I was asked if I’d like to review L'Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paint, Lacquer, Number 102, Darling Pink, and I said yes as I’d just finished my usual lipstick.This is L’Oréal’s first liquid lacquer lip paint.When it arrived I thought the colour would have been lighter like on the product page but it’s a really dark pink, (too dark for my pale complexion).This product has a slanted teardrop shaped sponge applicator, which allows for easy and precise application with the optimum deposit of lip paint.The lipstick is more like lip gloss, it’s easy to apply and goes on smoothly. Then when it comes to removing it, it comes off very easily.It doesn’t smudge and is water resistant,

My wife wishes to share with you: "The 102 colour is a little more coral than than the picture, but still wearable for me. The applicator is easy to use and I can get a fairly clean edge without using lip liner pencil first. The pigment is surprisingly intense, and for day I found a smallish dab with a lip balm worked well. Used 'full strength' it looks more dressy and 'professional work face', leaning towards a little startling for friends and family! It stays wet look glossy and stays sticky (like wet paint in fact) so easily transferred onto cups, though it is comfortable. The pigment is so dense that even after a cup of tea there is still a fair bit of colour left.

Initially, this appears to be similar to a lip gloss. The applicator, the texture and consistency, all are very much as a lip gloss.However, it's very definitely NOT a lip gloss, because with a sparing application, the lip stain dries to a stunning finish.I personally, don't think that the applicator does the product justice - hence 4 stars. For me, it's too messy, and not accurate. I much prefer to use a good lip brush, and take my time to outline first, and fill in after.Coverage is good, but I needed to carefully apply a good 2-3 layers to get an even finish. Once blotted, it lasts a good 4-5 hours before needing reapplication.It's a strong, nicely coloured product in a delicious shade of pinky red.

I love this colour, not a colour I usually go for but it really complements my skin tone (slightly olive and tanned).The lip colour is easy to apply with the stick and is quite a thick consistency so I can create a good clean line, no need for lip liner at all. Also the lip paint does not bleed and stays put.Lasting power - well it didn't last for 8 hours, however it did last for the morning which quite impressed me. The lip paint faded a little but still looked OK and it had faded consistently. The lip paint is comfortable to wear, not drying like some other long-lasting lip tints/ sticks etc.I would definitely buy this product, going to try a darker colour next time.

This is essentially a lip gloss, admittedly it is an above average one, which certainly is a step up from several I have used in the past.Housed in a plastic tube this is so easy to apply with the help of the wand which is contoured to the shape of your lips. A pretty pink I needed two applications to achieve the desired effect and enhance the colour. Not as long lasting as it professes though because once you have a drink or a bite to eat you need to re-apply. Nevertheless this is excellent value for the money.

This is amazing!The reasons I love it are:1. It has real deep colour that is rich and bright. This colour is also gorgeous - a deep pink2. It is very nourishing and feels great on the lips.3. It lasts for hours! It really does!4. Usually lipstick that lasts for hours feels horrible on this lips, all sticky and tacky- not this, it feels amazing.This is probably the best lipstick I have ever tried. I will definitely be buying this in other colours! Gorgeous.

The colour is OK - a bit on the pinky side for my taste on first application, but it does last well - about 4 hours so long as you dont eat - a nice even application with the built in applicator, and a soft feel on the lips, not too glossy in appearance. A lot of long lasting lip stains make the lips feel dry. but this is much better than most - took about two to three hours before I felt dryness, so all in all, I like this one

When you unscrew the cap on this you find it is attached to an elongated lip sponge which makes applying the luscious product inside very easy. You get a nice full, thick coverage with just one application, though this does need careful blotting so as not to smudge. There appears to be a raspberry flavouring which is extra yummy. I was given No.102 to test which turned out to be a very sexy dark pink.

Quite thick with a satin finish would need to built up product to get high shine. Due to thickness removed a little by pursing lips down on tissue was amazed at finish. Put on at 8 am lasted through lunch reapplied once at 3pm so lasted well in comparison to some other lipsticks, true to colour and I will definately be purchasing again.

This comes with a good applicator which makes it easy to apply, however if it is applied too thickly it tends to slide off the lips. It’s long lasting, it stays put even after drinking hot drinks, easily lasts all day. It’s also a fabulously bright shiny colour, lovely.

Another stunning lip paint from L'Oréal, does what it says, stays put for up to 8 hours, even with lip licking !Beautiful shade, easy to apply, looks and feels great

Received but not as nude colour as I thought. It's quite a deep colour and quite thick textured. I am sure a lot of people will love it but but bright for me.

A lovely matte lip colour with a lemony taste - not the longest lasting but didn’t dry my lips out
