It really is a dark grey, not black, grey. I wish there was a black or even a mirror grey/black available on amazon but there isnt. It is nice but it also seems to make certain hues brighter (such as yellow lenses) which can be useful in some situations.The lens is very thick and should last a long time, added to that the cheap price and this is a win-win.

Although tough to get in place, it is a quality item and the polarized lenses work perfectly in the bright Winter sunlight.

fit well and could have been darker. I wish they were darker for the sun here in AZ. I would get them again.
