Nyx usually has a lot of good products. Not to say that more expensive means better, but this primer is too average to be so expensive, even if it were a luxury product of the same price.It goes on feeling really silky smooth. It sets to a matte finish and foundation blends better over this. Dry skin: stay away. It feels like nothing is on your skin. For color correcting your whole face, make sure you know what you're doing color-theory wise, even though Nyx has simplified it a bit. I also like mixing Nyx Jar concealers for better color correcting, and it works just as well with the clear one. The lavender runs much too sheer and needs a bit more lavender to work. It's not a Pore Filler nor does it claim to be,

I bought this in the green shade for reducing redness. I already assumed that the "photo-loving" name would really make no difference, which it doesn't really. I tend to be generally unphotogenic and this really did nothing to improve upon that. I bought it, though, to see if it would actually reduce the redness on my face. When I applied it, it was nice and soft, covered well, didn't smell horrible. But it was too thin to reduce any sort of redness that existed on my face prior to application. That's not to say that this product is really thin, but once I spread it out on my face, all trace of the color it was on my fingers disappeared before it even hit my face, it seemed.

I never used a primer before but was suckered in by the good reviews, and I am very happy with my purchase. The tube was smaller than what I expected (I judged by picture, not by fl oz), but I figured out with the first use that a little goes a long way. My skin felt really smooth, and once I applied foundation, concealer, THE WORKS...it made the make up look like it was just my skin with a healthy, clear complexion which I loved! Normally without primer my skin will just look like it has makeup on it, and as the day goes on it just starts to feel yucky, but this fixed that. The best way I can describe it is that it helped the foundation etc.

I bought the clear one, and I think this works good for everyday use. However, it is not one I'd use when I really need my makeup to be flawless and not budge for a night out, I need something a little thicker for that. The consistency wasn't runny or too thick, but you do need to shake it before it each use or it will separate. It works really well under the pressed matte but not flat foundation powder. It does keep me oil free throughout the day and it does help to minimize my pores, and keep the powder from falling into my lines and pores. All around for the price its a good primer, comparable to Smashbox Photo Primer for sure.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks (the green one) and I have noticed that my makeup lasts so much longer with this underneath! My skin gets really red after I wash my face so before putting on my foundation I like to use this to cancel it all out! However, I do have some acne that tends to get red as well and this doesn't completely cancel that out but it does tame the crazy redness! I put my foundation on at around 8 a.m. and work in a hot, sweaty indoor pool and my foundation still lasts all through out my shift! I will be repurchasing this, it works just as good as any high-end primer!

You will absolutely love this product it's extremely smooth and light as if your rubbing air between your index and thumb fingers one bottle will last you months!!Perfect primer !!!! Not Creamy not Caked upSpreads easy. Not messy, nor greasy leaves a smooth natural glow after applied even without makeup and once makeup is applied keeps it on for hours I generally apply make up once a day at 8-9 am but I don't get in to clean my face until around 10-11 and my face is still looking so pretty I consider if I should clean it off lol I love this product great buy it's my second bottle

Finding a good green primer is hard but this one is my go-to and I use it everyday. I mix it with a bb cream but it does help cut down redness and make foundation stay longer. I LOVE the consistency of it. Really easy to put on and it feels great. Not too greasy but honestly primers usually have a weird feeling too them especially a silicone base. I don't wear it alone, keep that in mind. I've used other green primers and they are just not the same. Some are just way too green and I like that this one is more disguised. I will say I think it is a tad pricey. Overall happy.

I bought the clear photo-loving primer around Christmas time and have been obsessed with it since. It is a dupe for the Smash box Primer that costs double the price. I use this almost everyday and it keeps my makeup on all day with minimum touch ups. I started using many different NYX products and I love them all! NYX is a drug store product but can almost past for high end cosmetics. I'm new into makeup but get compliments daily because this product keeps my makeup looking fresh. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great primer.

I bought this a week ago and I prefer it over my smashbox photofinish color correcting one. I am not sure yet if it is related to the primer but I find my bare skin even better and a lot less red than it used to be a few days ago. It leaves my skin smooth and poreless even on my nose. I always had a lot of problem with putting product on my nose because that thing hates me. But now I actually am able to put conceler and contour it a little bit after using NYX primer. BTW. i'm using the anti-redness one.

I have only tried this in the color Green, and I am pretty impressed by it considering the price. When you put it on, it does make any minimal to moderate redness into a more pale, slightly ashy toned skin color. By itself, it dries matte and makes the skin look a little sickly (like you just got over the flu), but it is great under foundation because it gives a nice, pretty blank canvas (I have eczema so the redness will not be fully covered). Overall, great product, but don't expect any miracles.

I purchased the clear Studio Perfect Primer and it is definitely a silicone primer. Usually silicone primers with the consistency similar to this one somewhat blur lines and pores. I did not notice that this product blurred my pores, but it did create a nice canvas to apply my make up on to. This product would be good for all skin types in moderation. Over all, this product did what a primer is supposed to do, and it did it just as well as the high end silicone primers that I have owned.

It's a lightweight gel, and you only need a little bit and it will cover your entire face--this tube will last me a long time. It doesn't dry out my skin, but it makes my foundation stick all day! I purchased the lavender primer to aide in balancing out the color of my face since I have freckles, hyperpigmentation from years of sun exposure and occasional dark spots and or blemishes. This primer leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and prepared for the application of foundation, bb cream, etc. It doesn't directly conceal darker pigmentation but it preps your skin for a flawless application of your makeup. I love it! and highly recommend it.

I just got the green studio perfect primer yesterday and i have to say.. I'M OBSESSED, LOVE IT! I only have good things to say, my skin looks and feels incredible smooth! its extremly light... if you wanna look super natural you can just use this primer and that's it covers all the redness and imperfections...and if you put on make up on it blends so beautiful and still looks extremly natural. Im gonna order this product for the rest of my life!
