I know this is going to be a huge call and going against the grain compared to other review on amazon, but having 3 of us spend the night with the game (03/072017) I really think it is absolutely superb and worth the meager £20 being asked for it.But to save you all the time, if you think there is much single player content you will be disappointed, If you want great online matches with great handling, then micro machines is a blast. Me and my friend all took it in turns to race online. Yes, its shame you cant do multiplayer online. But considering the tiny price. Maybe that will come in DLC which having plaid the game, I would happily pay for.So a couple of plus points.The graphics - stunning,

£20 is quite steep for this, considering the lack of game modes available. £10 to £15 maximum would be more appropriate.There are 3 game modes available; Race, Battle and Elimination (by far the best). All of these are unbelievably funny when you get a group of your mates together (locally or over Xbox Live) and have some multiplayer carnage fun.Playing on your own isn't as fun with a distinct lack of any solo campaign or offline racing available. I'm hoping Codemasters will add this at later date.Overall, not quite as good as the old Micro Machines on the snes but the multiplayer is a laugh. I don't think there's much longevity available due to the lack of options, game modes and cars available.

Got this as a birthday present for my best mate. Absolutely love it - played it all weekend, great party game. Have never heard such expletives coming from her mouth! Only downside is you need a PS4 online account to play online and some of my friends don't have a PS4. Multiplayer offline was good but not enough variety. Would be good if there were more races offline or even a single player mode. All in all a great game - would be good if there were some updates soon.

This brings back so much nostalgia for me from my childhood of playing MicroMachines on the N64. It has the same feel to it, the levels are similar, and it is just good fun.Probably not something that could keep you occupied for hours on end, but being able to play it online against others gives it a bit more longetivity. If you played MM64 as a child then this may give you a smile or two

Yes its mainly online - they really should patch in local multiplayer racing for 4 people. Good graphics and 12 cars is enough choice to be honest.Tracks are good and well designed.However - for £20 the game is really good fun. Online works well and you can play elimination via local multiplayer.No where near as poor as people are making out,

Great nostalgia trip for those who played the original games. Weapons add a mariokart like edge to the franchise. Good game to pick up if you feel like killing half an hour on a few races. Overall just good fun, which is what you want from a game based on Micromachines!

I can’t see why people have rated this a 1 star, it’s far more better than that. Sure, it’s tricky and sometimes frustrating, but it was designed for that fun side of racing games. If you want a more complex serious type of racing game, this is definitely not for you.

At first I was slightly disappointed with this game, seemed more like a beta than the finished article. But the nostalgia is there and I am beginning to really enjoy it. Most modes, more cars, more tracks and this will be amazing.

This is a game you grow into. At first it is very challenging and frustrating, as the cars slip and slide a quite a bit. After some practice time you get the hang of it. This game has become one of our favourite games.

Ignore some reviews. THERE IS SINGLE PLAYER AND MULTIPLAYER MODES ON THIS GAME. MY WIFE IS LITERALLY PLAYING IT NOW. Anyway great fun game at a very good price. Great for a casual gamer and family fun.

Brilliant revival of an old classic. Only frustration is that you have to have an online account to access a lot of the features. Seems a ploy by PlayStation to get more money.

Playability and fun just as I remember it from back in the day, graphics are amazing! Really happy, highly recommend!
