I lost all my tools in a fire and have been rebuilding my collection. I have decided to go with the Milwaukee platform. You pay a premium but I think they deliver. This is a powerful tool with enough grunt for my jobs. I am using 5Ah batteries and they happily grind away. I don’t grind away for hours so I did not need corded and wanted the flexibility.So far , so good.My only criticism is of the Fixtec nut: it is a device that is meant to make changing discs tool-less. Having run a cutting blade for half an hour I could not undo the nut by hand. Maybe if I was stronger I could get more purchase and open the nut. Instead I ordered an angle grinder spanner and used that. The grinder does not come with a spanner.

Todays, Sunday ordered Milwaukee bare grinder, had the broad flanged fixing nut and the tightening spanner missing, this is extremely inconvenient as it was intended for tomorrow, Monday, for using with the ordered backing pad and sanding disks.As my recent Milwaukee purchases are centred on Monday 19th usage, it will be gratefully appreciated if the said, missing flanged holed nut and spanner can be delivered by return.Yours in anticipation, G Fox.

just deosnt feel/sound very sturdy... hasnt let me down at all, but the motor doesnt sound as i would have expected.... its much quieter than my old grinder... which is an absolute bonus with the neighbours.Time will tell how long it lasts - but for now - yes i reckon if youve already invested in milwakee then this a great addition to your set

A great item. I love having this as a valued tool in my collection. It is very smooth to operate and feels very comfortable. For me the battery life is just how I expected about 20 minutes of constant grinding. I like how comfortable it is to use, I will buy a 240v version for heavy long duration use

all you people whining about it going threw batteries, its a high demand machine just like the mains voltage ones,all grinders are ! this one is one of the best battery grinders on the market today, invest on a 9 amp high demand battery, and its as strong as electric one, and will last you a while,

Bought due to already being on the Milwaukee battery platform. As usual really impressed with Milwaukee nice balanced tool easy to used. Quick adjustment tool free on the guard. The only criticism with it is the tool to change the blade is a bit cheap feeling. But does the job.

Just finished using this to clean up 100m+ of tube steel fencing ready for painting, worked well. only challenge is it flys through the batteries quickly with continuous use. Had 2*4ah and 1*5ah batteries in use and got around 45-50 mins of fairly continuous grinding from these

Comes as a naked unit. Maintains the power through all materials that I have used it to cut through. Very quiet compared to other makes, with no requirement for a wrench to tighten the central wheel nut. Very impressed and worth the money.

This grinder is really efficient and works really well. One of the main benefits is having the freedom of no cables and can work anywhere. Only down side is there is no hook to hang it off your belt when working at any heights.

Used a few times cutting and grinding done all that i ask it to do not as good as corded grinder but can use where there is no power i would but another. I cut metal plastic and ground down welds very happy wit it.

Discs are not avalible for Milwaukee grinders, The hole size on discs is not compatible with grinder I have since found out that the Inner clamp was missing from my grinder, That's why discs would not fit on it.

A great tool. The Milwaukee brand out performs nearly every other brand including Snap On and very reasonably priced. Also with batteries up to 12Ah available now it really is a tool for professionals

This milwaukee 18v angle grinder is a little gem it's got a fail safe start trigger ergonomically set into the hand grip. The splash cover which protects you rotates allowing left & right use.

My son loved this witch I bought him for his birthday . He’s said it’s an excellent tool and well worth the money .He uses it most days at work and it works really well . Very quick delivery .

A great grinder, a lot quieter than a mains one so people seem to like using it instead. If you need massive power then can't beat a plug in one but this is the best battery one I've used.
