L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. Opens in to 2 parts, the compacted powder on top, then lift that up and there's a mirror underneath with an application pad. I'm not really good at makeup but I kind of know what i'm doing, and I actually really like this, which I normally avoid foundations and powders because the colour rarely matches my skin. It applies light and you can't see the powder visibly, took quite a lot to make a difference to any major blemishes on my face, but with a moisturiser or primer underneath it, I like it as a light dusting as it does smooth everything out. It's very much a subtle product; would require a lot of it to look noticeable but then you're in foundation cake territory - if you want just something to even things out ever so slightly,

I have purchased this product for many years but I have found it difficult to source lately. I ordered from Amazon as it was available and at a good price. I do not like to wear a liquid foundation and have found this product to give just the right amount of coverage without feeling too heavy on the skin. I find that towards lunchtime (make up goes on at 6 am) that a little too up is required to hide any shine peeping through. N4 is the right colour for me. I admit the compact pad in a separate compartment from the powder itself is a bit of a pain when you're flipping from the powder to the mirror but it is a small inconvenience to suffer for such a great product. I would highly recommend.

The Golden Beige blending powder is quite a bit lighter than it looks in the box but it also gives a really nice subtle glow to the skin.The powder is designed to cover pores and smooth out imperfections, which it does really well, and is easy to apply with the included pad in the bottom half of the case, alongside the usual mirror. Our case was, unfortunately, broken on the hinge for the mirror so my wife couldn't use this properly and it does look a little flimsy on the joint where the mirror attaches, but it may have just been unlucky on our part that it broke.A good result from a simple powder, then, and really easy to apply, plus it doesn't feel dry or powdery after application.

I love this powder. Comes in a smart little compact complete with mirror and brush. Quite small really so will sit in handbag easily and securely fastened so no risk of mishaps. I normally use powder over foundation just as a way of fixing it. In the interest of review I first tried this on its own. I was really pleased with the results. The colour of the skin on my face was even and looked brighter. I shall use it for daytime use, when light makeup quickly applied is all I require. I think I would prefer a heavier look for evening when I shall use it over foundation. I will certainly be renewing it when it runs out but as you require so little it should last some time.

This is a good powder, a littler darker than I was expecting so more suitable for darker complexions rather than good old pale and interesting.It gives good coverage on the face and keeps foundations and the like where they should be rather than allowing them to transfer off on to anything that touches them, so giving you a made up look that is capable of lasting the full working day.It is easy to apply - i prefer a nice fluffy powder brush to the little powder puff that is provided in the base of the compact, simply because it gives lighter coverage, but when you are out and about and want a quick touch up to freshen you look this is very handy to have.

This powder foundation is perfect for someone who doesn't like too much makeup on her skin and to feel as if the skin cannot breathe. Liquid foundation doesn't suit me so I tried this from L'Oreal and was not disappointed. The texture is light and the powder blends very well and is not cakey. I replaced the application pad with a sponge pad from an old compact and found that application is much smoother with a sponge pad. I've used this product daily for about 4-5 months and will buy another, but perhaps in golden beige for winter use. The N4 Beige shade is ideal for late summer/autumn and I would recommend it. 5 stars for an excellent product.

I've started using a liquid foundation for evenings out now that I'm in my mid fifties as my skin is starting to look slightly patchy but sometimes the liquid makes me look slightly too pale. (I can't use blusher as I get flushed after an alcoholic drink!) I was reluctant to use powder as I already have dry skin and had heard that it could make older women look worse. But this was an inexpensive product with good reviews so I decided to experiment and am glad that I did. It smooths out slight imperfections without looked caked-on and gives me a more natural look.

A nice quite large compact of powder with a mirror and pad applicator under the powder. However the lid only clips shut over all two layers so if you’re using the mirror for any extended period the front cover pops open.The shade is nice for a pale winter skin, quiet neutral not too orange. Blends in well over foundation.The ingredients are on the back, only about 15-20 ingredients quite a small amount for a modern product! Includes talc, nylon 12, dimethicone, magnesium sterate, zea mays starch, silk powder, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, colours…….

The powder comes in a useful compact with two compartments that includes a mirror and brush. The compact does look slightly on the cheap side, but this should not detract from its functionality… and perhaps more importantly the quality of the product – which is very good. The powder gives a very good coverage and is easy to apply. I was happy with the ‘tone’ of the product, giving a very subtle and natural tan look on my light to medium skin. This is a very nice product.

I have palish skin so need a little colour boost. I was a bit worried that this was darker than I would like but it goes on as a lighter shade and gives a nice warm glow, especially with winter palor!The compact comes with a applicator pad, which is housed beneath with a mirror. In some ways this is a bit odd, as you load the pad then flip up the powder into the lid to see what you are doing, but that is my only niggle! Nice colour, good coverage - light and smooth.

Have tried this powder with and without foundation and gave good results on both. Without foundation it gives a medium coverage but didn't quite hide all the marks on my face and shine did come through after a few hours so I tried it with foundation and then it gave quite an airbrushed kind of appearance to my face and used over my blusher made my skin look smooth and clear it's a nice powder and I will purchase again. colour was good too for my fair complexion.

A really lovely, light powder, in a smart looking compact.Comes with an upper compartment containing the powder cake itself, with a central clear window, and a lower compartment that houses the applicator sponge and mirror. The sponge is diddy and really soft!The powder is quite translucent and great as a finishing powder, not really meant as a covering powder. No caking and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft, matt finished and glowing.

I wasn't sure this would be the right colour for me as it looked a little dark but when on the skin it really is a good match! Comes in a nice compact with an applicator and mirror so its handy to carry round in your handbag. I found it went on heavier with the applicator pad and preferred the lighter touch of using it with a brush. Nice finish that hides imperfections well and it stays in place all day. Recommended

Very impressed with this, the perfect shade for me and a really nice silky formula which covers and mattifies without being cakey. I'm wearing this on its own at the moment and it really does look very good. The mirror under the pan is exceptionally good too, so many are impossible to useo r too small. Applicator is just a little puff pad so I will keep that for travelling and use my own bigger one.
