This decaf option has been the best part of recently investing in a Dolce Gusto machine. I bought the machine initially for making cappuccinos at home, but finding after that there was a mighty tasty decaf option available in the Dolce Gusto range has made alone made the price of the machine worthwhile.This decaf is equally as good as the other regular coffee versions in the Dolce Gusto line. Ive only had instant coffee at home before, and whilst i could happily enough drink some instant coffees, I've always found the decaf variants to be horrible. As a result I stopped drinking decaf altogether before I bought the Nescafe machine. To me this decaf is almost as good as coffee house options.You could quite happily dink this and not feel that you are missing out on taste by even one iota.Ive noticed that this option is designed for a smaller serving that the other coffee options. Personally though, and as I have the manual machine, I fill the cup up a fair bit, and I find it still tastes great (i'm someone who looks a stronger coffee too and i drink the Grande Intenso during the day). Your own milage may vary, but it's worth experimenting if you have a manual machine.All in all- a bloody marvellous coffee. Highly recommended!

I really do like Nescafe Dolce Gusto products which are quick and easy to use in their dedicated coffee maker.Purchased via the Amazon subscribe and save scheme I pay around 22p a cup for freshly brewed de-caffeinated copy (I get the maximum 15% discount through purchasing 5 items at a time).So enough of the cost bit, what about the coffee. Well firstly it is decaffeinated and I originally purchased it for those occasions when guests after supper respond to "anyone for coffee" with "got any decaf". Well we do now and I must say I enjoy it too. Personally I dont like decaf too much, even when taken in my favourite coffee shop (Costa) as it is a little thin and I feel lacking flavour.This item is the exception; I find it a pleasant drink and if you were unaware that you were drinking decaffeinated coffee in the first place you probably would not notice and just assume that your host could serve better!!!!!I drink a cup most evenings around 9:00 and have had no problems sleeping afterwards, particularly if I have read one of my rambling Amazon reviews first :-).Basically its pretty good and serves for those who want a restful night or can't tolerate caffeine.

They are really popular with the staff who prefer decaff to the full caffeinated coffee pods, we have tried Consuelo pods too, which are great too but these can not be beat for the plume of coffee aroma they create in the preparation process and then the taste of the coffee when completely poured.I like stronger, dark roast, latin american and arabica coffees myself but I do think the taste of these are great, if I were to decide in favour of decaff for any reason it would be these I would choose/prefer. There's none of the problems which can occur with some sorts of pods or brands, ie plastic making its way into the cup/glass,the plastic seal being drawn too tightly across the pod etc.It is Lungo so ideally you would be pouring these into the smaller glasses which are just a little larger than the espresso measure glasses but in the busy office I work in people pour mug sized measures with these and they are fine with that. Some people even add milk. Not me. Never me. I look on in horror as these taste great without milk, or syrup shot, or any other sort of additive (other than a little cold water to allow for a beverage that can be drank quickly).

I've used Dolce Gusto Lungo for years, but recently been told to drink decaf only (coffee and coke were my staples). Cannot find decaf in the shop but finally found it here on amazon. In the main retail stores the non-decaf version retailed at £3.99 a box, and has just recently gone up to £4.00 a box most retail stores (weird price increase), so getting three boxes for LESS than the regular high street price is very good value, and I got 2 lots of 3 boxes 6x16 capsules POST FREE and it only took a couple of days to arrive. At 25p for a REAL COFFEE (well, decaf) is brilliant value. I use a lingo style glass (ca 120 to 150 mls) with 30 mls of milk and love it.I cannot really tell the difference between the decaf and the regular, so if you have any caffeine issues then I really recommend this. EXCELLENT VALUE. As an aside I also now drink the caffeine free diet coke with a slice (or two) of lime with ice. The combination of both has significantly reduced the diuretic effects of caffeine and the irritation it caused.

Had been on the lookout for a decaff Dolce Gusto pod as hadn't seen any in the shops at all.For me the flavour of these is perfect, in fact I actually prefer it to some of the usual caffienated pods we use.Coffee is such an individual thing so I can't tell you whether you will like these or not but for me they are excellent and mean I can enjoy the flavour of a good cup of coffee in the afternoon without having to worry about caffeine affecting my sleep.

it is what it is. decaf coffee pods. There's not a lot of choice and to be honest the taste isn't wonderful but since there are no alternatives you have to take what you can get. If there are caffeine drinkers in your house who use a Dolce Gusto then you'll understand what I mean. You have to take what you can get. If you're shopping exclusively for yourself that get a "normal" filter coffee machine and buy a decent decaf coffee that you enjoy.

Tastes just as good as caffeinated version, which is unusual. I wish milk pods came with it, to make lattes. When I researched buying milk pods alone , they were available, but for double the price...ie, you could buy chocochino boxes, which come with the same number of chocolate and milk pods,throw all the chocolate pods away, and the milks would cost half the price than buying a box just of milks. Nuts.

Wonderful to be able to buy these capsules in bulk and also there is a wonderful variety on offer on amazon subscribe and save.I must say compared to local supermarkets i am able to buy decaf and a number of other types and strengths of coffee and all in bulk delivered to my door.The sleeves of 3 boxes last me about half a year which is wonderful and loved by all visitors and family members

Bought a Dolce Gusto coffee machine for my partner for Christmas before he started having a sensitivity to caffeine. Looked at every shop in town which didn't stock these pods but their websites said they did! Found these online for a great price which said they'd be delivered in 5 day which was fine but were here within 2 - even better! Flavour is great, price excellent, value fab!

Yummy decaf coffee. I'm used to fresh coffee now, it hasn't taken long! Totally obsessed with it, ha! I will NEVER drink instant again, BIG GRIM difference. I gave up coffee in Nov '19 and it was one of the best things I've ever done (I was drinking a LOT though), and I started on the decaf. Big difference. Now, I don't drink as much. This stuff is really yummy. Highly recommended.

I always buy the decaf for me and the Americano intenso for my husband it's the only pods that we like. We have tried other machine pods in different places but there no where as good as these. We recently had a problem with a few of the pods where they didn't puncture, but Amazon replied straight away and replaced with no quibble.

Lovely taste of filtered coffee without the caffeine! Not being able to partake of caffeine but being an avid coffee fan has it's challenges. However, with this little gem I have found the holy grail :) Lovely tasting black coffee which I add whitener to as well which makes the perfect cup of coffee anytime of the day or night.

I am literally intolerant to caffeine insofar as a glass of Coke or a strong green tea will leave me with cramps and busting for the loo within half an hour. The problem is, I love coffee! This is a wonderful solution, the coffee is rich and delicious. It tastes and smells just like regular coffee! So happy with the purchase!!

I bought these pods to offer a decaf option in the range of pods we have, I'm no coffee expert but the coffees made from these pods have all been very nice and I would recommend them to anyone looking for decaf Dolce Gusto coffees. Could do with a few more decaf pods though! this seems to be the only one ?

You can't get these decaffeinated capsules in the shops for some reason so it's great to get them online.It's good to avoid caffeine after 6pm so that it doesn't keep me awake and it's a nice size for after dinner. However, I would like a longer decaffeinated drink too that's why I knocked a star off
