We bought this lovely bottle of Bottega Gold Prosecco as a birthday gift for a friend. She reported back that the bottle was packaged very safely and securely. She was really surprised when she opened the package and thought the bottle looked beautiful. She popped it in the fridge and had it with her husband with the birthday meal they had later that week. It tasted as good as it looked and we are so glad we splashed out on this lovely bottle of Prosecco. It was far more that we'd ever spend on a bottle of wine, but we now have got the perfect gift up our sleeve when ever we are stumped for a gift idea. I cannot comment on the taste of this item as I purchased this as a birthday gift for a prosecco loving friend and she absolutely loved it. I am thinking of buying one for myself given previous reviews on taste as it would definitely look the part next to my other bottles of vintage champagne.The shine of the bottle in real life definitely imitates that which is pictured and the price point makes it a no-brainer given comparatively boring looking bottles of Moët or Veuve will set you back £35 on a good day.I definitely recommend this as a gift and will certainly be purchasing again in the future.

I cannot recommend this Prosecco highly enough!I discovered it on a trip to Venice, where I asked the hotel owner which of the many Prosecco varieties he would recommend. Bottega was the immediate answer: the wine is produced around 40km from Venice, and with a fresh medium-dry taste with a hint of apple and pear, he boasted that this is the best Prosecco of the bunch. I've lost count of the number of bottles of Bottega Gold i've had since that recommendation, but needless to say, I entirely agree with the waiter.This is a bottle I'll recognise and go for time and time again.

Whow amazingly super fast delivery which was also free. Ordered Friday and received Saturday and that was standard delivery. This bottle came very well packaged very secure. It is a stunning looking bottle and would not look out of place in a Bond film. I ordered this as a birthday gift and if the wine Taste's as good as the bottle looks this will definitely go down a treat. My only complaint is it should come with something to put it in as all of those ordinary bottle bags do no justice. Not one glamorous enough for the bottle. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

I bought this purely cause the gold bottle looked very eye catching, I was expecting to be disgusted with the contents as I have tried and tried and tried to find a wine/prosecco/champagne that I could actually drink and every one I have tried I hated would rather drink my own piss! But when I tried this wow! Couldn't believe it actually found the holy grail! This stuff is perfection! I never ever thought I would be able to drink any type of squashed grapes as I'm so fussy but this is my new fave drink! Love, love, love it!!!

Absolutely stunning presentation bottle.....pic doesn't do it justice at all.....recommend as an exquisite & expensive looking gift at a reasonable price for a special occasion. Extremely well packaged in a protective airbag sleeve & double boxed, so plenty of special care taken by vendor to ensure gift arrives unbroken and undamaged. Fast delivery & faultless service!! This is a special gift for my best friend & her husband's joint big 0 birthdays in July so cannot comment on the bottle's content!!

Got this as a present for p e of my family members. They loved it, the bottle stands out and looks to be more expensive then it is. The prosecco is nice as well but to be fair you are not buying this for the alcohol inside, you are buying the looks. If you are looking for a present to give or wanting to treat yourself to something nice I would recommend this to buy.

These were presents for a friend and for my niece as I stayed at each house for a weekend. They had never seen or heard of this Prosecco before and were very impressed. I have recently ordered a couple more bottles with different packaging to see how they look for future presents - have a wedding coming up soon so may use one for that. They tste fab too. Thank you

Bought this as a birthday gift.The bottle is on the heavy side and looks fantastic.The golden glass really makes this bottle stand out.I've heard the prosecco isn't too bad either.In terms of packaging, it is packaged in a strong cardboard box and protected by foam cushions.I can highly recommend for gift giving. The recipient was highly impressed.

bought this for my significant other so that we could enjoy the night (alone in a steamy, hot bed)we never tasted any alcoholic drink before and we were programming a baby Ai all night long in our bed....but when she drank this, she became sleepy and I got to drink all of it!tasted like apple+orange+grape and then catalysed under cat pee....

Initially I thought "cool bottle but I bet the product is poor and it's all about the gold". I was wrong!This is a top end prosecco. Worth the extra cash compared to a supermarket brand or type. It's dry but not overly so and has great depth of flavour. I'd happily buy again and would be fine with serving at dinner parties to guests as well.

I bought a bottle of this for new year. The Mrs and I popped it at the bells and we rather enjoyed it. We don't drink often so after two glasses each the bottle was bottle done and so were we. None the less we both really enjoyed this Prosecco, it has a lovely taste and I will maybe try some of the others in the Bottega range in future.

After buying some of this wine from the duty free on holiday I looked it up on-line and was pleased to find it on Amazon at a decent price. If you are wanting a great tasting sparkling wine that you can impress your friends with then this is the wine for you. The presentation is first class and adds a quality feel. Enjoy!

Given to my wife as a stocking filler. I never saw it again except for throwing the empty bottle in the recycle bin!! She tells me it was delicious and is much better than the similar supermarket stuff of which she is so fond. So based on this not, unfortunately, personal experience, I (she) recommends this.

Bought this for a best friend who is obsessed with prosecco and she loved it. The bottle itself is beautiful and comes very securely wrapped in a huge box. It's definitely a step up from shop bought prosecco so if you're looking for something that little bit more special I would definitely recommend this.
