Champagne is tricky stuff. There are a number of big named brands which command accordingly high prices, but in reality do not live up to their names, being rather thin and acidic, and lacking in the fruit department (most of these can be improved by storing for a year or two). This Perrier Jouet on the other hand may be less well known than some, but deserves to be recognised as a great non-vintage champagne. It has a great depth of flavour, with comparatively rich fruit flavours which perfectly balance the acidity. It is not overly fizzy like some. It has sufficient body to be a great accompaniment to food,

Given as a gift for a friends birthday. It was delivered directly arriving on the big day as planned (thanks Amazon you are stars).Whilst we were unable to be with your friend on the day, so did not get to sample the champagne. We were told by those in attendance that is was very good and that we are welcome to give them exactly the same on their birthdays.We have always opted for Perrier Jouet when buying mid level champagne as we like the consistency of quality, great flavor and smoothness that is often lacking in the lower end of the market.

This is perrier jouet's non-vintage offering, for their vintage offering look to la belle epoque; but be prepared to spend. This is a very fine champagne, it has a lot more character than many similar priced champagnes, and easily retails for £45, so if you catch this on offer it's worth a try. It's still a major champagne house, but a little less obvious than perhaps Moet or Tattinger so a good gift for someone early on their champagne journey. The label has a vintage Parisian quality to it which I think is very attractive.

Lovely champagne, a Gold medal winner (2012) and a delight to enjoy. My main reason for posting this however was to highlight the description given above ...'The Grand Brut is delicate, elegant and balanced champagne with a long finishBlosseon, honeysuckle and yellow fruit flavours will magnificently reveal the delicate flavours of poultry and the sweetness of vanilla aromas''Err, did they slip up somewhere? And what might blosseon be I wonder?

goes down a treat with plenty bubbles to make this a fizz to remember. enjoyed a bottle between 2 people for that special of most special occasions. one of the finest champagnes, beats moet by a few bubbles more, lasting the drinking time.

Taste is delicious. Fruity and crisp. Came with no issues, packaging easy to open. Exactly what I expected when I ordered. Perfect for a party or nice dinner. Or just relaxing or sauna or bath. Cheers

Awesome. I love champagne. This boxed set was bought for myself and for a pick me up for my husband. Well worth it. Would make a GREAT gift for anyone anytime. Be kind to each other.

If you like champagne then this is a niche brand. Perfect as an aperitif or drink with seafood and lighter meat.Fine bubbles with straw colour that has a hint of apple and cucumber.

Love this Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Non Vintage and the Rose. Light and crisp when chilled. Enjoyable on it's ownor with my grilled salmon salad... Delicious Champagne..

Bought this set as it was actually cheaper than buying the bottle alone. Tastes amazing and the glasses are actually a decent quality surprisingly. Makes a good gift.

Love it. Very good champagne. It's not a Brut natural so it's still got sugar added - but it's not too sweet. We drink it often and like to give it as a gif.

Such a lovely presentation box and a I love this champagne. The glasses are pretty and fine but slightly on the small side. Very good value

Much nicer than Moet- great value! Try some if you like fizz- then you will love this and work your way up to Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque.
