Another Nerf gun added to our arsenal. This is a good one. Our daughter thinks it is incredible. Loves how the gun looks and feels. I'm impressed with it - with the usual reservations! It is expensive in battery use - 4 C batteries (not supplied) and they don't last long. Maybe 2 days worth of battling... this is true of our other battery operated Nerfs too so not really a specific negative for this gun.It's a bit heavy, but she doesn't seem to mind. The clearing up afterwards is never really complete...I'm always finding bullets under beds and behind shelves etc but the amount of fun created makes it worth it.

Great fun so far - not had any jamming issues but I found (via my son and the amount of jams in his other Nerf guns I used to have to clear) that all Nerfs eventually start jamming as the projectiles get worn or damaged. Fires superfast - and quite a distance but you're going to get battered in a "Nerf War" unless you have a few fully loaded clips ready to swap out.With regards to the durability of the gun - time will tell, it's been used most days for a week now with no issues, if there are any I'll add a footnote to the review at a later date.You might want to get some rechargeable batteries - they'll have paid for themselves by the 4 - 6th charge depending how much you pay for them.

Fab Nerf gun! The rapid fire is rapid, easily get through the 18 darts if keep your finger on the trigger or if you press the trigger as and when then you release a dart at a time. The darts go a reasonable distance too. The scope is slightly out though so if using that, you need to 'master' the difference otherwise it's more of a point, shoot, adjust and shoot etc. Easy to reload the darts into the magazine and assemble. It requires a large battery in order to work (doesn't come with one), the motor is a little noisy but if playing with others/outside their sounds will drown the motor and it's only brief too while there are darts.Delivery was quick although the box it came in was a little on

Rapidstrike is not a sarcasm, but the truth. The Rapidstrike CS-18 is an automatic firing gun, with a extendable stock. Accrate, but not in full auto. So be wise when shooting.When it came, the package is in perfect condition. Delivery time is fast. The gun is well protected so no damage was on there. Just feed some batteries, oh sorry, C BATTERIES. to it and it'll be nice and smooth. Be prepare for a trip to your local store (or Amazon) for some C BATTERIES, cuz they are rare household batteries.Still it's a great weapon to have. Recommended.*Note, C BATTERIES and screw drivers are not included.Seriously, C BATTERIES?! WHO THA HECK HAS C ****ing BATTERIES???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you order this, get the batteries before it arrives otherwise you will be sitting looking at a great boy's toy that you can't play with! Once loaded it takes only moments to empty the magazine - GREAT FUN! Then comes the chore of picking up the darts and reloading. (That's when you go back online and order a spare mamagzine and a box of darts.) As with all these guns, it is great fun. Accuracy and distance travelled vary as the darts distort over time. The sighting system is not accurate, nor does the rifling in the barrel give any noticeable stability. Just enjoy pulling the trigger and 'squirting' darts at your target - some will hit. It's just like the real thing!

Watch Out there is a child about and he is loaded with a rapid fire sponge bullet Gun. Load up the cassette quite easy and fire all over in less than 30 seconds. The ammunition such as it is is quite soft with dad taking a few hits (not recommended) on the legs with no lasting damage, they do bounce off walls well (recommended). The range is pretty much as described. Is a present that will last only time will tell but fun in the garden thats for sureThe only problem this needs 4 C type batteries which were not included so disappointed child waiting for daddy to get batteries. I do wish companies would supply batteries with products.

The Elite Rapidstrike is quite simply a slimmed down and re-shelled version of the Stampede with an upgraded set of internals.And while both it and the rampage up until recently were at the top of the battery operated blaster foodchain, in personal opinion there is now a better blaster available - namely the Rayven Elite.While the blaster hasn't seen as wide a release (from what I can tell it's only available at TRU), it runs on AA's (which are much more widely available and cheaper), has a very similar range, and although it has a slightly slower rate of fire it more than makes up for it with being a lighter and more portable gun.

Where were Nerf guns when I was small, all I had was a stick or if I was lucky a bit of plastic that sometime resembled a cow boys gun, I would of loved one of these, me and my brother would of had hours of fun, I can just see him hiding in a corner while i've got him pinned down with my Nerf Elite rapid strike. A great product for target shooting or Nerf battles and safe to use indoors. I would definitely advise eye protection though, as a pellet in the eye from an excitable Nerfster comes quite sharp! Great interactive fun for children and adults, would recommend. The only negative is the blaster often jams and this is why I have given the product a 4 and not a 5 star rating.

Love everything about this, the Nerf gun is very well made and easy to load reload, thenonly point i would make is that the clip/magazine spring seems to get stuck whick means the darts are not coming up properly, i think this can be easily fixed buying a seperate clip. I can't complain as the price through Amazon was very good!

Great toy with hours of fun fully automatic nerf gun fires all the billets in a couple of seconds only problem I find it's not as powerful as the pump action on the bullets go further then this one and you have to point it up to go the far distance that's why I gave a 4 star instead of 5 star but other wise it's a great nerf gun

What is there to say, it's a nerf gun. It's fun. It's quite big to hold so not ideal for smaller kids. The cartridge is easy to load, and love that this is automatic - none of our other nerf guns are, it's much more fun!! As the name suggests, fires bullets in rapid succession. Fab.

No need to re-cock the gun. Fires amazingly rapidly and quite a distance too.My son and his cousin had a great time with these. Just be careful some of the old bullets - we got big box of them in a car boot sale - do not fit this gun.Overall a great toy - if you don't mind guns!

One very happy little boy with a nerf gun that is almost bigger than him! Have a feeling if he looks after it, this could be a favourite for a few years to come. ... possibly 70, the way his friends dads were itching to play with it too!!
