After just over a year of at least 3 days per week cleaning, Botvac had started giving me an error telling me to "open dirt bin and push switch down to on", even though the switch was already on. Neat online chat & subsequent email support was excellent, running through some possible cures which didn't end up solving the problem, so their final suggestion was that the battery needed replacing.Easy replacement job involving a couple of screws and disconnect of old battery, reverse procedure to install this new battery and all done with 5 minutes. Went through procedure stated by Neato for activating a new battery within the Botvac's menus and all has been good since. Error has stopped appearing,

Had the "Please open my dirt bin & push switch DOWN to ON." error message on my botvac. First bought an unbranded battery that didn't solve the issue, so sent it back. Then replaced the battery with this one and solved it. No problems, the robot does the cleaning like a new machine, no stops for further chargings.

Genuine Neato replacement, working fine,I previously tried another aftermarket one as couldnt find geniune and the robot just couldnt seem to charge it and the moment it came off the base it said "battery low, return to charging station", so Id recommend not wasting money on other non genuine types.

Fit perfectly into my Neato BotVac - its exactly the same kind of battery that came with it when I bought it.The power clip is extremely fiddly - I found it very tricky to get the old one out so I could put this new one in... I managed to do it in the end though.

Like most other reviewers, after two years of service my Neato started giving up mid-clean and giving the weird "dirt bin" error messages. Getting the old battery out was a bit fiddly but not impossible and it's now back to full operation.

Work as described, and sorted my Neato for sure, he now runs around the house cleaning, and often gets it finished in one visit, before changing battery he just gave up and cowered in a corner somewhere

Although recommend by neato support the battery connection was incompatible with my D7 model.Dont know whose error this was.prompt refund received. Thanks

Battery kept going flat on Neato cleaner. Every time we went to use it, it didn't last well. New battery was easy to fit and brought it back to life again.

It works perfectly, as expected. Sometimes my neato had some error messages asking to turn the switch to on, changing the battery solved the problem.

Easy to install and condition.The performance difference is very noticeable when the new battery is installed. The vacuum runs forever now.

Bought this as a replacement. Was worried it may be difficult to fit but found a U-tube video and it is extremely easy to fit.

Very quick delivery. Easy enough to install though a little bit fiddly. \Pleased with this product and would recommend.

What can I say? It's a battery. It fits and restores the Neato back to its new battery condition.

Fiddly pain in the bum to extract the old one but this gave our robot a new lease of life.
