This is a strong black coffee. In fact it is currently one of the strongest coffees which Dolce Gusto produces - the other is Caffè Grande Intenso.I will admit that this is far too strong for my personal tastes, but there are members of my family that have their coffee that strong the teaspoon will stand upright in the cup without any other support.It is a one pod drink which makes approximately 40mls of (what I am told) is a smooth and, as the name implies, intense flavoured black coffee.My family members who like this drink have told me that this is not something which you would drink every time you reach for a coffee, but it is one of those that you would have as a special occasion drink,

Already liking this particular pod, and seeming to use them up before our other choices, we ordered them and they arrived next day, neatly packed and with the date of expiry clearly labelled on the bag. Very pleased and slightly cheaper ordered in the larger amount.

Good Coffee however, not particularly good value, over priced for the way it is packed. You can buy it cheaper via Ocado or Waitrose with some discount vouchers.
