spray this over your nails = the polish sets and is rock hard within one minute.Yes, it really works that well. Everytime I do my nails I use a quick drying spray or quick dry drops (who has time to waste sitting & waiting for the nails to dry?) and this has become one my standouts, as a few of the other ones I've tried [Avon & New Look are my most recent trial fails] caused patchiness on my fresh mani, so I ended up needing to redo my nails. I also like the bottle shape and the depressor; it's easy to grip and spray when using my non-dominant hand.

Speeds up nail drying time so nails are touch dry sooner. I tried it on two coats of polish, a couple of sprays per nail and it dried well enough for me to not smudge any of my nails. I tend to paint the nails on both hands and then apply drying product, so rather than wrap my fingers around the bottle as you would normally, I found that I could spray the product on by holding my thumb underneath the bottle and using my forefinger to press the button. You can get a similar effect by plunging your hands into a sink full of cold water for a minute though if you don't want to shell out for a product like this.

24.7.2016

The big downside (and reason it loses a star) is the spray goes everywhere. You really need to have your hand over a sink or a towel. That said, it does seem to help nail varnish become touch dry faster, it has a pleasant smell, but they will ding and dent still until the varnish has properly cured. My girls prefer the drip-dry drops which have more control and precision.Of course being under 100ml it is suitable to cabin luggage if you're going on hols and want something to help with your daily manicure, and that is a big advantage.

I'm a long-term user of Opi products so I was delighted to receive this one product free from Vine. This spray dries nail plaque almost instantly. It works exactly as it should. My sole negative comment is that, being a spray, there's inevitably some waste - some product which is not directed at the nail, no matter how much you don't intend it. As the product is expensive (although worth it), this is a bit wasteful and potential buyers should be aware of it.

This is a great way to speed things up when you are in a rush. It just takes a small spray on to the varnish and before you know it your manicure is dry, strong and free from the danger of smudging.Whilst it is made by OPI it is not limited to this brand and will work effectively on any brand of nail varnish. It does not alter the finished colour of your manicure in any way, has little to no smell to it and does not feel greasy or oily.
