I'm no wine expert, but have a reasonable understanding of wines. Myself and my wife are mainly Prosecco drinkers, as we prefer the slight sweetness and of course it costs a lot less than Champagne. This Champagne has a nice smooth mouth feel with loads of very fine bubbles associated with a good champagne. It has a very gentle pink tinge. I tested this wine last night, mostly on my own, and had a completely clear head this morning. The taste... I would best describe it as Pink Grapefruit, with an amount of sourness, not a bad sourness, but definitely there to my taste. My wife had half a glass and said she didn't like it... I however, was happy to finish the bottle.I'm not knowledgeable enough to suggest a food pairing.I did finish it, but would I buy it again... no. Not because it's bad, because it's not, it's just not to my taste. It's not something I would give as a gift or take to someone's house either, as I felt the clear bottle and non-traditional shape made it look much cheaper than it actually is.

Being a big fan of Pinot Noir grapes and Red wine generally I was really interested to see how this would come off. It's not a fizzy wine, this has the legal right to carry the name Champagne and as such you can normally assume there is a high standard of care given to the production of this wine. Normally I'm a Perrier Jouet fan and the Chardonnay grape used in their wine but this is very good. It's also designated as BRUT but it's not that harsh awful taste you get with Mumm or Veuve Cliquot or that other mass produced stuff Moet. This is a nice clean finishing glass that you really should treat yourself too. The good news is this doesn't rely on mass production on huge marketing campaigns and sponsorship. This gets there by being good and if you try this or Perrier Jouet you'll never go back.

From the much celebrated cattier champagne house, famed for its flagship 'ace of spades' brand owned by rapper jay z I was expecting so much more in a packaging sense. The bottle itself is less than appealing a small poorly attached label and minuscule branding isn't what you would expect from a £35 a bottle champagne. With that said though the champagne itself is beautiful. Soft red and black fruits are predominant, it's crops dry freshness leaves you wanting more and it's subtle salmon colour make for a stunning pour.A lovely celebration bottle but falls short on presentation.

Saved this one for New Year, we all had some with dinner and it was appreciated by most. Some felt it slightly bitter/sour, a little too sharp. I enjoyed it, my lush auntie loved it, mum wasn't fussed. It's a pleasant taste, raspberry verging on grapefruit for me. I'm no wine expert, but this is well produced, very pleasant and refreshing, and not too fizzy.

Absolutely gorgeous. The fizz is just right it tickles your nose. The taste is excellent.I have never tried a rose champagne so it made a nice change. The bouquet is soft and gentle. It went down a treat with an evening indoors.Nice and cosy with cheese and biscuits.A shame we had drunk it all before we realised.Very, very nice.I do recommend this.

Pretty good value, and a good, straight champagne flavour profile - robust acidity, a little creaminess, some mineral complexity. Not at all 'pink' tasting, but good all the same.
