I really like the colours in this set. I’m sick of so many palettes coming out and only having a few vivid shades and being full of neutral tones that are in very other palette - often I’d find myself grabbing a palette simply for two shades when I have perhaps fifteen of the others so it feels often like a waste of money. This palette however has some absolutely stunning shades in it and NO neutrals you don’t need.There is a tiny bit of inconsistency with some of the formulas but its not huge enough to be a massive issue unless the four colours that were poor are the only ones you’d want. I found that a couple of the shades are a bit chalky and wishy-washy. The top row for instance (in my palette anyway)the first three shades, red, pink and orange are buttery and vibrant, but the fourth shade (a sort of rusty shade) was barely there even with a finger swatch. On the middle row, again, purple, magenta and rose pink were lovely and bright, but the fourth shade, a sort of lavender, was again, chalky and faded. Third row, the first three blues/turquoise are super pigmented and bright, but the fourth shade - minty green - was quite powdery and didn’t stick well. On the fourth row, the first green (deep forest green) is super pigmented but the green next to it (sort of pistachio shade) is powdery and didn’t show. Orange is strong, the yellow was too pale for me (but with the right skin tone, like super dark skin with a white primer it would really pop!}. You’d likely get a really good colour payoff if you use the right primers first.In dull light, it looks like the shadows are fairly matte but half of them have a microfine glitter effect in them which is very lovely (its not like a conventional glitter, not quite like a shimmer either but there is a definite silver sparkle which is subtle but lovely, a nice surprise I didn’t think I’d be getting). Worth it for the blues and greens, but the red and purple shade are absolutely phenomenal and really eyecatching.

This is a three piece set, comprising of:1) NYX 'Worth the Hype' volume and lengthening mascara - 5 stars2) NYX Epic Ink Eyeliner - 5 stars3) NYX Ultimate Shadow Palate (warm neutrals) - 4 stars1) NYX worth the Hype Volume and lengthening mascara:I don't know what's happening to my lashes,: they use to be quite thick, moderately long and curled up. Probably age? or maybe I should do what Joanna Lumley used to do and smear vaseline on them every night.I'm also not a fan of false eyelashes or mascara if I can feel them. So I tend to buy a tube of the stuff from time to time and then forget to use it until it's too late.This NYX Mascara is good. One coat darkens the eyelashes nicely and gives some definition.But the second coat ..... woosh! Hello again eyelashes with the added bonus that the lashes still feel soft and feathery. No cons at all. This is a keeper. 5 stars2) Epic Ink Eyeliner NYX (Black)This is my favourite eyeliner because for some reason I can do a wing with it every time without messing up. It is an intense matte black which doesn't budge - even after a gym session. The only con is that it is slightly more expensive than eyeliners from other high street brands. 5 stars.3) NYX ultimate shadow palate warm neutrals16 shades: 9 mattes and 7 shimmers. The shimmers do not swatch particularly well but look very pretty when applied to the eye: think subtle gleam rather than sparkle. The matte shades look decent enough but tend to disappear on me because of my skin tone ( light brown with gold and pink undertones). Probably more suitable for the fairer skins. 4 stars

I haven't used NYX in a long while, and recently I notice their new displays in drug stores and have rediscovered the brand. It has grown leaps and bounds, I'm in love! I use the petite bright color palette, pore minimizer, liquid liner, highlight and contour liquid duo and the lip lingerie color. It lasted at least 8 hours the same color pigment as you seen in the photo. Best tips for using the eyeshadow, to get the vibrant color you need to apply with a finger, but blends perfect with a brush, do not apply with a wet brush it does not work and leaves a bit of a weird imprint in the pallet. If you've made this mistake you can just scrape off that area, but don't do it, because it waste quite a bit a product.Very little fallout, good pigment, and velvety texture, easy to blend without becoming muddy. I love the art of makeup have done my own/played around with it, then makeup for weddings and friends and events, and even FX makeup for Six Flags for five years during Halloween time. I am totally going to do more makeup styles and try all their stuff eventually, money permitting. Hopefully I can get a lot more reviews up here for everybody, because I'm telling you for the price and availability of purchase it is really amazing product, if you want to read them LOL. Only reason this particular product isn't five star is because it almost ruin the color when I used a wet brush. Just don't do that and it's perfect.

So first off I gotta say, my girlfriend helped me review this because idk a thing about makeup.I'm the bag you get the palette, a brush/pen eye liner and a small Mascara bottle and brush.First the palette, with 16 different shades, there is a nice variety, each row being different shades and types of shadow. Including matte finishes and glittery finishes that look very appealing. The white matches my skin tone so u guess if my I had a blemish or two above my eyes this would fix it so that's great. The natural feel to the palette just really brings out the neutrals and adds a bit of pop, if you wanna wear some make up but not over expose your eye lids etc, this set is great.The quality overall is great,apparently a good way to check if makeup is cheap is if it smells bad and I can confirm that this set doesn't smell bad at all.The palette itself is pretty small but it'll last a while so I'd recommend this for travel and maybe for a night out for any emergency application.*Image shows use of Mascara and eyeliner*

Alright you crazed Makeup Fanatics or even you beginners who want to play around in colorful shades, this palette right here is one of the better ones to test the waters without wanting to wade deeper into your student loans or take out a second mortgage on your home to test new makeup products and colors. Being a makeup geek myself, I've been meaning to buy this product or something similar to this one and Golly Gee Willikers, this product is awesome. I had my doubts since I wasn't too stoked about the quality of the Makeup school drop out collection, but this super pigmented palette is just the right formula and consistency to cake up without your eyelids feeling too heavy.I'm sure we've all put on a little too much on date night and wanted to shut our eyes after 5 minutes into our makeup work out. Lightweight, able to be packed on, pigminted, easy to blend, awesome product. Would 10/10 recommend this to friends who are starting out and even the ones who aren't. Awesome product, awesome price.

Okay, so these were slightly over our work budget for Secret Santa but I figured a couple of quid over the budget wasn't too bad for a reputable brand item. Plus what else do you get an early 20's new starter on your team? Especially one that comes to work in full, neutral make up every day?The Warm Neutrals palette is full of beautiful earth tones and, to be entirely honest, I was very tempted to pinch them for myself even though I rarely wear make up these days. The packaging is sleek, stylish and arrived surprisingly undamaged despite coming through the post. I was surprised at how small it was though, I thought it would have been larger with there being 16 colours. However,the packaging is minimalistic and space saving so no real complaints about the size.No applicator is included but I figure almost everyone has their own set of application tools these days so that's no biggie.Here's hoping my Secret Santa recipient likes them - I find out in 4 days *gulp*

The NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette we received was with the Warm Neutrals colours. This contains 16 warm whites to reds and browns that give an almost autumnal feel to the palette. The black case has a clear top so you can see the colours and fairly high sides to prevent the different pigments overlapping too much when you pick them up with a brush.The pigments are good quality, we've had some in the past that have crumbled as they were too dry and look flaky on the skin, but these have been really good and blended well. My daughter does cosplay so likes to use my wife's makeup for this and she was really happy with how these worked without affecting her young skin.My wife also tried these out and really likes the way they are easy to apply.The colours went down well with both of them, not too bright or over-the-top but still able to produce some good eye-catching results if needed. I'd say these colours were quite versatile.

NYX Professional MakeUp Eye Kit sublime piece of kit. This is such a lovely kit, the eyeshadows are nice and smooth and they go on easy and last for as long as needed, I put it on first thing in the morning and then had the absolute longest day in work and when I got home many, many hours later it was still looking lovely. I am so impressed with it the range of colours is nice and neutral but there is a good selection and they blend well, so if you can’t find the exact match you want you can easily blend it. The liquid eyeliner is nice and easy to use, I am not a natural with this so I struggle so much and usually end up looking like a panda,but this went on smooth and I was even able to smudge it a little when I made a mess and just decided to smudge and go with it. I haven’t used the mascara yet, but I will be using it soon, I am sure it will be the same quality as the rest, if its not I will come back and update.

NYX are one of my favourite brands. They always have such good products.The colours are really pigmented and it’s such a versatile rainbow palette. It’s not a huge palette, just over palm sized. But it’s perfect for travelling or for using bright colours occasionally. If you’re an everyday rainbow wearer, it might not last you. But the size is perfect for me.There are 16 colours in the palette including, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple in different tones. So you got opt for a super bright look, or darker more subtle look.The eyeshadow applied nicely and is easy to blend. The colours are vivid on the skin and they lasted all day.I’m not too good with makeup,but played around with a rainbow look for the photos. I can imagine some stunning results in better hands!Overall really happy with this palette, is a perfect pocket rainbow.

Reviewer here is actually my better half who has always struggled to find a subtle, yet quality eye make up kit, in other words one that compliments as opposed to one that leaves you looking more of a fashion victim than a style icon! With the NYX she was very impressed, surprisingly so - no smudging or irritation, no skin reaction or side-effects, really smooth & even application (with both liner and palette) , but above all with a little bit of careful colour matching her eyes looked absolutely stunning. As stated in the title - I don't think this kit is designed for the catwalk of some space-age, avant-garde designer, but it is perfect for those seeking to enhance their eyes with a more subtle yet classy appearance.Real quality at not a bad price (the palette sell for £16 alone) - hard not to award it a hands down recommendation.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. From a male perspective, I am reviewing this item as a potential gift: the three component items come in a smart looking black package, easy to gift wrap and, the products themselves having been tested by a female family member, I feel represents good value for money at the current retail price of £28.00.My tester reports that NYX is a great brand, using good quality pigments for their eyeshadow, the range of shades in the palette work well together and have excellent opacity. The case for the palette feels like good quality and isn't likely to crack/break.The eyeliner is waterproof,has a good applicator and goes on well.The mascara has a tapered brush and is equally good and doesn't clump when applied.All in all a good quality gift at a reasonable price.

Firstly let me say I’ve had so many palettes like this in the past that have been such a disappointment- the colours look amazing in the box but become a ghostly shadow of the colour once you actually apply it to your skin.I LOVE that these colours are genuine and true! A mix of Matt or sparkly they blend brilliantly and best of all, you can achieve so many looks. A light dusting with a bigger brush gives you a subtle hue of colour, layer up with a smaller brush that applies more directly and you can get a much stronger colour, then with the more sparkly ‘metallic’ colours, apply primer first and apply with a damp brush and you can get an incredibly strong and bright look that’s definitely notfor the faint-hearted!Absolutely over the moon with this palette 10/10

I don’t know why I expected this to be bigger but to be honest I love the compact design. It’s an ideal size for popping into a makeup bag and contains a lovely mix of autumnal colours.There’s a range of matt, satin and shimmery shades and they look really nice in combination with each other.I was slightly surprised that there was no applicator or mirror but I suppose this just adds to the cost and isn’t really necessary.Looked good all day and didn’t clump into the creases in my eyelids.I’ve got 16 new shades to try now, at less than £1 each, which is a bargain and I’m impressed with the quality as I usually go for premium branded cosmetics and these are just as good as my others which costthree times as much.Hope you found my review helpful.

I bought it to add more colour to my collection. These eyeshadows have good pigmentation, however not all of them are matte (some have a tiny bit off glitter, which looks a little unflattering). They tend to be a bit powdery and the pigmentation is really not the best, I like my sugarpill better.But if you are tight on money this is a great addition to your kit, you have lots of options with it, but i really do suggest it you use it with a base (either white or the color of the eyeshadow) it will make them pop even more.I believe this palette can work for all skintones although it might be a bit more work for the medium, medium/dark, dark.But if you are very light you will love this since it's not too pigmented for you.

My eye has been on this for a while, but the internet world was lacking in providing me with videos and blog reviews, even the swatches didn't look great...but, I love nyx shadows and these colors were calling to me. It was on sale so i snagged it. Omg. So happy. So beautiful on my fair & cool skin.My favorite is the duochrome shade, it is a gorgeous greenish brown. I also love the chocolate brown in this and the light shades (The lighter shades don't get enough love- yea, they aren't super pigmented, but, if you look at the tone of each one, they match the tone of other darker shades and that's perfect for blending out Smokey eyes)I've put all my other palettes away,this is going to be my love for awhile!!!
