L'Oréal Infallible Longwear More Than Concealer in OATMEAL No 324Another offering from the longstanding L'Oréal brand. We need all the help we can get at times, and this product fits the bill in concealing blemishes, dark under eye circles etc.1st Impressions:-• The presentation is really very nice and looks more like a perfume atomiser than a Concealer, with the chunky body and the shiny black and silver foil geometric design screw top.• The Concealer is tamper-proof sealed and also has a peel back label on which is printed the List of Ingredients. The print is very small so you may need a magnifying glass! In Use:-• Simply unscrew the top and gently pull out the chunky sponge applicator wand.It is angled to facilitate precise application.• The Concealer has quite a thick consistency, so if the blemish/area you want to cover up is small, just carefully dab it on and then further work in either with your finger, a small brush or even a cotton bud. This method avoids any drag on delicate skin.• I found that coverage was excellent. I wanted to correct the dark socket area of the eyes, each side of my nose. Also a flat large freckle type mark and a small scar.• I applied moisturiser, then the Concealer and finally a light foundation (L'Oreal Infallible 24 hr Liquid Foundation in LINEN). Under eye I dabbed on the Concealer and then gently spread and smoothed with a small make-up brush. I did similar on the socket areas each side of my nose. This Concealer and the Foundation I used blended together perfectly. The effect lasted all day.• I had no adverse reaction to the product. At time of writing this Review, the RRP is £8.99 for a generous 11ml. I can definitely recommend this Concealer – applied with care it does a brilliant job.HANDY BEAUTY TIP - If you apply Concealer BEFORE your Foundation, particularly around the eyes, then the Concealer adds grip and staying power to the Foundation.

I had the opportunity to try several of these shades of concealer and I chose a range of the lighter shades, which I thought may suit my daughters and my own skin tones. I chose to trial 321 Eggshell, 324 Oatmeal, 325 Bisque, 332 Amber, 334 Walnut, 335 Caramel, 323 Fawn, 337 Almond, 338 Honey, 329 Cashew.I have quite pale skin, so I trialed the lighter shades, while my daughter, who has a more olive complexion, trialed the darker shades. We found that some of the shades, especially the Eggshell, was extremely pale indeed and I can't really imagine anyone being so pale, as I am already very pale as it is, but the eggshell shade just made me look deathly pale. The best matches I had were the Oatmeal,Fawn and Bisque, which were very subtly different, but not too dark. For my daughters more olive skin tone, the best shades were Cashew and Amber.Unfortunately, the other shades were just a lot darker than the shades appear on the swatch images, so the Walnut, Caramel, Almond and Honey were far to dark, where as they appear a light tan.I would suggest that whatever colour you think would be your best match, go a shade or two lighter. Each concealer comes in a stylish tube, with a feathery sponge tipped applicator. The concealer is a light creamy liquid, which applies smoothly and can be blended best using a make up sponge over the areas where you want to hide blemishes or uneven skin tone. I have a darker spot on one of my cheeks and it covered this very well. The concealer dries in nicely, without making your skin feel tight or dry and can be blended well with your usual foundation for a lovely smooth even finish. It wipes off easily with wet wipes or make up wipes.Overall, it is a good product, but price is a little higher than I'd like to pay, but you are paying for the brand name.

I tested two shades of this concealer with two different foundation colours: a friend tested Oatmeal, which she used with Vanilla Rose (the combination suggested by L'Oreal) and I tested Cashew with Radiant Beige (L'Oreal recommends Golden Beige as the foundation for Cashew and Latte as the concealer for Radiant Beige-TBH Cashew is a little more golden in colour than Latte but the colours are quite similar). In terms of colour match, they are about right-Oatmeal is a little lighter than Vanilla Rose but it blends reasonably well. Cashew goes well enough with Radiant Beige and it's a good compromise for me as the slightly golden tinge suits my skin tone more.In terms of the acutal concealer,it provides a much heavier coverage than I usually wear so it does cover everything (and only slightly settles in lines) but it's obvious I'm wearing make up. The Doe Foot is a bit heavy handed in application so it's harder to use it sparingly when using it to apply. After several applications, I am better at using it more sparingly and can get lighter coverage. But in combination with the foundation, the overall effect is quite full-on and it's even harder to get a light coverage look with both, even using them sparingly. Considering that the coverageis heavy, this could work well with contouring, but I'm no expert with contouring! It does last all day and comes off either with make up wipes or a good cleanse. I haven't tried wearing it for 24 hours as I won't do that to my skin! But considering how heavily you can apply it, if you did, I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted 24 hours. If you need/like a heavier coverage concealer in a brand you trust at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with this!

Okay so I’ve been on the hunt for a foundation that is full cover, doesn’t end up going shiny throughout the day (aka stays matte) and LASTS! And when I say last- I mean a good 10-12 hours. This foundation is marketed as being infallible 24 hour, and I can’t really comment on whether it goes the full 24 hours, because I mean really who wears foundation for that long anyway?! But it did last the whole day (around 12 hours) which is good enough for me.It’s a liquid foundation, and applies via a wand- not the best to be honest, it’s not as easy to apply as those that come in squeezy bottles or simply pour out, but at least it does save on waste. It does cover quite well and sets fairly quickly,I was able to continue on with contouring within around a minute of applying it.I wouldn’t say it’s total coverage, I have had better (I mean I do have freckles to cover though, which isn’t easy!) but it does do a better job than the foundation I was using prior to receiving this one.I didn’t really go shiny throughout the day, which was a big plus to me, I found I wasn’t having to reapply mineral powder like I normally would do.I’d say if you didn’t need complete full coverage as I do, and are happy with at least a full 12 hours of lasting foundation, then this would be a good buy for you, especially if you’re more on a high street budget with cost. There ARE better foundations out there, but then you’d be looking at paying premium prices, so this is really the happy medium of a well lasting foundation at a great price. The shade was also spot on for me, I liked that it didn’t have orange tones to it, which is a huge problem with many high street brand foundations.

My favourite concealer, by a high-end brand whose initials start with BB, has been discontinued so I was keen to try this alternative from L’Oreal. I was offered a couple of different shades and I picked “Fawn” which seemed light enough but not the lightest. When it arrived, it was immediately obvious that it’s a much lighter shade than it looks on the swatch, and having read some of the reviews here, it appears that overall each shade is lighter than expected.Anyway, aside from the colour - the product is actually quite thick and offers a lot of coverage so it’s very different from my discontinued concealer and from similar ‘eye brighteners’ from other brands. Also, the applicator picks up a lot of product, and it’s easy to overdo it: so remember, a little goes a long way. Undeterred, I set out to blend this ton of very, very light concealer under my eyes. Initially I looked weird (you know like when some women really overdo it with the Instagram like makeup) but eventually I got it blended to an acceptable level and it looked okay.Hours later, I have to say that the result was still pretty good and unlike my discontinued concealer, it had not creased or settled into the fine lines under my eyes. So actually, I have to say, I’m quite impressed. I will have to try and find a better shade though - as Fawn is too light for my skin tone (and I’m fair skinned).Overall, I’d recommend this product.

The L’Oreal Paris infallible Long where 24 hour more than concealer Matte finish, comes with a doe foot applicator. I took the opportunity to test and review this product with the help of my mum. My mum suffers with vitiligo and broken veins on her cheeks. We knew that the L’Oreal Paris infallible 344 espresso concealer was possibly going to be a bit dark for her skin tone, As usually she uses A lighter concealer. She uses the doe foot applicator by just placing a dot-on her cheek, and then with a damp cosmetic sponge with a little moisturising cream, she blends the concealer and moisturiser around her face and neck, then repeats the same process on the other cheek making sure that all the areas have been correctly blended in,including under the nose. When she has blended the concealer she then adds a little lipstick and finishes off with a fix spray. The concealer hides all of her vitiligo and blemishes, this particular 344 espresso Leaves her skin with a slight tan appearance. The concealer lasts all day. I asked how did the concealer feel once applied, she said it felt fine and natural. As she is not one for wearing lots of make up.The good thing about this product is that you don’t need a lot as it covers and goes a long way when blended. We agree this is a good concealer, once you have chosen your correct colour tone from their range.

More Than Concealer comes in a capsule with a generous-sized but user-friendly wand foam applicator, and proves itself as a multi-tasker as it can be applied to either blemishes and to even out skin tone, or to contour and define. The application is really easy, making it just the job when out-and-about and on the move – this is a handbag essential! The product has great texture and high pigment so less really is more. It easily concealed a couple of areas I had of concern. I dabbed a little of More Than Concealer directly on imperfections and then blended it in - you could use your finger or soft brush - but personally I got a better result dabbing with a slightly damp cosmetic sponge. It covered impressively without giving the sensation of being heavy or cloying, and felt non-greasy and lightweight. The result was a great matte finish. Top marks for ‘wearability’ – I applied it in the morning and, after a full day at work, it still hadn’t smudged, run, or faded, and only needed a slight touch-up before meeting up with friends for after-work drinks. Staying power! More importantly, it remained unnoticeable on my skin - it didn’t settle into any fine lines around my eyes or forehead. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have combination skin prone to spots, I’m also in my 50’s so my skin has lines too. I wanted a concealer that gave me good coverage without drying out my skin or too oily. L’Oréal’s Infaillible More Than Concealer does just that. It’s in a smartly designed container with the contents colour easily seen, it holds a generous 11ml so should last quite a while. The ‘doe’s foot’ applicator seems rather large for concealer but it’s soft and you can angle it to apply less or more as you want. I chose the colour cashew as I have a medium skin tone with freckles that tans easily. This is a light tan shade which when blended with a cotton bud around the edges does blend well with my skin.I’ve used lighter beige shade concealers before and they can look too obvious if lighter than my skin, which kind of defeats the whole concealing object. I’ve added two photos here without any other make up or filters, the left is before the concealer application, the right is after. It certainly does cover the redness but I’ve knocked off one star as it seems to take an age to dry. I suggest putting it on first then applying your eye make up whilst it dries. Gently blend the edges with a cotton bud to blend it in. I hope my review helps you in your decision.

As a result of a medical condition I have a round scar on the side of my face about the size of a 5 pence piece. I am very self conscious about this and always use a concealer to hide it. I have tried many concealers over the years and the results have been mixed. I tried this concealer and found that it worked really well. I enclose two photographs - one showing the scar and the other showing the scar after I had applied the concealer to it. These photos were taken with a macro lens so these are EXTREMELY close up! In this case the concealer was applied to my bare skin but I have also used the concealer on top of foundation and on top of tinted moisturiser. In all cases it covered the scar really well. The concealer is applied using a foam applicator and you simply dab in on your skin and then rub in very gently with your finger. It blends in really well and there is a wide range of shades so you are sure to find a shade that suits you. I found that it stayed put really well and lasted for most of the day, even after I had been working in the garden. Obviously you may not have a scar but this product would work equally well at disguising dark circles under the eyes. I recommend this product and would certainly buy it again.

L'Oreal Paris produce some lovely beauty and makeup products and this concealer is no exception. The concealer (321 Eggshell) is a good match for my difficult to match ivory toned skin and works well in reducing the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. This long wear concealer comes in a lipstick shaped bottle with its own applicator … a sponge tipped wand which is rounded at the end.Being a cross between a liquid and a cream means that it gives good coverage without clogging up your pores. It is slightly scented but not overpoweringly so.This concealer is easy to apply using the sponge applicator that is attached to the inside of the lid which allows you to apply the liquid exactly where it is needed.Simply dab or stroke a little on the blemish or under eye area and blend gently, be careful not to rub it in to much otherwise you will be defeating the object of covering the area.  After application my skin felt smooth and my blemishes and I have a few, were completely covered.I applied this concealer in the morning and I did need to reapply again before the evening ... so not quite 24 hours. Still it's a good quality concealer and I quite like it.

This gives good coverage - it's not a mask so it doesn't make marks invisible. But it does mute them and give a nice even and polished finish.I used it over my Infallible foundation and was very pleased with the result. It's not cakey or artificial and brightens, covers and evens out everything. It lasts all day too, my face still looked fresh and bright at 7pm.I've dropped a star because it is a heavy concealer and my skin was beginning to feel clogged as the day went on. I know it's not the foundation because I've used that before without the concealer. I'm one of those people who's normally happy to go to bed without removing make-up but this time I had to actually cleanse my face thoroughlybefore bed as I was worried how cloggy my skin felt. One more negative is that the colours are a lot darker than expected. I have a few shades of this and my normal foundation is a sand or a light beige. The L'Oreal concealer that worked best on me was bisque. I'd recommend you try the shades in a shop and apply lightly.I wouldn't personally use this every day but for special occassions, it's fine. Clean your skin afterwards though!

My goodness. You’re hungover, haven’t slept in weeks, never ate a vitamin? Wear this. I put it on under my eyes, all unassuming thinking it was a regular concealer, no. Heck no. This baby is pure pigment. I didn’t even recognise myself. I haven’t slept more than a few hours in weeks due to finals and I looked as fresh as a daisy. I have this in Ivory and it matches my skin/foundation in this colour so if you’re lighter than Armani luminous silk 2 or nars siberia you’ll want to pick a lighter shade. But this concealer doesn’t mess around. I found it needed a light dusting with powder to set but that’s how I prefer concealers, especially in the under eye area as my undereye can easily look dry and creased. It lasted all day. I swear to goodness. I spent an entire day doing double takes and wore it to the exam where even my teacher looked at me funny as if something was different with me - it was. I looked rested for the first time in years. It conceals blemishes, discolouration and undereyes with complete ease. A little does go a long way though!
