In 20 years of regular swimming I'd never found good anti-fog goggles or a de-misting spray that really worked, but this is excellent. I swim mostly under water, so it's a real boon to find a spray that can cope with this treatment without the need for frequent reapplication. It's easy to apply, doesn't smell or leave any residue, and works for well over an hour. I swim an hour once a week, and the anti-fog lasts until about 15 minutes into the next week's session, so I just respray it before each session, rather than wait for it to wear off. I don't know if it would last several sessions if I swim every day - is it the time since application that matters, or the time spent in the water? But who cares? All that matters is a couple of squirts of this means I can swim happily for over an hour.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update Jan 2014:Having lost my anti-fog spray, I checked back through my Amazon orders to reorder, only to discover, that not only is it now significantly dearer, but the postage is now MORE than the product! What appears to cost £5.20, actually sets you back £11.21! (Free delivery only on orders over £10.)Needless to say, I didn't reorder from Amazon. I put the product name into Google and the 4th site I checked out (Wetsuit Outlet) not only charged less for the spray (£5), but the postage was free. So - less than half price compared to Amazon.I was tempted to knock off some stars for this, but it's not the product's fault, so it stays at 5.

I had several swim goggles and all claimed to be anti-fog. The first time I put them on they really would do their job and not fog!But the following times the anti-fog started wearing off up to where I had to start using my saliva almost after every 50 metres swim. Horrible as you all know.But…. Not now anymore. After using this spray this is all now gone. It just works as indicated. As some say here that it has to be put on a few minutes before going into the water…. I sometimes forget and put it on just before using them.Yes, you will need to rinse them briefly so that the (spray) mist is washed off.I have my goggles for about 30 to 45 minutes on and have no fog what so ever. But one thingto be noted is – if you take the goggles off and rinse them again then you will have fog again. As long as you don’t do that you should be good.I must say that I was a bit sceptical as some reviews were not very positive. Could it be that there are variants of the product in circulation?Edit: I use it twice a week and noticed that it was a year ago when I bought this the last time based on my frequency of using this I think anyone else can calculate how many time one can use it. I still use it every time and cannot do without it. But let's see if the next bottle works for me as I cannot understand how it works for some but not others. Will come back here with the results

I bought this antifog spray to use for my Samsung Gear VR headset. I found that when I put the headset both lenses would mist over and not go away. If this was going to happen during summer, when the temperature difference is minimal, it was only going to get worse over the colder months.I decided to test the efficacy of this product, so I went ahead and put the headset on with no treatment. Before the front menu in Occulus loaded the lenses had already misted up. I removed the headset and wiped the lenses using a microfiber cloth, then put the headset back on. Lo and behold, they misted up again.I then sprayed the Cressi Antifog spray onto the lense, one squirt each, and gently cleaned the lense surface using a microfibre cloth. There were some smears on the lense, but if you wait for 30 seconds this will evaporate off leaving a streak-free finish. I donned the headset and voila, no misting! I managed to play a game for 30mins - 45mins before I decided to take a break, and still no misting up! I noticed that my forehead was a little sweaty and the lenses were still crystal clear. On the next day, I did find that the lenses would mist up so you need to re-apply this spray. With one squirt in each lense, this bottle should last a long time. All in all, I am very impressed with this product!

Love this stuff, works very well. I used this for the first time recently and would never head into the water again without it on my mask. Snorkelled extensively for 2 weeks in the Mediterranean and didn't have one single issue with fogging.Goes a long way too. I used for 2 weeks on 2 different masks and when we came home I reckon we'll get another holiday out of the same bottle. If you use it right, this will do the job. The is process that worked for me...1. Take your mask out and clean off any residue from sun tan lotion or dirty fingers with a dry towel or cloth so your lens is clean and smudge free.2. Rinse in the water, one quick dip will do.3. Shake off the excess so its still wet but not full of water.4.2 or 3 sprays inside your mask on the lens (obviously!).5. Swish around the residue to make sure the lens is totally covered then leave it aside for a couple minutes and let it sit on the lens.6. Dip in water for a very quick rinse, literally in and straight out. You don't want to rinse it all off.7. Mask on and away.On this trip I taught my 10 year old son to snorkel and expected his mask to fog like a sauna window given he's never breathed through only his mouth before. Used this on his mask too, didn't fog once.Happy days!

I think my eyeballs must create steam as every single pair of swim goggles I have steam up or `fog' as it is called in the trade. So after my latest `anti- fog goggles started acting like I was swimming in a `pea souper' I decided that I needed help.I had seen some of these products before so took a punt on this one. The first time used it I had limited results as I sprayed and was swimming 10 minutes later. After five or six uses I have worked out how it works best. That is spray at least half an hour before use and then you should be able to get a couple of hour's pool time before they start to have problems.I have found that I need to spray them every time so not sure how long the bottle will last.By the way one of the suppliers here charge the same for postage as this product costs so do check what you are being fully charged as I made a bit of a mistake on that one. So not a perfect product but it does get results most of the time, hence my rating. And when you say that you have `anti fog spray' it makes you sound like a stand in for `Batman'; so you get about ten seconds kudos at the pool before everyone starts to ignore you.

I was in two minds as to whether to buy this as it had mixed reviews. I wear prescription goggles which means that my goggles are even more expensive than the "normal" goggles. At the time of buying the antifog spray, I was only able to swim 2 lengths before the goggles would steam up making me pause in my swimming to clear them - this is time consuming - so I was pretty desperate! The first time I used the spray I was absolutely amazed! It was like having new goggles again. I was able to swim 4km without stopping once! I made sure that I did exactly as instructed - spray a little on either side of the lens' and rubbed well with my finger, leave it on for a couple of minutes before rinsing and wearing.Just so that you are aware, you will need to use the spray EVERY time you go swimming and if for any reason during your swimming session you take your goggles off, you will find that they will start to steam up again when you put them back on even if they were only off for a couple of minutes! I would definitely recommend anyone who has a problem with goggles steaming up to try this spray!

I read on a website this stuff would prevent glasses huffing up when wearing surgical masks. Of course, at the moment, this is an issue many people are facing.I tested it on one pair of my father's glasses and he was incredibly happy with the results, his glasses no longer huffed up. It last for about three days before it needed reapplying. When I reapplied the solution to my father's glasses, I decided to do my wife's glasses and my Oakley sunglasses, because my Oakleys huff up like crazy with the mask.My wife was also pleased with the results, however, after applying it to my Oakleys and rubbing it in with my finger, I noticed the coating on the inside of the lens flaking. Now,my Oakleys are ruined and I'll need to purchase new sunglasses, it was an upsetting result. That being said, I am not blaming the product because it is sold for diving and swimming masks, not glasses. I did this from the recommendation from a website.Nevertheless, if you wear spectacles, it will stop the huffing.

I was hesitant given mixed reviews about this but having recently bought some new goggles and found the anti-fog coating only lasted a few weeks I was wanting to try something as the goggles were not cheap. This works very well. Have used the for a constant swim up to 2km in indoor pool and no fogging at all. I think how you use this stuff is key. Here is what I do. 1) apply one spray to inside of each lens before getting changed, 2) wipe around inside with finger and leave, 3) rinse under cold water shower for couple of seconds before entering pool, 4) put on googles being careful not to touch inside.....swim till tired! I suspect a rinse in cold without touching lenses is key. Also instructions suggest spray on inside and outside.....outside of course being completely pointless for swimming. It's a physical impossibility to fog on the outside in the water! Two squirts - happy days. Not exactly cheap for a bit of spray on detergent but it works.

So, this is a surfactant which stops fog build up. Follow the logic through, fog builds up on nucleation sites (rough bits) so if you have old goggles which are worn out there simply isn't anything which can smooth over these rough bits and stop the problem. Now, in contrast, start from new goggles and apply every time and you've a perfect solution. I swim daily and replace goggles every 9 months. Following the routine of two squirts per lens each day I literally never have a problem.Interestingly I took the same goggles on holiday last week without this spray and was indeed getting fogging within 5 minutes (meaning in their native form these goggles do fog)...so the spray is working great when I use it (these goggles are 7 months old, so getting worn out).Ignore the idiot reviews which are using this spray on things which aren't swimming/diving goggles, start with new goggles and use it each swim and it is a great product.

My goggles are bottom of the range Speedo, UV + Ant-Fog but the anti-fog just doesn't work. Never did.So no need to spend a lot of money on goggles if you have this product.A few tips that took me a few years to perfect. I'm one of the few people who doesn't have anti-fog spittle!!!1. Spray on, rub with finger before changing, so leave for about 5 minutes. Rinse briefly when you get in. Use the product every time.2. If you're warm before you get in, don't put goggles on for 2-3 minutes - allow face to cool down. Stops any perspiration condensing on the cold goggles.3. When putting on and adjusting goggles, hold your breath!Mostly we're spluttering and gasping when adjusting goggles and treading water - but even a slight amount of breath will condense on the inside, so don't do it.I can now swim for 3-4K in open water < 16 degrees without ever touching my goggles and they stay crystal clear.

Similar experience to other users. My new googles started to fog after half a dozen swims. My pump spray did not work either. I pour a drop or two on to one lens then tip half of that over to the other lens. I use a finger to wipe it around then rince in pre-swim shower. I do this every time, on the inside only. I swim for 1h in all (backstroke), with some rests, sometimes taking my googles off. I leave my googles to dry after every swim and have noticed an oily film on the lens. I have not tested to see how many swims I can get with one treatment as I do not want to get out of the pool once I start! I have had about 10 swims so far with about half the bottle left and may get more swims if the spray worked.I will buy again.Update: This bottle, bought in March 2012 has just run out and a new bottle ordered. I think it actually lasted for more than 40 swims.

I'm an endurance swimming - working out at my local pool 6-7 days per week. Maintaining good visibility is essential in my training sessions which can span 2+ hours at a time. This spray does the trick - a quick spray on each inside lens and a gentle rub around with your index finger to ensure even coverege is all it takes - I then leave the spray to work for about a minute whilst I pack my locker and rinse the goggles in the pool before placing them in position for the swim ahead. My first bottle lasted ~6 months and had no hesitation in ordering another.I've used this spray with various Aquasphere / Speedo and Zoggs Predator goggles. The regular Zoggs Predators with the smokey or blue lenses are perfect - however,I am yet to find anything that will keep the mirrored version's lenses clear (please post if you've found anything that works!)

Always had a problem with snorkeling goggles fogging up repeatedly during a swim.... spitting into the goggles didn't work, cleaning thoroughly with detergent didn't work, I've experimented with lots of suggested remedies but still had the annoying fogging. This spray however DOES work, perfectly. Just got back from a weeks holiday, snorkeling twice a day at least, and no fogging at all. I would rinse my goggles in the evening with clean water and then either spray that evening or in the morning. Use one or two squirts inside, rub it around the glass with fingers, then leave to dry. When dry, i would buff the glass with clean toilet tissue to remove any smears. Then when walking into the sea I would briefly rinse the goggles and they're ready to go. Really pleased to be able to snorkel with totally clear vision now. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing product. I use it for my swimming goggles. I don’t know about any other kinds of eye wear or helmets. But if your using this for swimming goggles then I highly recommend it. My goggles would literally steam up after 10 seconds of putting them on I could barely start a length. I received this product last night and I went for a swim at 6am this morning. Before I left to go to the pool I sprayed 3-4 times inside and out each lens (might of been too much but hey it worked) I then swiped them clean with a tissue. I swam for 2 hours and not one bit of fog or smearing. My goggles are clearer than they have ever been. I’m not sure if I’m going to have to reapply it for next time but I think I can get at least another swim before reapplying.Personally I think it’s a great product and would Highly recommend it.

does a cracking jobthe anti fog coating on my Nike goggles has long since gone (and never really worked in the first place!), but this stuff always lasts the full length of my workout - typically 45 minutes.how it would fare in a cooler pool (where I find fogging is worse -> cooler lenses = easier for moisture to condense on the lens), I don't know, but I guess mine is an average temperature, and it does the businessall you do is remove any excess moisture from your lenses, apply one spray in each eyepiece, making sure the spray is directed to cover the entire lens, leave it about 10-15 seconds, dunk ONCE in the pool water to remove excess, shake the water off then you're good to goI'm not sure how long 30cc will last, time will tell, but the stuff definitely works
