So far so good! The green & white umbrella looks cheerful on a wet day and is a good size. It comes with a protective green cover which fits snugly.The rubbery soft-touch handle offers really good grip and is comfortable to hold.The cap that holds the tips when the umbrella is furled is sprung-loaded, so it stays put and keeps the tips in place - brilliant!I wouldn't normally use an umbrella in high winds, but did use this one in the extremely gusty weather the day after storm Ciara, managing to keep it pointed into the wind; and while it flexed a lot it didn't break. Wouldn't like to test it out the other way round, though! (with the wind blowing underneath it).The only negative: it has a basic plastic spike,

Unfortunately, the first time I used my umbrella, I ruined it by walking into a tree that had blown down in my driveway. As I had my head down because of the wind and rain, I hadn't seen the branches in front of me. Up until then, it seemed like a good umbrella and I am gutted that I ruined it in this way!

I bought this as a present for a friend. It is sturdy and is great for protection from the rain.
