I always stick to a few champagnes that I know to be good, I have enjoyed champagne for years so I hardly ever stray from my favourite houses, Roederer is one of them, one of the last champagne houses in family ownership and the NV Premier Brut is a classic example of how good a sparkling wine can be made consistent year after year, but along with Bollinger, Pol Roger and Billicart Salmon these four should really be placed under your stairs or a cellar and forgotten about for a good three years and its then when they turn into beautiful sublime very moorish champagne of distinction, Lanson is another one, a little tip here though it does not apply to all champagne houses,

While there are many famed house of Champagne, the house Roedered has a special place in my heart. And the Brut Premier is my go-to bottle to celebrate birthdays and similar other events.It is worth mentioning that unlike more famous brands, the Roederer brand is still a family enterprise. And not administrated by a giant conglomerate.You can find many other reviews on the internet that can describe the taste and outlook of this Champagne a lot more eloquently that I can. I would encourage you to read some of those reviews but I would recommend to experience it first-hand.Compared to other bottles of Champagne,

We tried this on holiday and this was the first champagne that we both liked and enjoyed. Not too fizzy and not too sweet or too dry but with a good flavour. I recommend this for anyone new to champagne who does not want to start off with a one of the more expensive brands. It is not the cheapest out there but very good value.

Same producer as the famous Cristal champagne and what amazing value for money. Classy, utterly delicious and impressive label and packaging too. You can't go wrong with this champagne! Not as well known as some high street brands but on taste, wins every time!!

The one all the wine writers recommend as good value for a quality product. Why Prosecco is in the ascendancy I have no idea. You get what you pay for, and to my taste Prosseco is over sweet, and apparently damaging to teeth!

This product is for my brother in law's 70th Birthday at the end of May.Being well prepared.Why have one bottle when two will do...a Magnum..!!A fine present and an equally fine champagne.Happy Birthday.

Brilliant price, amazingly packaged so arrived safe and ready to pop into the fridge. This champagne is one of the nicest tasting I have ever had. Highly recommended, not harsh or too dry. Just perfect!

After trying a bottle of very expensive and disappointing champagne at Christmas, I have returned to the Louis Reoderer. Fantastic champagne, at a very reasonable price.

Would highly recommend. Very smooth and easy to drink, not overpowering with fizz and a great taste. New champagne of choice for special occasions or just a nice treat!

I ordered 2x bottles of this champagne because we love it but just got my delivery and only received 1 bottle of champagne and 1 bottle of non alcoholic Chardonnay.

A lovely champagne. My normal NV go to is Veuve Cliquot, but after trying this I’ve bought several. It’s a lovely flavour and finish, nicely polished.

My favourite champagne. Brilliant to not have to trapes to the shops to get it. Delivered quickly and lovely bottle.
