Generally a very robust accessory, it feels indestructible. The X-mount side fits perfectly, no movement at all, however, the screw mount might be a little too tight for some lenses. Although my Super-Takumar is in perfect conditions, mounting the adaptor required some force (unlike the Helios 44m-4 which mounts easily), which I am not sure I would appreciate with a more valuable lens. This can be overcome by mounting the adaptor to the lens first, then to the camera. I don't need to change lenses regularly on the adaptor, but I can see that it could be an issue for some. It's not a complicated tool, focus works well at all scales, does its job perfectly.In overall a very good product,although a little overpriced. Chosen over the cheaper adaptors as Novoflex has reduced the design to the minimum, clearly a functional tool. Do note that the colour differs slightly from the photos, its blue-ish grey tone is visibly in contrast with a the black camera. To sum up, a handsome and functional kit, feels a little overpriced, screw mount can be a little tight (never loose), still a good investment if you have a set of M42 lenses and intend to use them on your Fuji X for long.
