2012 was Obviously a Very Good Year by the Taste of it for the Veuve Clicquot Vineyards Judging by The Flavour.. I have been holding onto this & only cracked it open yesterday for a much belated celebration with my wife.. This Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 comes in a Beautifully Made & Presented Gift Box.. Push the Hole on the Side to Slide Out & Unveil the Bottle of Goodness.. So Perfect for a Gift to Special Friends or Loved Ones.After carefully popping the traditional wired & familiar cork & letting it rest for a few minutes.. i eagerly poured this into my glass & was treated to a golden yellow hue & a lively crescendo of bubbles rising to a frothy head..

This is a beuatifully presented and superbly packaged bottle of high quality champagne.The bottle came inside a sturdy presentation box which has a cutout in the lid at one end to hold the neck of the bottle, to prevent it rolling around. That presentation box makes for a fantastic gift.The box was then placed inside a double walled cardboard box for protection, and then that double walled box was placed inside an Amazon box for shipment. Not a lot of scope for inadvertent mishaps...The champagne inside the bottle is not something I can write about yet. On searching online, there are lots of references to 2012 being one of the best vintages of the past 30 years,

The bottle arrived safely and was well packaged. It comes in a very well presented and premium looking gift box that would make a lovely gift for someone.I actually had the chance to try the 2008 vintage and although I preferred the older variant this 2012 is still a very high-quality brut champagne with amazing taste that goes perfectly with a nice dinner or a cheese plate. Its very bubbly pouring into a glass and it gives off a very fresh and fruity aroma, its very complex in its flavour and the tiny bubbles gives it a nice soft texture in your mouth.This has all the characteristics of an amazing Champagne and Veuve Clicquot have been around for a very long time and are well experienced in making excellent gourmet wines.

This 75cl bottle of Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 comes presented in a very elegant black gift box so is perfect for gifting to celebrate a special occasion. I do not really drink a lot of alcohol but on receiving this bottle of Vintage champagne my Partner and I picked a nice Sunday evening to open this bottle and really treat ourselves. We do drink champagne on special occasions but we have never tried a vintage bottle before.We got out our best champagne flutes and poured ourselves a glass. In the glass the champagne has a lovely colour and looks very appealing. Firstly I have to say that this tasted nothing like the ordinary champagnes we usually buy and that is reflected in the price point - you can tell that this is something really special and different .

If you are looking for a champagne to drink and appreciate the different notes, I would highly recommend giving Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 a try. Upon receiving it, it is presented in a truly elegant gift box and the bottle is just as beautiful. The attention to detail is truly stunning and this would certainly make for a perfect gift for any champagne appreciator.As for the taste, I would recommend leaving in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes before opening to really allow the depth of flavour to really shine. A sweet fruity taste is the most prominent upon drinking but you quickly notice far more when paying close attention to the different layers of flavour this champagne has to offer.

This 2012 vintage Brut Champagne from Veuve Clicquot comes beautifully boxed, and very well protected by the shipper. The champagne is a dark yellow, almost gold colour, and has immediate citrus tones, as well as distinct apple, and peach overtones. Normally I wouldn't drink a 2012 vintage, and leave it to mature further, but as this was sent to me for review, we decided to open it to celebrate the New Year.It's certainly not a cheap Champagne, but you expect quality from Clicquot, and you are certainly not disappointed with this vintage. I served it after refrigerating for an hour, so that it was chilled, but not overly so. It was the perfect accompaniment to a grilled sea bass supper,

Let's just say that after cracking the bottle open we regretted having done that - it is a bottle to experience at a very special moment, not just because you want a glass of bubbly! Let's just say that I am not a fan of champagne...yeah....I love my drinks sweet and prosecco style bubbly is way too sour for my liking, so i expected this to be similar, albeit in a nicer bottle and with far more poncing around.....WELL I WAS WRONG! I can only compare it to the champagne my dad used to bring from France when I was a kid and we would save that bottle for the New Year celebration! That was some champagne that I was allowed a small glass of once a year and it was amazing! So fruity,

Delivered by AmazonThis Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 gift box arrived packed inside a cardboard box . Inside was this amazing presentation box . The box is thick and black with Gold lettering and the Yellow label . Opening it up nestled neatly inside is the bottle. The dark bottle looks luxurious against the Yellow labelling .This is sealed with black foil covering the cork which has been secured with a steel clip .After a satisfying pop turning the cork the fluid sparkles and fizzes as it s poured into the glass . The amber colour and fragrance are delightful , it tastes delicious with fruity undertones that make you eager for another sip.As I said I think this is an amazing and thoughtful gift ,

The first thing I will say, is that if you are not really into tasting champagne and picking out subtle differences and just want a drink I would actually not recommend this . The joy of vintage champagne is precisely to detect the small variations in the character of the champagne, and savor the limited nature of the vintage. For a great, dependable and consistent Veuve - yellow label will offer just that at a lower price.Veuve is Pinot Noir dominated, which gives it a lovely soft feel in the mouth. The 2012 is incredibly fruity on the mouth and it is so complex in its flavor I would not be surprised if everyone tasted something different. Honey and exotic fruits are certainly common among tasting cards.

Thanks to the generosity of multi-millionaire members of our family, we have had drunk champagnes which we - my wife and I - could not in our wildest nightmares have afforded. Doubtless - 'Darlings we couldn't possibly drink anything less!' - they were worth the cost to those who don't count the cost.However, for those of us who do have to count the cost. 'Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut 2004' has all the advantages of a great champagne - long effervescence which has no need to disguise the acidity of the 'dregs' that lie underneath. For those who need a 'hair of the dog' the morning after, an opened bottle will give a drink as smooth and palatable - minus the bubbles - as a good wine freshly uncorked.Is it worth the money?

It comes in a nice good quality box which makes it perfect for being given as a present to someone. As it looks and feels luxurious.We drank this champagne for my GF birthday , and all the people who tasted it thoroughly enjoyed it. After pouring to glass you can enjoy it a golden colour of this champagne. Which smells really nice and reminds me of various fruits and some citrus which I can't pinpoint. The taste is not for everyone. As it is towards the more acidic side which lets you feel a bit of citrus taste as well as some apple taste. For me, it was perfect tasting champagne.Overall, if you have some kind of birthday or another important date to celebrate this champagne will be perfect

I am very impressed with this fabulous 2012 Vintage champagne from Veuve Clicquot, it comes in a lovely presentation box, so perfect for gifting too. It’s an elegant complex champagne, predominantly a Pinot Noir champagne that’s golden in colour with lots of lovely constant beading in the glass, it tastes wonderfully fruity along with a typical toastiness you’d expect in a quality champagne from Veuve Clicquot, but this one has more depth of flavour from it being over 8 years old. My husband enjoyed this champagne on his recent birthday, although in lockdown, we could still celebrate with this superb champagne to which we thank Veuve Clicquot,

Beautifully presented in a black and gold gift box, completely matching the bottle inside. Gift worthy from the offset. It's one of those bottles that almost look too good to open. Its 750ml and 12% volume with a cork top. Chilled and gently poured, it taste absolutely amazing. A lovely golden colour. Fresh and crisp. A fruity taste with citrus flavourings coming through. Refreshing and perfect for any celebratory occasion. Would make a lovely gift, that would be greatfully received. Pleasant to drink, one where you cany help to have just one more glass. Very enjoyable, a treat we certainly needed.

I am not a wine connisuer (cant even spell it), but i do know what i like..I don't like a huge amount of wines/champagnes style drinks but this one was nice.It tasted more crisp and clean tasting to me, slight sweetness as well.Whilst it is nice, and easy to drink, i find it hard recommending drinks with big price tags, but again that could be down to my lack of expereince.The packaging on this is also lovely, it really does scream quality so if it is in your budget range then i would say go for it. Other than that, i can say it does the job..It also arrived very well packaged and on time.
