Don't normally write reviews, but I was pretty impressed with the feel and quality of this controller. It is similar in size as the PS4 dualshock. It has an indentation on the back where your 2nd finger 'slots in', making it less likely to slip in use. I don't use the vibration function so have not tested that. Buttons feel good quality, and trigger buttons feel better to me for use than dualshock. Long wire means no more worries about charging the battery! Oh! and it has very pretty blue LED's (not sure if they can be turned off as some players may find it off-putting at least at first!?). The movement buttons are smaller and slightly taller than the dualshock,

So glad I got this just before the price went up, £25 was a steal for a controller that has all the functionality of the standard PS4 controller, touch pad and all. Analogues are better than the standard (what prompted me to buy a new control in the first place, both my standards are just so f'd, barely lasted a year) although will have to see how long they last, will update if needed. (Update, it has been over a year and the sticks still work fine, no sign of any issues, definitely better than a standard controller)I have few small complaints such as the material, it's a very smooth plastic with no grip to it but that's easily sorted with some grip tape. I needed a new controller to replace my current DS4 controller which is getting old and I didn't want to spend another £50+ on the official controllers, even if I really do like them.This controller feels a little bulkier, and the buttons click a little, but in the end, it's a great wired controller which thankfully means I need not worry about the battery running low.Touchpad is great. Headphone socket in the front, but no light-bar on the back, which matters not if you don't have or use the PlayStation camera (I do have one, just don't use it!)Overall it's a great controller, not wireless, but it works just fine, although you may want to extend the cable, I mean it's a good length but I needed it to be a little longer,

I bought this controller to replace my other one that was essentially falling apart. I was a bit skeptical on buying this despite it being officially licensed.However, it came and I was very much on how well it is made. I find it easier to use and even though it feels a bit heavier and it being wired I am finding myself feeling more confident with the games I play. As well as this, I was tired of spending more money buying a controller that I knew was going to be replaced quickly.Spending £30 on this was worth the money and I would definitely recommend it if people want a cheaper option.The only thing I will point out is that it doesn't turn on the PS4 which I personally don't mind switching it on from the console itself.

Honestly reading the reviews I was skeptical but I received mine today and I haven’t had any problems with it so far, I found the controller to be much more comfortable to hold & to me all of the buttons felt good & the joysticks are awesome,It also has a extra button on the back which I originally thought was some form of spare configuration button but once I plugged in the controller I realised it’s for controlling the lighting effects!Honestly it’s a very aesthetic controller & It took me back to my old transparent controllers & consoles, it’s very 90’s with a new modern take, the cable is nice and long perfect for my setup,Unless in the future keys start to break or the controller simply

It feels great, triggers are a bit different from the ps4 or the xbox one controllers, but once you get used to it feels great, the controller works great so far after testing it for a few hours, no input lag. the picture I uploaded is mine with analog grips already on, but the analogs it comes with are good enough. I like to note that the controller can feel small for some people, it is a little smaller than an Xbox one controller for example, I also recommend putting some grips on the handlers to get a better grip and avoid sweat (some xbox one sticker grip a bit modified will do). With all that said, its by far my favorite ps4 controller so far, only downside is not being wireless,

Very happy with the controller as my kill ratio on COD went straight up. Not only does it work great but it's helped confirm the Bluetooth antenna in my ps4 was damaged when it went for a new blueray drive to be fitted. I can now play games without random signal loss and disconnections.As for the wired controller all buttons feel fine and the only issue I've noticed is that pressing the ps button doesn't turn on the ps4 (still need to use original controller or press power button) but it's a small 1st world issue. But if you need controller this is a great choice.

Feels very different to a regular ps4 controller but after a while you get used to it. I really like the lights feature and how it has different modes. Seems to control pretty good although R1 AND L1 don't always register but I only experienced that on Dead by Daylight so I won't be using this controller for all of my games.Overall was pretty impressed it feels like the best affordable brand controller you can get but if you can afford it I would recommend sticking with the regular controller if you can help it and purchase this as a fall back.

Fine for a second controller for my 6yr old for Co-Op games. We use it on the PC alongside my official PS4 controller, The PC sees it as a PS3 controller and things do get a bit hard to set up but we have eventually manage to get them both to work on most games.With this in mind, if you're looking for this as your main controller, don't. Get an official one, I mean it. And if I could start from scratch for PC gaming I shoulda just got 1 or 2 Xbox Controllers. Such a pain setting up PS4 controllers on PC.

Better then original that comes with the console. Better grip, better design. Doesn’t slide out of hands either It might be with a cable, but having had wireless I still had my controller attached to console so it would charge while playing anyway, so there is no loss in that. Plus I grew up playing PlayStation from the first one with attached cable and never had an issue. Will definitely buy another one, as the design is good and different. Highly recommend for a price it is

I had to replace the first controller with 2 weeks of purchase as L1 shoulder button broke. Argos replaced and no issues so far but only been a week since we got the replacement. This controller feels solid enough and, like the name suggests, it feels more compact. This is great for small hands like mine but it did take a day or so to get used to it. I hope the build quality lasts on this one. Be prepared for bright lights, on the plus side I can always find where I left it last!

If you're buying this as a replacement for a Dualshock you can definitely do worse and for the price it's absolutely brilliant value for money. It also feels great in the hand, even if you have giant hands like myself. The buttons are responsive, clicky and punchy which most controllers lack nowadays. The clear variants of these controllers offer little in the way of actual "grip" but it still does the job and even after several hours of gaming it's never felt uncomfortable.

It’s a great controller for the money if you can’t afford a genuine PS4 wireless.It takes a bit of getting used to for feel as the analogue sticks are smaller and the back L1 R1 buttons are a slightly different feel.A very long cable is a good plus, the ps button on the controller won’t turn on your console but that’s not a big problem.The vibration is a little stronger than a genuine but not noticeable once you’re used to it

Controller arrived and very well packagedworked a treat and my daughter preferred the feel to it over the original controller and loved that i could now play duos on Fortnite with herHowever 7 days in and she was using it and decided to let my Chihuahua chew half way through the wire AARRGGHHHHH who should i be angry with ??? child or dog ???????i have pieced it together and just about still works

I needed a second controller for my little boys ps4 for christmas. The Nacon Ps4 Compact controller caught my eye immediately. A very tidy slick design and see through controller which makes this ideal. It also lights up in the dark which looks brilliant, and has a 3m length wire. All in all a great product and great value for money. I even bought another one!
