Having visited Epernay several times and toured the Champagne houses; Mercier stands out as rather special. Unable to locate it in the UK, I have long raved about the delicate fresh taste. Whereas many champagnes can end up rather acidic in your mouth, Mercier is like drinking an excellent sorbet. Gentle sweet start, long drawn out aromatic refreshment and clean on the tongue afterwards. A good champagne always has very fine bubbles and given how much care they put into manufacturing I don't think you'll find anything as good at this excellent price. Try it - you could get 2 bottles of Mercier for one of Bollinger (and I simply love Bollinger............!!)

Lovely to be able to buy the product as I haven't been able to source in any shops.Delivery was completely up to expectations and goods were well wrapped/protected

Delicious.Makes any occasion a happy one.Dry and flavoursome. Try it yourself and see.Forget the canapés, keep your palate clear and concentrate on the taste.
