My brows & hair are dk. brown & I have serious issues finding stuff that matches them-often times a lot of stuff has reddish tones & is just too warm toned & doesn't look right on me, like you'll be able to see the makeup behind the brow hairs. In person, & then the worst will be in flash photography! It's a lot harder than you'd think to find cool toned browns, & this is cool toned & matches perfectly (I got the one marked 'Blonde')! It also just is more efficient for me somehow, like I was able to get my desired look in a lot less time than it normally takes for me. I use both colors-I like to do a gradient brow so I'll use the lighter shade for the front of my brows & then the darker shade I'll use for the middle & the tail.

This product is the best eyebrow enhancing/grooming product I've ever used! It just takes a little practice and a lighter touch, but it's worth it to have visible eyebrows all day long - mine are white blonde without some sort of fill in.The packaging is compact and your provided with all you need, from actual product, to applicators. I use the angled brush to JUST touch the surface of the wax and apply along my brow, followed by the color, which is applied with the angled brush. Per my preference, I have come to use the lighter color for daily wear and the darker for evening if I know there will be low lighting (e.g. a night club or concert). AGAIN, a little of the color goes a long way,

I acquired this product around Christmas time, and since then I have almost never gone a day with out using it (if I am wearing makeup, that is). At the time of its purchase, I had sparse, thin, sad looking eyebrows from over plucking. I used a matte brown eyeshadow to fill them in, but it looked so fake. This palette is not only natural looking, but so versatile. I have jet black hair, but I still find both the dark brown and light brown very flattering, and I actually use them as eyeshadows too lol. The tools that accompany it are also just as great. I swear by the spoolie. The brush is great because it really packs in product but its so short, so I ended up throwing it out anyways.

I'm a 37 year old woman who hasn't worn much makeup in my life so I really don't know how to apply it. The most I wear is mascara and lipstick. My eyebrows aren't as thick as I'd like them to be so I've tried different brands of eyebrow pencils and different shades. The shade is always wrong, my hand isn't sturdy enough to make a steady line or I would apply too much pressure and look like Homey the Clown LOL!!! Sooooo, I decided to try this product and I LOVE it! I have dark brown (almost black) hair so I decided to try the black/gray cake powder and it's great!!! I use the gray during the day (adds just enough) and the black if I go out after hours (fyi: the pigment is really good so apply light-handed).

I am a brunette with fair, cool-toned skin. My hair is also a cool brown. I have had issues with other products being too red-toned and looking very noticeable and fake in my brows. This product in Taupe/Ash is the best! I first use the little spoolie to brush through my brows straight up to get them going in all the same direction. Then I use the small brush with the powder on the right to fill in my brows starting with the middle section/arch and then working in towards the center with the leftover powder. I comb through my brows again and then finish with Maybelline clear mascara/brow gel. I haven't tried the wax that comes with this product because I love the look I get with the brow gel.

Hands down, THIS is the absolute BEST eyebrow powder on earth. Seriously! First of all, I applaud NYX for actually making a black/grey powder. Have you any idea how hard it is for us women with black hair to find a decent eyebrow powder? Sure...the "experts" tell you to go with a taupe. That's ridiculous. Any "taupe" or brown eyebrow powder does NOT blend with my natural dark brows and it turns orangey. Thank goodness for this product! I have one extra black/grey powder with my travel makeup. I have one at home that I"m currently using and a back up just in case Ulta runs out! I do use my own brush because I have a "thing" about brushes--it's the product that counts.

I think I may have bought mine a shade too dark, but I still love this product anyway. One of the three sections it comes with is a clear wax that you apply before the powder to get all the hairs to lay down properly and go the right way. A spoolie is included as one of the two brushes it comes with to apply the product, the other being a mini eyebrow brush. I use the spoolie but I use my own, full size eyebrow brush to apply a mixture of the two colored powders in the eyebrow cake powder. I use the lighter color toward the inside of the eyebrow and then move in with the darker one as I go toward the outside. I find that the product stays all day on my face,

My thin brows needed a boost and this is the stuff! The combination of wax plus color powder really does the trick for me. I like how precisely I can apply this product, achieving anything from a vaguely better, more defined look to a super-pow, really heavy look when I want it. The brown powder stays on all day, even in heat and humidity, as long as I remember not to physically wipe it off with my handkerchief, anyway! But seriously, I enjoy being able to vary the style of brow by experimenting with this little compact. The only thing I added to it was a label that says EYES. This way when I don't have my glasses on I can pick up the right compact from my stash of makeup goodies and get right to work on the eyebrows,

I'm a hairstylist who also focuses on make up. Anyone who's been paying attention knows that full, defined eyebrows are the big thing. I have a good arch but needed some filling out and a more groomed finish, so I purchased this product. I think it's simple to use, the colors are great and I have no issue with smearing, fading or anything else over a work shift. It's easy to remove with my face wash and water.I color my hair an auburn shade, so I picked up the auburn color of this product to do my eyebrows and the it's perfect for me. I use a stiff bristle brush, swipe it twice in the auburn, once in the light brown and swirl b little of the wax in and fill in my brows. It allows believable extending of the brow,

This was my first experience using a brow powder instead of a pencil, and I was very pleased. I bought the dark brown set. It was a lot easier to apply than I had thought it would be. (Be sure to tap the excess off the brush to avoid any messy fallout.) I will probably buy a different brush for application, however. The brush that comes in the set works well, but I have found that it is a little bit too thick for the thinner part of my brows. Otherwise, it is fine. I appreciate that the set also comes with a spooly brush and setting wax. It certainly makes for a convenient, all-in-one-kit! Overall, I am very pleased with the softer, more natural look that the powder lends.

I have what I call like to call "Blammo" red hair - like Girliegunshow, this is courtesy of a very awesome and daring colorist. I have been going crazy trying to find a compliment for my brows (They are sadly not "blammo" red - but uhhh brown. I went to my favorite "hang" - Ulta Cosmetics and said help! The assistant steered me right to the NYX display. I got the Auburn/Red - Its perfect. As a performer-singer-songwriter - musician (no, my music is definitely NOT "Smelly Cat" - paly electric and I cut loose. I need to be able to let "me" show, regardless of the stage lights. As a fitness instructor - I do much more than glisten - I sweat! lots. NYX has not let me down - Its exactly what I was looking for.

I just bought this brow powder yesterday, and was very happy to find it, because where I live, there is almost nothing called brow powder in any make up aisle, not even Cover girl brow powder I used to buy. I tried this NYX powder today, using an eyeshadow foam tipped applicator and one of my brow stencils....GREAT! It goes on very smoothly, and packs a punch, because the color is very concentrated, so you barely need to skim the surface. I'm a blonde, and find the duo color set in blonde is a good match, without looking too severe. I did put on a bit of the wax using the brush provided, and it seemed to help keep the color in place, unlike the cover girl powder which tends to fade.

I have red hair. NOT natural red hair (ginger) but the type of red hair that you cannot find eyebrow kits for. Ive never had any luck, even with brow bar brands until Nyx. It has literally changed my brow game. I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on my eyebrows and how many questions on instagram from my fellow red haired followers on how I achieve such a perfect match. The wax keeps them tidy and the kit is handy. I even keep one in my purse for on-the-go touch ups. If I could make one change, the brush is a little thick so I don't use it. I like to get good definition and the brush just doesn't cut it. Its very cheap quality and no bueno.

Australia doesn't get the full range of NYX, and I would normally take a Black/Grey, but I got Dark Brown, because nothing else was available. For the sake of efficacy of this product, it's great. I really would love to use this one in Black/Grey. The angled brush helps to precisely apply the powder, with sharp lines.The Dark Brown powder is too, brown, my eyebrows are a cool black, but the darker of the two powders goes very well over black eyebrow pencil. It adds warmth and depth to what would have been plain black brows. I still like to set my brows with translucent powder so they don't look over the top. Here's to having eyebrows! Glad to be over my goth phase of thin liner,

I love this product so much iv bought more to stock up on. Iv got naturally blonde hair but have been dying my hair black for many years, so iv allways had the problem of having very fair eye brows. When i come across this i was really excited as most eyebrow products dont come in black. I loved this item straight away! Its so easy to use and my eye brows looked amazing and defined! It comes with a black and grey, the grey is great if you dont want such a dark brow, doesnt look grey on as it blends in with your natural brows. The powders easy to apply and blend and great for filling in Gaps or creating definition and the wax holds them in place and smudge free all day
