Last years version disapointed me, as it seemed to be little more than a roster update of 2005. This IS different. The lead blocker feature seems clumsy, but it really works, and is tremendous fun. They have completely re-vamped Superstar mode and it no longer feels like an afterthought (the agrevating 'voicemails' from Terrel Davies are also gone). The influence system is a wonderful representation of how one players performance can lift an entire team.The rookie scouting system in Franchise mode has also got some much needed additions (it's been the same since before 2003!).The graphics are fairly similar to previous versions- still exellent- and the tackles seem to get more realistic each year.The music is terrible (personal taste),

I loved madden 2006 i bought it the day it came out and i stopped playing it yesterday, I recieved madden 2007 i turned it on and the first thing i noticed after the intro it had a clip of a player/coach/cheerleader saying ea sports its in the game well they got rid of that :-(. Anyway on to the game i always play in franchise mode and there is nothing new about it, The training camp is the same old boring things as last year. When i started the game i was really excited but that soon changed, The graphics havent improved one bit since last year they are exactly the same, The only difference between this year and last is the lead blocking feature plus some new juke moves and a few more lines from madden and michaels.

I also thought Madden 2006 was a great game, but this one surpasses it in every way. The gameplay and depth has been improved in the main game, a new training function has been created with NFL legend Shannon Sharpe, and there is a complete second game with NFL Superstar, where you can live the life of an NFL star. Hours upon hours of gameplay.The only negatives I can muster up are that the graphics have not changed much in a couple of years, although they are still very good, and the level of game AI varies, with some games that are too easy or too difficult considering who you are playing.Small grumbles though, for a game that does justice to the sport. Highly recommended.

I agree with everything already posted - It is a great game which if you get into it will last as long as you keep using your PS2; however it does have a few bugs in the NFL Superstar mode which should have come out during testing particularly regarding the AI when you let the computer take control - basically the QB seems to have a passion for throwing back to his own endzone (Usually resulting in a safety);an inability to find a pass on 3rd down and a penchant for calling Passing plays with inches to go. Its a shame and can ruin the true "play your position" experience as you are then forced to take control. EA really should have fixed this before release.

Can create your own megastar which is fun as he gets better. Also takes longer than usual a game to complete meaning it is more enjoyable to play and it is worth the money, as you don't have to get a new game for a while! Fun for all ages as simple to play and easy to understand. few problems, as not much that goes wrong when playing. Supreb graphics as well!

All I can do is compliment EA Sports on this brilliant game.I had 06 and that was good but I really didnt think that 07 would improve that much. 10/10 wat a game.
