I bought this game as a newbie , eager to learn how to play poker and it did the job well . You can choose from different types of poker such as omaha and of course texas hold em' which means that if you get fed up with one or are on a losing streak you can simply play something different and i found that this made the game more enjoyable and added an "extra something" . You can play in free play (which i love because you can leave a game half way through and it will save it for next time) or you can play in season mode which i found quite frustrating because you must pay to enter tournaments and you can run out of money which results in having to start the game again ,

World Series of Poker is by far the best game of its type on any system. This game will suit those are new to poker and test those who consider themselves a pro.I have been playing poker online for many years now, and I consider this game to be an ideal (no risk) training tool to help me compete in the real world. The graphics are ok, but the computer AI is amazing and it feels like you are playing for real.If you are looking for the best poker game, you have found it here!
