The gameplay is excellent, there are plenty of options to tweak the settings so you get the challenge you need, depending on how good you are. The addition of playing with minor league teams in the AHL is a good move by EA, it adds another dimension to the game and improves the dynasty as there are more options with dealing with the minor league side of the game.The actual gameplay is as good as ever, although my first game on medium I was battered by the AI that definately plays better tactics. The tactical settings with your team need to be adjusted to how you like to play or the comp will over-run you.It is tricky to score but if you get a player with good accuracy then you should be able to five hole the goalies after a bit of practise.

Can u turn trade centre off...I hate that...cause I set for a season...and I update roster as in rel nhl...I am the Leafs...and 1 game was playing ottawa...and Jagr was on ottawa

This has nothing on the PS3/Xbox NHL games, but for its time this was a great game and really got me into the game of hockey more than before!
