This is a beautiful champagne. Veuve are one of the best known and best respected champagne houses, and the rose offering does not disappoint. The wine is dominated by the pinot noir, and has a beautiful deep rose color.On the nose there are lots of fresh fruits. I think even someone with no prior wine tasting experience would be able to pick out strawberry. On the palette the champagne is surprisingly rich - the fresh fruit moves towards dried fruits, with a buttery brioche note. Medium finish.Cheers Widow Clicquot!Tip: This magnum fluctuates in price a lot. Keep your eyes peeled and you just might get a great deal (I would say £80 is a great deal for a magnum sized VC rose).

I bought this as a present & it went-down-a-storm! What can one add about one of the world renowned Champagne houses? The wine was, according to the consumer, fine on the palate & had a good aftertaste.. unlike some sparkling wines which are full of injected gas, that 'attacks the back of your throat'. This champagne was smooth, with the 'sparkle' lasting quite a long time after it was opened. Would i buy again? Yes! The champagne was competitively priced & delivered promptly.

I hadn’t had this champagne before so bought it for a special occasion to see what it was like. I was pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be buying this again. It arrived with the box intact and would have made a great present if I hadn’t drunk it myself!!

With the discount voucher, the price was reasonable. With Amazon promotional credits, the offer was even better! Also a nice touch that the Rosé came with a free gift box.

I mean, I can't complain can I? It is what it is. If you like this particular bottle of champs, then get it. Well packaged, was on special so that was great too.

One of my favourite champagnes at a great price! I’ve recently discovered buying champagne on amazon, so much better value then in the supermarket. Delicious

This is my favourite Rose. It is perfect for a summer drink or to pair with food. My favourite pairing at the moment is sushi. Fantastic. Will buy again.

It was part of our fabulous Christmas lunch celebration. Lovely in the champagne flutes and delicious and fruity to drink with the Verve bubbles magic.

The champagne is fab but very disappointed it came in a brown cardboard box and not box as picture - this is for a gift

I ordered this to celebrate Canada Day for July 1st. It was so yummy I ordered it again. It is pricey, but so lovely.

Loved this fizz and was on offer so a steal… but came in the biggest box ever - such a waste hence 4*
