Bought this to replace a Makita. You can fit the secondary handle onto either side of the head and so can comfortably be used left- or right-handed plus there's a very handy optional accessory that can place this handle anywhere along it's arc making for a very comfortable setup.Partnered with decent blades so far Metabo has worked well. Reduced multi multi layers industrial floor paint back to bare concrete quickly, well happy. Industrial/Commercial floor tiles (as in major supermarkets) needing cutting out to reveal services below with out any major difficulty with diamond blade. Uni-strut and threaded rods no problem using thin 1mm/1.2mm Stainless Steel blades.

There are angle grinders and there are Metabo angle grinders. This compliments the superb Metabo 18v 125mm I bought earlier this year and is an exceptionally well engineered and powerful little beast. The marathon motor is beautifully balanced, almost vibration free and stops within seconds. The rubberised grips are very well positioned to hold and control the grinder and the on/off switch is ideally placed. You can rotate the grinder head should you want the switch on the top of the body rather than on the side.Do away with the supplied fixing nut and spanner and get a Milwaukee fixtec nut off Amazon if like me you put the spanner down and then cannot find it.
